Best of A1AL – The most successful players and teams!

The A1 Adria League has existed since 2017, and since then, we have hosted 13 seasons, while the 14th is ongoing. Many talented teams and players have competed in more than 10 games overall. If you’ve ever wondered who won the most trophies, who was most consistent, and who noted down the most TOP4 appearances, the answer is right below. Keep reading to find out who the best of the best are in the A1 Adria League.

Most rewarded CS2 competitors in the A1AL

Since CS2 or CS: GO, whichever you prefer, has been our main game since A1AL’s inception, we can start with our best shooters. Firstly, I have got to say that there have been many successful teams over the years that are worth mentioning. As you all remember first two A1AL seasons were won by Valiance, while KlikTech made it to top 4. In those early days, Level Up Esports, Blink, and Team uNIQUE also showed their supremacy. Furthermore, Portugal, iNation, 4glory, and BLUEJAYS were all big regional names that competed in A1AL and secured high spots.

If we fast forward to Season 9 Zero Tenacity starts their reign. Even though that season they placed second, the next three they won without much resistance becoming back to back to back champions. Precisely because Z10 won three consecutive trophies, it’s our most rewarded team ever!

When it comes to the most successful CS2 players Filip “aVN” Belojica and  Milos “dEE” Marceta are the most rewarded ones. Former with five and the latter with three, respectfully. Filip won the A1 Adria League twice with Z10, twice with Level Up Esports, and once with ex-BLUEJAYS back in season 4.

FIFA’s unsurpassed and unmatched player

FIFA or EAFC is another game that has been in the A1 Adria League for the majority of the seasons. It was featured in the first season, with a little break, until in the fifth season we brought it back permanently. That year our trio of veterans was born, Tarik Novo (ex Amke), esad1memic, and brstimir. These three players would go on to compete in almost every season up until current. Furthermore, they didn’t just compete in the low stages of the competition, but they almost always managed to get to TOP 8 or TOP 4.

After Esad Memic won that fifth season, where Novo was in third place, the reign of Novo’s terror began. In the sixth season, Novo won his first title, followed by Memic and brstimir in second and third place respectively. This scenario repeated for two more seasons, except that in S7 and S8 brstimir was vice-champion and Memic third place. Novo continued to be dominant and win titles, and at this moment he has six titles!

I also wanted to mention Milos “brstimir” Majdevac, a player who never won the league but managed to win second or third place almost every single season! If we are talking about consistency, brstimir is our guy.

Furthermore, apart from Novo, players worth mentioning are Gruby and GAME ON Marac who both won the league.

When talking about FIFA I have to mention our newly added FC Mobile game that has been a part of A1AL since the 12th season. So far SHAQ has been the most successful, being the only champion in the game. The defending champion is back in the current season, and we will see if we have a new Tarik Novo on our hands.

Best of Brawl Stars

A1 Adria League went mobile in season 2 but Brawl Stars was first introduced in season 5. At the beginning of each season, a new winner was announced up until team Salada de Frutas entered the stage. This team is without a doubt unpreceded and the most rewarded. Since the ninth season, excluding S10 where they were vice-champions, until the current 14th season, Salada won every single time amounting to four A1AL titles.

Moreover, when talking about individual talents in this game, Salada’s players would be the most successful ones. Nikola “DzonDzon” Brajkovic boasts seven titles and two runner-up awards, while his teammate Andrej “Andrey” Pausic has six A1AL titles and also two runner-ups.

A1AL mini tournament most rewarded teams

As I said at the beginning we have hosted more than 10 games overall. There were competitions in Clash Royale, Hearthstone, Dota 2, League of Legends, PUBG, Valorant, F1, Trackmania, and Fortnite.

In CR the most successful was Nikola, who won the title two times individually and one time as part of Joza Esports. LoL’s most rewarded team in the league was Harmony, while in the PUBG the most dominant was Entropiq who won three consecutive titles (S9, S10, and S11).

Tarik Novo Seizes Fifth A1 Adria League Trophy in FIFA 23 Finals

The A1 Adria League’s FIFA 23 LAN finals, held on the 9th of June at the vibrant Reboot Games Weekend within the Zagrebački Velesajam, delivered a nail-biting spectacle that will be etched in the memory of esports enthusiasts. The grand finale saw Tarik Novo stage an extraordinary comeback, transforming a 0-2 deficit into a triumphant 3-2 victory against Esad Memić. The intensity of the games, coupled with exceptional gameplay from both competitors, treated fans to an exhilarating showcase of skill, determination, and sportsmanship.

Tarik Novo’s Unforgettable Triumph

As the heated battle for the A1 Adria League crown unfolded, the virtual pitch became an arena of suspense and excitement. Novo and Memić showcased their prowess, leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of victory. With each game marked by closely contested goals and unexpected turnarounds, the finals had spectators on the edge of their seats. The audience was treated to a roller-coaster of emotions, witnessing remarkable goals and breathtaking comebacks that kept the outcome uncertain until the very last whistle.

In the midst of this electrifying showdown, it was Tarik Novo who emerged as the hero of the day. Demonstrating nerves of steel and a relentless fighting spirit, Novo orchestrated an incredible turnaround, snatching victory from the jaws of defeat. His ability to adapt, strategize, and execute under pressure showcased the mark of a true champion. This remarkable win marked Novo’s fifth A1 Adria League trophy, solidifying his legacy as one of the league’s most prominent figures.

Novo’s victory was not only a testament to his skill but also reaped substantial rewards. Alongside the prestigious A1 Adria League title, Novo claimed a share of the 1250 Euros prize pool. This win not only highlighted his dominance in the virtual arena but also underscored the growing significance of esports as a legitimate and lucrative career path for talented players.

The FIFA 23 LAN finals of the A1 Adria League will forever remain a memorable chapter in esports history. The captivating journey of Tarik Novo, from a 0-2 deficit to a triumphant 3-2 victory, exemplifies the spirit of competition, resilience, and determination that defines the esports community. As the confetti fell and the cheers echoed through the Reboot Games Weekend venue, Novo’s remarkable feat showcased the true essence of esports – where virtual battles create real-world legends.

Novo: I believe that the finals will be very tense and uncertain!

FIFA23 finals in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League are just around the corner. This weekend gamers will be able to enjoy a lot of fun activities at Zagrebacki velesajam during the Reboot Gaming Weekend. A part of this event is the A1AL FIFA23 finals. In the finals for the title will fight Tarik Novo and Esad Memic. As a favorite, we asked Novo what are his expectations.

The finals of FIFA23 in A1AL are approaching. What are your expectations from this final?

I am very happy to finally attend the LAN Event after so many years of participation in the A1 Adria League. Finally, I will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with people I have only seen through the screen for years. I expect a lot, I believe that the organization will be at a very high level and I am looking forward to coming to Zagreb!

You lost the match against Esad in the upper bracket finals of the playoff, which would have given you a victory in the upcoming final. What happened, a drop in concentration or something else?

It was very tense and I can say that the little things made the difference, Esad coped much better in this match and I congratulate him once again on the match he played.

How was the decisive match against Fico in the final of the lower bracket? It was not an easy 2:0.

The match wasn’t easy, although it might not be so by the result, but I still managed to dominate the field and secure my way to Zagreb.

Despite Esad’s advantage, you are still the favorite to win the title. Considering that you have already done it four times in the past. Does that put a certain pressure on you, and do people have higher expectations for you to perform at the highest level in the finals because of your previous successes?

I would say that we are both favorites, considering that Eso has been present on the FIFA scene longer than me and for me he is the best player from Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is always a little pressure, but I think I function well under pressure. It is true that people expect a lot from me and that gives me even more motivation.

You and Esad have been meeting each other for many years in the A1 Adria League and you know each other’s playstyle very well. What do you expect from your opponent in the final? Maybe a change in tactics or a proven game plan?

I expect a very good game from Esad and I am sure that he will do his best. I believe that the final will be very tense and uncertain.

Finally, what do you want to say to Esad?

I wish Esad the best of luck in the final and may the better player win!

Ivanklar wins the fourth FIFA qualifier and makes it to groups!

The fourth and last FIFA23 qualifier in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League is finished, and we received our best eight players who will continue their battle for the title. The top 8 players are ready for the group stage in this season’s competition, and Ivanklar as the winner of the last qualifier is one of the contenders for the title.

FIFA group stage without Brstimir and Gruby

The rule of this year’s qualifiers it seems to have been “win a qualifier and secure the spot in groups”. For each qualifier, we saw a different player take a maximum of 100 points. This amount had been enough for all four players to make it to the next stage of the competition. As it was mentioned before, Hara (1st Q winner), Jakela (2nd Q winner), Tin Skrgatic (3rd Q winner), and now Ivan “Ivanklar 1903” Klaric, the winner of the fourth, all secured groups.

Besides them, the competition has been fierce, and the best indicator of that is the fact that players like Brstimir didn’t make it. The Serbian player didn’t show his usual performance, and with only 30 points was eliminated. Also, the defending FIFA champion Gruby failed to qualify for groups. Gruby was the runner-up in the 1st qualifier, and there he won 70 points. But after that, no more points came for the youngster, and he was ninth on the scoreboard, while eight make it further.

Excluding the four winners of the qualifiers, some other familiar names secure their spots in groups. Our four-time champion Tarik Novo gathered 110 points and finished in sixth position. Also, Esad1memic was showing determination again and secured himself a fourth place with 120 points. Great results were seen by FIFAFICO who is in second place with 130 points, just below the first seed Harun “Hara” Parla who accumulated 180 points.

The first round of the FIFA23 group stage will be played on May 5th.

Tin Škrgatić defeats Novo for 100 points in the 3rd FIFA qualifier!

The third FIFA23 qualifier in the A1 Adria League brought us the third different winner of 100 points and the bracket finals. So far Hara and Jakela both won one qualifier each and earned themselves 100 points and basically secured their spot in the group stage. On April 21st Tin “CLA_TH3Prod1gy” Škrgatić did the same.

Tin enters the top 3

Slow and steady we are getting closer to the start of the FIFA23 group stage in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League. Only one qualifier remains and judging by the points, some players are already securing their spots in the league. In the third qualifier, the best player was Tin “CLA_TH3Prod1gy” Škrgatić who defeated some well-known names in the regional A1AL. The first to fall under him was the winner of the first qualifier Harun “Hara” Parla, who was defeated in the second round. After Parla, he easily made his way to the finals where he battled with Tarik Novo, and successfully defeated the four-time champion of the league. With this performance, Tin reached the top three on the scoreboard, and his future in the A1 Adria League this season is looking bright.

On the other side, Tarik Novo also had a successful performance in this qualifier. He scored 70 points, as a runner-up, and now with 90 points overall is also in contention for a place in the group stage. Another name worth mentioning is Esad1memic who in two qualifiers secured third place, gathering 100 points overall (50+50). Hara and Jakela hold the first two places with 170, and 120 points respectively. In the top eight at this moment is the current FIFA champion Gruby. The youngster has 70 points, which he won in the first qualifier. Things are not looking good for last season’s runner-up Brstimir who only has 30 points, and needs to give his best in the last qualifier if he wants to advance further.

The last chance to earn points in FIFA23 qualifiers, players will have on April 28th. Sign up for that qualifier HERE!

Everything you need to know about the FIFA group stage in Season 10

FIFA qualifiers for the tenth season of the A1 Adria League are over! Among the fierce competition, eight players managed to secure their spot in the group stage.

The FIFA trio is back in Season 10

Tarik “Novo” Novo (amke) dominated the leaderboard in the qualifiers with 220 points. At this point, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Novo is confirming his spot as the best FIFA player in the region. In the upcoming season, we’ll be watching esad1memic and brstimir again, excellent players that were challenging Novo in previous seasons. Gruby managed to secure second place with overall 160 points and is looking really good going into the group stage. Hara grabbed third place with 130 points. The same amount that esad1memic has. Brstimir is just below them. The remaining three players are Sardinho213, Encika, and BrunoGuimaraes21. Every season we have at least one underdog that pops up into the scene and brings chaos amongst the favorites. Who will it be this season?

FIFA22 fourth qualifier standings

FIFA 23 is the name of the game

The playing field will be somewhat evened out a bit with a switch to the new FIFA game. The rest of Season 10 will be played on FIFA 23. Maybe that is the chance for other players to dethrone Novo. Players will have some time to adapt to the new game and build their teams. Every year at the same time we switch to the latest FIFA game, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise to any of the players or fans.

A1 Adria League Season 10 FIFA Schedule

Since we gave players some time to adjust to the new game we also made some changes to the schedule. Don’t worry, you can find the whole schedule below. FIFA will be played on Fridays (mostly). Except for the second round which will be played on Wednesday 12th of October. As per usual, all the games will be live-streamed on the A1 Adria League channels.

SWISS Round 2 – 12.10.2022., 20:00

SWISS Round 3 – 14.10.2022., 20:00

Top eight FIFA22 players ready for group stage; Novo in first place

After exciting and tense FIFA22 qualifiers, we have the best eight players for the 10th A1 Adria League season competing in the group stage for the top prize. Once again Tarik Novo is dominating the competition, he finished the qualifiers at the top with an overall of 220 points.

Gruby was victorious in the fourth qualifier

We are getting closer to starting the group stage in A1 Adria League. CS:GO and FIFA22 qualifiers are finished, and we have our competitors in both games. These qualifiers weren’t surprising, as almost all the favorites secured their spot in the League. The four-time champion Tarik “Novo” Novo dominated the qualifiers once again and secured first place with 220 points. He managed to win some of the qualifiers, as well as Brstimir who we saw being the most successful in the second one.

Many talented players joined the competition such as Gruby, Hara, Bruno, as well as some familiar names such as Encika, esad1memic, and many others. The fact that we had a tiebreaker for eighth place says how intense and close the last qualifier was. Namely, Bruno “BrunoGuimaraes21” Svetina and Đorđe “JasikFIFA” Cumbo had the same amount of points and fought for the last spot in the A1AL. In the end, it was Bruno who made it through with 75 points.

Aside from Novo who is ahead with 220 points, other players aren’t that far apart. Gruby is in second place with 160 points, while Hara and esad1memic both have 130 points. Below them are Brstimir and Sardinho213 who share 120 points. Needless to say that the next stage will be more exciting than ever.

It remains to be seen if any of these seven players have what it takes to take king Novo down from the throne. For the last two years, no one has been able to do it as Tarik took home four titles in a row. The FIFA22 group stage begins on October 7th.

Novo is FIFA champion for the fourth time in a row!

FIFA22 championship this year in A1 Adria League was as intense as ever. In the group stage, it seemed as though the king of FIFA Tarik Novo won’t be able to secure the playoff. But he did it in the last round, and in the playoffs dominated everyone in his path, winning his fourth consecutive title.

Novo – The undisputed A1AL champion

Whoever comes to challenge Novo in A1 Adria League goes home empty-handed. History repeated itself this season, as we have seen Tarik Novo win the title once again. Even though the Bosnian struggled throughout the group stage, he showed impeccable performance in the playoffs.

In the semifinals, Tarik was against the rookie player Mrky, while Esad had to defeat brstimir. The winners of the semifinals were Novo and brstimir who went on to fight in the upper bracket final, while Esad and Mrky fell down to the lower bracket. Novo had no problem defeating the Serbian player, and he did it with a 2:0 score. This led Novo to the grand finals where he waited for his opponent.

In the lower bracket the first match was played between Esad and Mrky, and Mrky was the one to go into the next stage of the competition, or the lower bracket final. Esad “esad1memic” Memić with this defeat was eliminated and finished the competition as fourth. In the lower bracket final the rookie of the season Marko “Mrky” Matančić defeated brstimir and made a big upset, seeing that brstimir was a huge favorite in this matchup. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac with the loss in the lower bracket final took third place.

The biggest surprise of the season Mrky had now reached the grand final and was about to go head to head with the three-time champion Novo. The matches were Bo5 and it was as intense as ever. Both players gave their best and never wavered. The final went to game 5, and in the end, the Bosnian player was just too good to be defeated. He justified the role of favorite, defended the title once again, and took his fourth in a row in the A1 Adria League.

  1. Tarik “Novo” Novo – 950€
  2. Marko “mrky2402” Matančić – 500€
  3. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac – 300€
