Novo: I believe that the finals will be very tense and uncertain!

FIFA23 finals in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League are just around the corner. This weekend gamers will be able to enjoy a lot of fun activities at Zagrebacki velesajam during the Reboot Gaming Weekend. A part of this event is the A1AL FIFA23 finals. In the finals for the title will fight Tarik Novo and Esad Memic. As a favorite, we asked Novo what are his expectations.

The finals of FIFA23 in A1AL are approaching. What are your expectations from this final?

I am very happy to finally attend the LAN Event after so many years of participation in the A1 Adria League. Finally, I will have the opportunity to meet and socialize with people I have only seen through the screen for years. I expect a lot, I believe that the organization will be at a very high level and I am looking forward to coming to Zagreb!

You lost the match against Esad in the upper bracket finals of the playoff, which would have given you a victory in the upcoming final. What happened, a drop in concentration or something else?

It was very tense and I can say that the little things made the difference, Esad coped much better in this match and I congratulate him once again on the match he played.

How was the decisive match against Fico in the final of the lower bracket? It was not an easy 2:0.

The match wasn’t easy, although it might not be so by the result, but I still managed to dominate the field and secure my way to Zagreb.

Despite Esad’s advantage, you are still the favorite to win the title. Considering that you have already done it four times in the past. Does that put a certain pressure on you, and do people have higher expectations for you to perform at the highest level in the finals because of your previous successes?

I would say that we are both favorites, considering that Eso has been present on the FIFA scene longer than me and for me he is the best player from Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is always a little pressure, but I think I function well under pressure. It is true that people expect a lot from me and that gives me even more motivation.

You and Esad have been meeting each other for many years in the A1 Adria League and you know each other’s playstyle very well. What do you expect from your opponent in the final? Maybe a change in tactics or a proven game plan?

I expect a very good game from Esad and I am sure that he will do his best. I believe that the final will be very tense and uncertain.

Finally, what do you want to say to Esad?

I wish Esad the best of luck in the final and may the better player win!

Season 11 in the A1 Adria League is coming to an end. The group stage is officially over, and the teams in multiple games are ready to compete for the top prize, the title, and the right to call themselves the best. Who will win the 11th season in FIFA, BS, and CS:GO find out this weekend in Zagreb!

Zero Tenacity is one step closer to defending the title

Four best teams in this CS:GO seasons were Jake Bube, Portugal, Zero Tenacity, and Infernus Esports. Only two have made it to the finish line, and their battle will be held at Zagrebacki velesajam during a Reboot Games Weekend event. Zero Tenacity once again secured a place in the finals, winning by a considerable margin against team Infernus Esports. Z10 was dominant on both maps, with scores of 16:6 on Mirage and 16:2 on Nuke. As expected of them, they justified the role of favorites.

The second finalist is team Jake Bube. Suppose I might say a slight surprise over team Portugal who had a well-known name in the region DEPRESHN in their roster. Jake Bube played solid two matches, winning with the same result, 16:13 on Mirage and Inferno. The battle in the finals will be tense, but the advantage has to be given to Zero Tenacity as the defenders of the title and last year’s champions.

Novo is back for the fifth FIFA title.

We witnessed an exciting FIFA23 competition in this season of A1AL. Novo, Esad, Fico, and Marec are the best four players coming out victorious. Many familiar names again at the end, and only two will have the chance to battle for the title at the LAN event in Zagreb. Esad and Novo got 2:0 wins against their opponents in the semifinals. Esad bested Fico, while Novo was better than Marec.

Esad and Novo battled it out in the winner bracket’s finals, with Esad as the victor. He defeated Novo with a 2:1 score. Thus Novo fell to the loser bracket, where he had to beat Fico, who previously eliminated Marec in the lower bracket semifinals. Novo defeated Fico with a 2:1 score and got a chance for revenge against Esad.

In the best-of-five match, Novo will have his shot against Esad in the finals. Since Esad won the winner bracket finals, he will have a win advantage in the grand finals.

The second title for Esad or the fifth one for Novo?

Salada and Menace in the BS finals

This season one of our previous main games, Brawl Stars, had a different format. Instead of competition lasting throughout the whole season, Brawlers battled it out in two qualifiers. played on May 25th and June 1st. The two best teams who came out victorious out of the qualifiers are Salada de Frutas, now just Frutas, and Menace2Society.

Frutas was dominant in the first qualifier; they even eliminated their opponents in the upcoming finals Menace2Society, and some familiar names in the region, such as Jazavci, La Aquilla, etc. In the second qualifier, with Frutas out of the way, Menace2Society got their chance to qualify, which they did.

The finals will be tense in the Brawl Stars competition since former teammates will now be opponents. Namely, Decai, who won the BS tournament with Omerta last year, had Protic as his teammate. Protic is now a part of Menace2Society, while Decai plays for Frutas. Don’t miss the action this weekend in Zagreb!

Entropiq won the PUBG title.

One of the mini-tournaments played recently was in PUBG. Once again, the favorites were clear, and they bested the competition once again to defend the title for the second time. So far, we had three PUBG tournaments in three seasons in the A1 Adria League, and all three went into the hand of Entropiq. This team is a well-known name in both regional and worldwide tournaments. The best player in the 11th season of A1AL was Lukarux, who won the MVP prize.

Opusti se and Portugal are the last to join the TOP 8 in CS:GO!

On Sunday, April 30th, the last CS:GO qualifier was played. We finally got the best eight CS:GO teams that will be competing in the SWISS group stage in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League. The last two teams that were victorious in a qualifier were Opusti se and Portugal.

Here are the top 8 CS:GO teams!

The biggest tournament in the A1 Adria League has always been in Vavle’s FPS game. This season is no different, except for the prize pool, which is now 7000 euros. The best eight teams who will be fighting for this prize pool and the title of the best regional team are Infernus, Confusee, team-one, Glory4, JESTE, Opusti se, Portugal, and the current title defenders Zero Tenacity. Z10 is the biggest favorite to win the whole thing obviously, but not just because they are defending the title, but for the excellent performance they are constantly showing.

One of the serious contenders for the title is team Glory4 where the best regional players have gathered. Andr1xx, sarenii, and c0llins will, under the leadership of Mladen Juric, try to make it to the top. It remains to be seen if they will be successful, but now the real battle begins. The one big name we won’t be seeing this season is Blink, whose CS:GO team just got disbanded.

In the last qualifier, however, the teams that got the last two places in the group stage are Opusti se and Portugal. They bested the competition and rightfully found their place in the top 8. In the decider matches Portugal was better than Klan RUR with a 2:1 overall score. Klan RUR managed to take one map for themselves, but DEPRESHN’s team was at the end of the day better. On the other side of the bracket, Opusti se got an easy win against DopaminersGG with 16:14 on Mirage, and 16:6 on Inferno.

The CS:GO group stage will begin on May 7th, so don’t miss the action!

TT9 Chico is the A1AL Fortnite champion!

One by one the mini-tournaments in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League are ending. Only two are left, PUBG, and the last is yet to be revealed. On April 25th and 26th, the qualifiers and the finals were played in the Fortnite tournament. Out of 263 players, only 100 made it to the finals. Of those 100 players, the one that came out victorious is TT9 Chico.

Big names in A1AL Fortnite; TT9 Chico justified the role of favorite

Of the 100 players that appeared in the finals, 70 made it there throughout the qualifiers, while 30 got an invite. As it was mentioned a lot of well-known Fortnite players showcased their skills in the regional league, A1AL. Besides TT9 Chico, who was a favorite for winning the tournament which he evidently did, and brought home a prize of 250 euros. Some other familiar and professional Fortnite players were competing in this tournament. Trulex, T3eny, and Quaesy are just some of the names who participated in this tournament. Queasy alone currently ranks as the best player in the world and was declared the best IGL player.

Here is the top 5 ranking after the Fortnite finals:

  • TT9 Chico (231 points)
  • CN messie goat (194 points)
  • Dz1da (187 points)
  • CN Drda (182 points)
  • Queasy (180 points)

It wasn’t just that TT9 Chico won the tournament, but he also had the most kills in the whole tournament with 26 eliminations. Another big achievement “the most kills in a single game” went into the hands of T3eny (14 kills), who unfortunately didn’t make it to the top 5. Maybe the biggest surprise of the tournament was Trulex. This player is one of the best Fortnite players in both the region and worldwide, but he didn’t show his usual performance.

In the end, in spite of this godlike competition, TT9 Chico managed to get 26 eliminations in the whole tournament, gather as many as 231 points, and take home the trophy and the right to call himself the best.

 

Confusee and team-one make it to the CS:GO group stage!

Two CS:GO qualifiers are already finished, where the four teams secured the group stage in the 11th A1 Adria League season. We saw 47 teams competing for their spot in the next stage, while only two best reached their goal. Teams Confusee and team-one bested their competition and joined the winners of the 1st qualifier Zero Tenacity and Infernus.

Confusee enters the league with a comeback

One more week has passed, and one more qualifier in the CS:GO competition has been played. This week, on April 16th, two more teams made it to the group stage of A1AL, Confusee, and team-one. Needless to say, the competition was fierce, considering we had almost 50 registered teams. We also saw a couple of familiar names, such as Blink. Gulito and his team didn’t make it far, they were eliminated in the second round.

However, the ones that did make it into the top four and the decider matches were Confusee who was battling team MYE, and team-one and their opponents ZIEKIPA. The first battle between Confusee and MYE was an absolute banger. MYE took the first game on Inferno with a dominating win with a 16:4 score. Bob was a force to be reckoned with on mid with his AWP, and his performance led his team to victory. Unfortunately, their success didn’t last long. At the beginning of the second map, Confusee takes the steering wheel in their hands and dominates their opponents. The score on Mirage was 16:10, while the situation on the third and deciding map was really close. Both teams gave their best on Ancient, but when Confusee took the CT side, they won eight rounds in a row, cementing their win, and making it to the group stage.

On the other side of the bracket, the match between team-one and ZIEKIPA was finished after just one map. 16:7 on Anubis, and a forfeit on the second map brought team-one their spot in the groups.

R6 teams Bob the Builder and DamjanBotFrag join the league!

The third Rainbow Six Siege qualifier brought us two more teams in the group stage of the 11th season of the A1 Adria League. So far, four teams secured the spot in the group stage, NORM TIPS, 5 Big Guys, Homies in Paris, and EU45th Gremlins. The ones that joined them on April 15th are Bob the Builder and DamjanBotFrag.

Only one qualifier and two spots left

The third Rainbow Six Siege qualifier had, like the previous one, slightly fewer teams than the first one. In the third, we saw only five registered teams, who wanted to compete for the spot in the regional league.

Due to the generation of the bracket, the teams BobTheBuilder, ImalTanje, and DamjanBotFrag immediately got a pass to the decider matches, while bottomG Esports and HelmofAwe were supposed to play their best-of-one match on the ClubHouse map, where BottomG easily defeated their opponents with a score of 7:1.

The first decider match took place on the stream between teams Bob The Builder and bottomG Esports. The first map was again ClubHouse where bottomG hoped to repeat the result of the previous match, but Bob the Builder gave them a nasty surprise with a score of 7:2. On the second map, Bob The Builder went to Chalet for another win, this time with a 7:1 score that secured their entry into the regional league. Turkish-Hungarian duo Swisswga and broky collected 39 frags together in 17 rounds played.

The second match was supposed to take place between the ImalTanje and DamjanBotFrag teams, but the ImalTanje team did not gather and DamjanBotFrag will join the league without firing a single shot. We remember this team under the name “NotReady” from the first qualifier where the bottomG esports team kicked them out.

The fourth and last qualifier for Rainbow Six Siege in A1AL will be played next week, April 22nd. This is the last chance to enter the league, so don’t miss it and sign up for the qualifier HERE!

Hara takes down Gruby in the first FIFA qualifier and earns 100 points!

The first FIFA23 qualifier has ended in favor of Harun “Hara” Parla who defeated the current FIFA champion Marko “Gruby” Grubisic. Out of 180 players Hara managed to get to the top of the competition and earn himself 100 points. Gruby in second place got 70 points, which was also a really good start to the tournament.

Hara wins the first FIFA qualfier

As you already know FIFA competition in the A1 Adria League has four qualifiers, where the players compete in order to earn as many points as they can. In the end, the best eight players, with the most points and best performance are entering the league and the group stage.

The first qualifier was really interesting to watch, and we saw some familiar names again. Brstimir, Gruby, Hara, Esad1memic, Tarik Novo, arminho, and many others all entered the competition, while some unfamiliar players also showed promising performances.

Like last year Gruby was once again better than Tarik Novo, this time in the fifth round when the former got a win and advanced further in the competition reaching the finals. Hara, his opponent in the finals, is an old A1AL player and he also took down big names such as Esad1memic and arminho. In the grand finals, it was Parla who was better, and in the decider match, he snatched a win on the penalties, making it 2:1 in the overall score.

The match for third place was played between Armin “arminho” Hasanbegovic and Filip “FIFAFICO” Babic, and Fico came out victorious and earned himself 50 points, while Arminho got 40.

The second FIFA23 qualifier is scheduled for next week, April 14th, when the players will fight for even more points and a chance to play with the best regional players. If you still haven’t signed up for it you can do it HERE!

VALORANT is the second mini-tournament that A1AL is hosting!

As we have announced recently the 11th A1 Adria League season is gonna be more exciting and with way more games. So far, we have introduced three standard games that will be played during this season. Apart from that, six more mini-tournaments are coming to A1 Adria League. After League of Legends, which was already revealed, we are here to present you the second mini-tournament in Riot’s other game, VALORANT!

This is the first season where we will have tournaments played for and throughout only one day. There will be fierce competition, and if you want to win the prize and become the new VALORANT champion sign up and get ready to clutch your way to the title. The VALORANT mini-tournament will be held on April 13th so there is still plenty of time to gather your team and prepare for the legendary battle that awaits you.

There will be no qualifiers for this tournament, so all you have to do is sign up and start competing. The bracket will be single elimination so there is no place for mistakes. The matches will be bo1, while the grand finale will be played in a best-of-three format. The prize pool for VALORANT will be 1000 euros, and the winner will get his share of 600, while the second and third place will win 300 and 100 euros, respectively.

The start of the new A1 Adria League season, the 11th iteration of this tournament, is just around the corner. We are back with more games, exciting matches, and more fun. As it was years before, FIFA23 is a constant game in our league. This year won’t be any different so all FIFA enjoyers, fans, and players get ready, because you can already sign up for the qualifiers, and start your journey to the throne!

Not much has changed in the format for this particular game. Old contestants in A1 Adria League are already familiar with its concepts, but here is how it works for all you new rookie players. Like the previous season, the FIFA23 competition will start off with four open qualifiers, where all the players will be able to gather as many points as they can and manage to go further in the tournament as a higher seed as possible. After the qualifiers, from all the signed-up players only eight will have a chance to continue their road to the big trophy. The competition will be tough, so don’t make many mistakes, and play your best style from the beginning of the tournament!

Eight qualified players will then enter the SWISS group stage, after which the best four will advance. That is when the final competition will take place, as will these best four players battle for the Champion title and the prize pool of 2,300€.

The qualifiers are scheduled to take place on April 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th, so there is still time to perfect your tactics and game style.
