The first week of qualifiers has come to an end!

With CS:GO and FIFA finishing during the weekend, three of the four titles reached the end of the first set of qualifiers for the upcoming A1 Adria League season.

Brawl Stars

Over 80 teams signed up for the first Brawl Stars qualifiers. We saw familiar names in the Round of 16 with the Good Game Gold and Red teams securing a spot in the quarterfinals, while ULC eSports couldn’t outplay Never Surrender. FA Deadly were the better team in their match versus YouLose and Blue Whales managed to beat Old School.

Code Lyoko and FA Deadly couldn’t get past GG Gold and O9 Gang, respectively. ToDe05 and GG Red breezed past Blue Whales and MysteryWarriors secured the last spot in the semifinals. After two intense matches in the semis, both of Good Game’s teams advanced to the finals. A 3-1 victory for the Serbian side earned GG Red their first 100 points in the road to the playoffs.

Clash Royale’s only qualifier unfortunately got delayed because of problems inside the game. The qualifier will continue next Friday on the FACEIT platform.

FIFA

We had the chance to see familiar names in the first FIFA qualifier. Last season’s champion, esad1memic, convincingly secured his spot in the finals. JasikFifa and Harun met each other in the Round of 16 with the latter proceeding to the quarters. An interesting matchup happened between brstimir and amke2001 where the Serbian player managed to beat amke and enter the semifinal match versus Harun.

Even after a convincing win in his match against Aleksandar Djuric, Persunipzs wasn’t able to match up to esad1memic and ended the first qualifier in the fourth place. Harun had to play the third-place decider after a loss to brstimir who even beat the reigning champion, esad1memic, and won the first FIFA qualifier.

CS:GO

The first pair of open CS:GO qualifiers took place during the weekend. The best eight teams from this pair of qualifiers advanced to the closed qualifier that will take place during the next weekend. Three out of the eight participating teams will secure a spot in the sixth season of A1 Adria League, and the cycle will repeat for the next pair of qualifiers.

On Saturday we saw Karlo “KukaOG” Kukovec and peek me reach new heights and qualify for the closed qualifier. QSKE Gaming and Shock Bomb are now a step closer to the League after dominant victories against FREE KILL and Lemonsqueazy and the last team that secured a spot in the upcoming qualifier is Jan “jkXy” Konečnik’s Krsko squad.

After missing out on the first qualifier, Kristijan “kiLLeRa” Kukovski and GODZ1337 had no problems advancing to the closed qualifier. The Kosovar MiKS squad featuring names like vAloN and HYPER1 along with BUDI2 also entered the race for the three spots in the League. FREE KILL were the last team to end this qualifier victorious as they bested Wait Wait Wait on Inferno and Dust2 without any difficulties.

The Brawl Stars qualifiers are starting tomorrow!

The best Brawlers in the Adriatic region will meet once again in the first Brawl Stars qualifier. This season of A1 Adria League is much longer than the fifth one, so we will be hosting a total of 13 qualifiers for the players to participate in.

Just like in the fifth season, the qualifiers will be played on the FACEIT platforms. A total of 128 teams will be able to sign up in each qualifier. They will try to make their way through the single-elimination bracket while trying to place as high as possible to earn the most points available in that week.

Every week, the points will be split in the following matter:

  • First place – 100 points
  • Second place – 80 points
  • Third and fourth place – 60 points
  • Fifth to eight place – 35 points

These are the modes and the maps for the first qualifier:

Set 1: Gem Grab – Double Swoosh
Set 2: Siege – Olive Branch
Set 3: Heist – Hot Potato
Set 4: Bounty – Heat Wave
Set 5: Brawl Ball – Field Goal

You can visit the Brawl Stars game page to sign up for the qualifiers, or click HERE to participate in the first qualifier.

Are you ready for the sixth A1 Adria League Season?

The fifth season of A1 Adria League surprised us all. The new titles – Brawl Stars and FIFA really showed the potential of these games in our region and we are really happy that we chose to feature them. But now, after the season came to an end, it is finally time to announce the sixth season of the A1 Adria League.

Season 6 will be much longer than our previous season and it will have formats that will let us see even more high-quality matches. The prize pool has a massive increase compared to the fifth season, so we encourage everyone to sign up and try their best to win their share of rewards in this season. In the span of the next three months, we will watch the best FIFA, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, and CS:GO players in the biggest esports competition in our region.

Brawl Stars returns in the sixth Season!

During the last few months, we had the chance to watch the regional Brawlers battle it out in the first-ever A1 Adria League Brawl Stars season. The seven played qualifiers culminated in the double-elimination playoffs that saw the absolute favorites, Alpha Elite, be crowned the first Brawl Stars champions.

The sixth season will feature a similar format to the previous one. Instead of seven, we will now have 13 qualifiers from which the best eight teams will secure a spot in the offline finals. The total prize pool for this season will be €2.600, with the best team bringing home €1.000.

A1 Adria League S6 - Brawl Stars

Will Alpha Elite dominate the League once again, or will another team rise up and defeat the reigning champions – sign up and compete with the best

Clash Royale in the sixth season!

Six seasons of A1 Adria League, six seasons of Clash Royale! We will be stepping in the Arena once again after an amazing fifth season with even bigger awards for the best teams. We introduced the team system in Clash Royale in the last season, and the players loved it! The 1v1, 2v2, and KOTH modes let us see many more games being played than usual and PvtMole was there to entertain us and cast the games on an amazing level. In the end, Crusher Esports took the first place while Emperiial and Totem Esports followed at second and third, respectively.

Clash Royale will have the same prize pool as Brawl Stars. We will see a double round-robin format and the playoffs will once again feature the Gauntlet format. The five invited teams will be challenged by the best team from the qualifiers in the Arena. The group stage will last for 10 rounds and we will see the top four teams advance to the LAN finals. In case the offline finals are unable to take place due to quarantine measures, the playoffs will be played online.

FIFA in the sixth Season!

FIFA made its comeback as a featured game during the last season. The guys from the FIFA Balkan Community along with our staff did a great job of organizing the qualifiers and the playoffs. We saw a massive turn out from the players as everyone was excited to compete in the League and at the very end, esad1memic claimed the first prize. Jasik came close second and amke was the better player in the third-place decider.

As FIFA is a franchise that releases a new version of the game every year, our sixth season will be a bit different from the fifth one. We will have a total of nine qualifiers and three online playoffs series. First, the players will have a chance to compete in FIFA20 and at the end of August one player will secure a spot in the LAN finals. The second trio of qualifiers will be held during September which will see one more FIFA20 player advance to the offline event. As FIFA21 releases on the 6th of October, we will start the last trio of qualifiers on the 10th. The competitors will have their last chance at qualifying during the month of October and in the end, the last two players will earn their spot at the offline playoffs in Zagreb. FIFA will boast a prize pool of €2.150 and we are expecting to see even more players sign up and be a part of the qualifiers!

CS:GO in the sixth Season!

Just like Clash Royale, CS:GO has been with us since the very beginning of the League. The fifth season reminded us yet again of how exciting the regional CS:GO scene really is. lvlUP, Blink, QSKE, and GamerS1337 survived the SWISS Stage and advanced to the double-elimination playoffs. lvlUP played the playoffs with Luka “emi” Vuković and their coach Darko “soLo” Mitić and still managed to outplay their opponents and win the League. Blink came in second, while the Macedonian powerhouse, QSKE, finished as the third-best team of the season.

Blink and lvlUP, the top two sides from the fifth season will receive a direct invite for this upcoming season of the League. The remaining six teams will be decided by a combination of open and closed qualifiers. First, we will host two open qualifiers in which the best four teams from each will advance to the first closed qualifier. The closed qualifier will have a BO3 single-elimination format, and the best three teams will advance to the completely BO3 SWISS League. And if you thought that that is all, you are wrong – we have prepared €11.000 for the very best teams in the League to split between each other.

So, what are you waiting for? Call your AWPer, prepare your executions, and get to 16 before the other teams does!

WHILE WE ARE WAITING for the next season to start, be sure to tune in and watch the final edition of the A1 Gaming Weekend. There will be plenty of PES action during the upcoming weekend, so make sure to watch our stream!

Due to the current world pandemic, there is a possibility of the season six playoffs being played online. We are closely following the situation and the new measures in our region in order to ensure the safety of our staff and players. We are currently proceeding with the preparations as usual, but if anything changes, you will be informed on time. GLHF!

The Brawl Stars playoffs are starting tonight!

esad1memic and Alpha Elite snatch victories in the sixth qualifiers!

One more A1 Adria League qualifier is all that remains before we advance to the next stage of this season of the League. The favorites prevailed once again in the sixth qualifier and the leaderboard is now nearly completed.

Brawl Stars

Mayoi finished the sixth qualifier a bit earlier than usual, falling to FA Deadly in the quarterfinals. Mayoi are still second in the overall leaderboard, but Good Game have great chances of overrunning them and securing the second spot. Undefeated outplayed Crna ruka, while Good Game came out as the winners in their match versus Pekari. Alpha Elite remained undefeated and proceeded to the semifinals over Easy Win in the last match of the quarterfinals.

In the first semifinal, FA Deadly beat Undefeated without any problems and secured the first spot in the finals. The ex-Good Game 2 team, now playing as Alpha Elite, dominated the Good Game squad and once again entered the finals of the qualifier.

FIFA

After a win in the Round of 16, brstimir couldn’t get past arminho0307 and finished the sixth qualifier in the top 8. senozabac advanced to the quarterfinals but couldn’t beat rob1 who won this match after beating Hardi in his top 16 matchup. JasikFIFA and lexylexxx met in the fifth round after victories against Brunoh4545 and eldorado2912, respectively.

JasikFifa was the better football player in this game and advanced to the semifinals. In the Bosnian quarterfinal derby between amke2001 and esad1memic, we had the chance to see esad1memic outplay amke and secure the semifinal match against JasikFifa. esad1memic managed to breeze past Jasik, while in the other semifinal, rob1 bested arminho. At the end of the day, Jasik snatched the third place, while esad1memic finished the qualifier as the champion.

A1 Adria League S5 - FIFA Standings 6

rob1 and Alpha Elite continue dominating in the fifth qualifier!

Only two Brawl Stars & FIFA A1 Adria League qualifiers remain before the second stage of the League. Alpha Elite and rob1 once again destroyed the competition and further strengthened their place on the top of the leaderboard.

Brawl Stars

QSKE Gaming’s Brawl Stars team ended the fifth qualifier in the Round of 16 after a loss to FA Deadly. Good Game bested ULC eSports and Free Agents outplayed Team Placenici without much trouble. Banda Kasharit managed to breeze past Crna ruka, while Easy Win won their match versus APOLLO. In the quarterfinals of the qualifier Alpha Elite once again went to the semifinals after a victory against Banda Kasharit. FA Deadly won their duel against MarkoYouTube’s Free Agents and in the last quarterfinal match, Good Game advanced to the semis over Predators.

The first semifinal saw Alpha Elite take a 3-0 victory versus Easy Win. After Mayoi were eliminated earlier in the competition, this served as an ideal chance for Alpha Elite to finally take that first place on the leaderboard. FA Deadly had a stellar performance in their 3-1 victory versus Good Game and secured the second finals spot. Alpha Elite once again topped the qualifiers and added another 100 points next to their name.

Alpha Elite are now in the charge of the Brawl Stars leaderboard with 300 points while Mayoi are close second with 280. Free Agents and Good Game are still pretty close to the first two teams, with 270 and 235 points, respectively. Easy Win are close behind these two, while FA Deadly and So Bad are falling behind more and more every qualifier.

A1 Adria League - Brawl Stars Standings 5

FIFA

Last week’s finalist, JasikFIFA, was eliminated early in the Round of 16 by edenn95. The Montenegrin player ArsoDr beat Erminjamak and arminho0307 was the better player in his match against HRVoje-95. In the other, more notable matches brstimir managed to get past HarisBL, while Hardi ended this qualifier after a loss to esad1memic.

rob1 advanced to the semifinals with his victory versus edenn95. Harun came out as the better player in the Bosnian derby with esad1memic, while arminho0307 ended ArsoDr’s winning streak in the third quarterfinal. brstimir fell short to Cano 19 11 with the latter securing a matchup against arminho0307 in the semis.

rob1 won the second qualifier in a row after victories against Harun and arminho0307. Harun, who lost the semifinal match against rob1 managed to finish 3rd after a win versus Cano 19 11 in the third-place decider. With these A1 Adria League qualifiers coming to an end, rob1 currently stands strong with 250 points, with arminho coming second at 180.

A1 Adria League - FIFA Standings 5

Mayoi and rob1 claim the top in Brawl Stars and FIFA!

The fourth qualifier for the fifth season of A1 Adria League has drawn to a close and some of the teams and players in FIFA and Brawl Stars are starting to cement their top places on the leaderboard.

Brawl Stars

After falling short in the third qualifier, Predators managed to advance to the quarterfinals this time. Rookies were better than THE GOOD FIGHTE while Easy Win didn’t have any problems in their match against So Bad. Lavvek’s Good Game team bested Come Back and right after them, the former Good Game 2 and Free Agents players, now playing as Alpha Elite, beat Banda Kasharit in their matchup.

In this qualifier’s quarterfinals, Rookies secured a spot in the semifinals while Easy Win couldn’t get past Good Game. Alpha Elite beat their ex-teammate and the rest of Free Agents and ULC eSports finished their qualifier journey in the quarterfinals again, after a loss to Mayoi.

Rookies’ great streak came to an end in the semifinal where they faced Good Game. Blarneyy & Rookies couldn’t beat the experienced guys from Good Game and they finished this qualifier at 3rd-4th. Alpha Elite breezed past Mayoi in the semifinals and with their final victory versus Good Game, they won a second consecutive qualifier, earning 100 more points.

One of the more interesting matches in the Round of 16 was the FIFAFICO versus Harun matchup where surprisingly, Harun took the win and eliminated FIFAFICO from this qualifier. rob1 bested arminho0307 while Persunipzs was better than Erminjamak. In the quarterfinals, Jasik outplayed Persunipzs and amke2001 advanced to the semis past Harun. rob1 managed to beat senozabac while esad1memic ended Sko_gbo5’s semifinal dreams.

A1 Adria League Qualifiers 4 - FIFA Standings

CS:GO qualifiers draw to a close; Brawl Stars and FIFA20 continue!

During the previous week we saw the last CS:GO qualifiers in which we got the remaining four teams for the SWISS League, while Brawl Stars and FIFA had their third qualifier played with more points split between the best teams.

CS:GO

In the third CS:GO qualifier we saw familiar faces make it through to the League. The former Juggernauts player, Luka “c0llins” Živanović secured one of the spots along with his team, Shock Bomb. On the other side of the bracket, QSKE Gaming played a mixed squad containing some of the most famous names in the region, COLOMBIANA. The Macedonian squad managed to breeze past Nemanja “sarenii” Šarenac and COLOMBIANA and take the sixth spot in the upcoming season of A1 Adria League.

The last chance for qualifying was on Sunday when we saw the mix team karavan and the current A1 Adria League champions, Juggernauts, take the two remaining spots. karavan had a really intense match against eSportsKosova in the semifinal, but they managed to slip past their opponents after two overtimes. Juggernauts, on the other side, showed everyone that the champions are back, and even with a new player in David “devoduvek” Dobrosavljević had no problems against the competition.

Brawl Stars

One of the best teams from the previous two qualifiers, Good Game, got upset and eliminated from Crna ruka in their Round of 16 match. GetRekt got wrecked by So Bad, while Alpha Elite managed to get past Banda Kasharit. The modified Free Agents squad lost a tight 2-3 game against FA Deadly and Mayoi secured a spot in the quarterfinals in their match against Predators.

So Bad bested Crna Ruka and Good Game 2 outplayed ULC eSports in the first two quarterfinal games. Come Back had a clean victory against Sabasniper’s Deadly Black squad and in the last game, Mayoi secured a spot as one of the best four teams in the qualifier again.

Good Game 2 definitely had a great run in the third qualifier and a victory versus So Bad earned a spot in the finals for the second Good Game squad. After finishing second in the previous qualifier, Mayoi repeated history once again and finished the third qualifier in second place, after a loss to the newly-formed Good Game 2.

A1 Adria League S5 Qualifiers - Brawl Stars Standings

FIFA 20

esad1memic and Harun won their Round of 16 matches against Aki and Hardi, respectively. Persunipzs rob1 bested macer maci while brstimir advanced to the quarterfinals with a clean win versus Erminjamak. Week one’s champion, FIFAFICO was eliminated by Persunipzs, finishing the third qualifier at 9th-16th and discoluzer didn’t let Tamur_gbo98 get to the quarterfinals.

Persunipzs won his match against discoluzer with ease and at the same time, brstimir fell short to rob1. Harun beat his countryman, esad1memic, while HarisBL secured a W versus Privaty01 in the upper part of the bracket.

HarisBL couldn’t outplay Harun so he fell to the third-place decider match, while in the other semifinal, rob1 managed to beat Persunipzs and qualify for the events final. In the Grand Final of the third qualifier, the Serbian player rob1 came out as the better player and earned the grand 100 points from this week’s qualifier.

A1 Adria League S5 Qualifiers - FIFA Standings

A sudden shuffle caused trouble for a number of Brawl Stars teams

While we were preparing for the third Brawl Stars qualifier, a massive shuffle happened involving some of the current top teams as well as the first-placed team on the A1 Adria Brawl Stars standings – Free Agents.

Good Game formed a second Brawl Stars division

As the first two qualifiers passed, some teams started putting themselves on the leaderboard on their way to the Second Stage of the League. Free Agents, in particular, dominated the whole competition in both the qualifiers, earning themselves all of the 200 possible points. And just like that, everything changed…

Good Game and their current roster are currently fourth on the Brawl Stars standings with a total of 95 points. With the great game they have been showing in recent times, their chances of qualifying are looking great. Even while fielding a great squad, Good Game love the competition A1 Adria League brings so they decided to form a second team.

While one more team in the qualifiers is a great thing for the players, followers, and the League, when it consists of a mix of players from other teams, it can become a problem. The so-called “poaching” of a single player doesn’t impact a team that much, but when you take the core of the team away, it could really become troublesome for the poached side.

Good Game 2 consists of players from Easy Win, No Name, and most notably Free Agents. Easy Win are currently third with 120 points and No Name occupies the fifth place with 80 points, but they will have to continue their qualification road without Ew_Ciro and DzonDzonO, respectively. The real problems come with the two ex-Free Agents’ players, Andreybs_ and ToDe05, who will be finalizing the second Good Game team.

Problems arise for the Free Agents squad

At the moment where the majority of the active players leave the team, the minority that is still playing is left with the current points, but their points stay unchanged. If the players who left the team earn points while playing for another squad, the minority from their previous squad, or what is left from Free Agents, lose all their earned points. This will most certainly be the case for Marko, who is the only active player left in Free Agents, judging by the quality of the players in Good Game 2.

When asked about the current situation, Marko didn’t try to hide his frustration and said that the remaining members of Free Agent will not continue playing the qualifiers, while also mentioning his plans for quitting competitive Brawl Stars. He told me that Andrey had disagreements with the rest of the team and he left in order to further develop, even though Marko believes the team was good enough and they could keep going with the roster they had at the time. The Free Agents player also thinks that Good Game will not equally focus on both teams, but that the second squad was formed in order to destroy the competition and make the matches easier for their main division.

The new Good Game 2 team consists of:

rs DzonDzonO
hr Andreybs_
rs EW_Ciro
rs ToDe05

*MarkoYouTube changed his decision and will continue to play in the third Brawl Stars qualifier along with a modified Free Agents squad. Seeing as two out of the four Free Agents players are still part of the roster, Free Agents will keep their current points.
