Omerta lose the deciding match against OKA Gaming!

Omerta have lost all chances of qualifying for the Clash of Leagues playoffs after yesterday’s defeat versus OKA Gaming.

Since the double playday when Omerta split the prey, winning one and losing one match, their chances of reaching the next stage of the Clash of Leagues were slim to none. After yesterday, however, even that slight chance is gone. The first of three matches Omerta would have had to win in order to qualify for the playoffs didn’t end in favor of the regional team. OKA Gaming proved too tough of an opponent to beat and Omerta fell to sixth place after the match came to an end.

BIG are the absolute best team in the group stage with a 12-0 W-L ratio. The runners-up team is Crystal Gaming Red, while OKA Gaming are tied with CGR but take up third place. Bulgarian Pros stand in fourth place, and after them, we can see KMRGMR and Omerta with 6 points each. The seventh place is occupied by FreeWin, while the disqualified side, papahellfans, takes the bottom place on the leaderboard. The teams have a break that will last a couple of days and we will be back with more Brawl Stars action on the 10th of August.

Omerta split the prey in Clash of Leagues: Super Week!

Two rounds of the Clash of Leagues came to an end in only one day filled with action-packed Brawl Stars action.

Each team played two matches today. BIG once again proved their worth with two 2-0 victories. Their victims were Crystal Gaming Red and FreeWin. Crystal Gaming Red were better than KMRGMR, and the latter lost their second match as well. This time, their opponent was our regional squad, Omerta. While they said that KMRGMR were going to be the tougher opponents, Omerta actually achieved a better result versus this team.

Omerta were placed against Bulgarian Pros in their other match. This time, they weren’t so successful and the Bulgarian side beat them without losing a set. A loss and a win for Omerta now puts the team in 5th place on the Clash of Leagues leaderboard. In order to advance to the playoffs, Omerta have a difficult task ahead of them. To place among the best three teams, Omerta would have to win every match until the end of the group stage.

You can watch this Clash of Leagues playday that included two rounds below:

papahellfans fall short to Omerta in the second round!

After suffering a defeat in their opening match, the Serbian team delivered in Round 2 and defeated the Belorussian squad papahellfans!

The second round of the Clash of Leagues confirmed BIG’s role as favorites in the group stage. Once again, the German squad had a convincing 2:0 win, this time against KMRGMR, and is now sitting comfortably on the very top of the leaderboard. BIG played versus one of the qualified teams for the league. Right next to BIG on the leaderboard are Bulgarian Pros. This trio who defeated papahellfans in Round 1, went against Crystal Gaming Red and scored a 2:1 win. Both BIG and Bulgarian pros have six points, the only difference between the teams being that BIG has yet to lose a set in the league.

Omerta stated that their matches after the first round were going to be a lot easier. And it seems that they were right. papahellfans were no match for our second regional team in the League. Bogdan & co. dominated papahellfans and are now standing firmly in fourth place. Just like last time, the last match was a duel between two qualified teams. FreeWin and OKA Gaming battled it out to end this amazing day of Brawl Stars. While FreeWin certainly gave their best, they were no match for OKA Gaming who bested them 2:0.

“We played against a team that is not as known on the European scene as BIG but in their region they are, they were 2nd in their league, they got a place in the group stage, and they are certainly not to be underestimated. It wasn’t easiest in the beginning of the match, as it is always hard to break the ice with that first win that we definitely need for our confidence and to continue competing in the Clash of Leagues if we want to reach that final stage. There was still a cramp in some games which is quite normal but after the win it is definitely easier to breathe and we got a certain dose of confidence to continue the competition. We have already looked at where we made mistakes in the match and how to correct them. In the next match, you can expect us in an even better edition.” – said the Omerta players after the match

The next round of the Clash of Leagues is set to start on the 3rd of August. In the meantime, take the time to (re)watch Omerta and the second playday:

Omerta: “BIG are too strong, we should have more chances in future matches.”

Clash of Leagues Day 1 is now comfortably behind us, with the favourites securing most of the wins in their opening matches.

BIG managed to overpower the regional team after only two modes. Omerta tried their best, but the German squad was eager to take the victory, and they did it. lule_andjelko, Bogdan, and Niko will look for their first victory elsewhere, while BIG are now a step closer to reaching the final stage of the tournament. Next up, Bulgarian Pros and Papahellfans clashed! The Bulgarian team which competes in the A1 Gaming League had an easy time against their opponents and defeated them 2-0.

The third game of the day was once again a sweep. Crystal Gaming Red faced OKA Gaming, one of the teams that qualified via the International Qualifier. OKA were powerless against CGR and joined Omerta and Papahellfans as the losers of the first Clash of Leagues playday. KMRGMR and FreeWin, two teams that qualified for the tournament along with OKA Gaming met each other on the very first day of the group stage. Both teams won a set, but in the end, KMRGMR was the team that reached number 2 first and secured their first win.

The second playday is set to be played out on the 30th of July. Make sure to follow us on social media and stay updated with any news concerning the Clash of Leagues.

We contacted the Omerta players after their match against BIG came to an end:

“We played against BIG who are one of the favourites not only for passing the groups, but for winning the whole event. Of course, BIG were the favourites in our match and we should have offered more resistance, especially during the Heist set where we simply didn’t leave our base because of their constant pressure. We didn’t leave the base and couldn’t do anything while attacking. During our defence, we held our own for a couple of minutes, but after that BIG took control of the game and defeated us.
In the first Hot Zone match, we had an idea to go really aggressive with Edgar, Buzz, and Bibi and to try to split them apart using constant pressure that these Brawlers offer with their abilities, but unfortunately, we totally missed our picks even though we knew that we were either going to guess the matchup or miss it. It was a high-risk, high-reward decision and we drew the short straw. In our second match, we had a good matchup but we made a couple of small mistakes that we shouldn’t make versus teams like BIG who exploited them and punished us severely. This defeat wasn’t hard on us because we knew that BIG are currently one of the best teams in the EMEA region and we have tried our best. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t be sad or disappointed because we played against the strongest opponent already and now we have matches against opponents that we think we can defeat. Our focus is on the next match, we already started with the preparations and we hope to have our first win in the second round!”

Clash of Leagues

Three teams complete the Clash of Leagues list!

The international Brawl Stars tournament which is set to begin on the 27th of July now has the names of all of its participants. It is time to start the Clash of Leagues!

During the previous weekend, teams from all countries of the CEE region competed in the international qualifiers for a spot in the Clash of Leagues. Only three teams were needed to fill the spots and play with the best teams of Central & Eastern Europe, and we got them. Namely, the German scene had a particularly great event with great success in the qualifiers. When it comes to the regional teams, a number of them competed in the qualifiers with and achieved good results, but unfortunately, it was not enough.

Immortal Balkan Blue and Black were some of those teams. neca’s geng and Talibani s baustele represtented the region as well. The fourth-placed team of the seventh A1 Adria League season, Mayoi, had a great run in the lower bracket, but couldn’t go all the way and was only two wins shy of qualifying for the tournament. Immortal Balkans Black played in the final winners round, lost, and were sent to the lower bracket. There, they lost to Talibani s bauštele, who were powerless against FreeWin. The teams that qualified in the upper bracket were KMRGMR and OKA Gaming.

Clash of Leagues

Now that we know the teams, the main part of the league can start. On the 27th of July, we are going to watch the first day of the group stage which is set to last until the 13th of August. The very next days, the quarterfinals start and the action will get better and better each day until the Grand Finals.

Since a majority of the Noble Elite Red and BLK players were under the required age of 16, the two teams combined their players into one squad, while the second regional slot will be claimed by Omerta.

Brawlers, get ready for the Clash of Leagues!

A1 is hosting an international Brawl Stars league that will take place from July up until August and will feature the best teams from 15 European countries.

Clash of Leagues will cover Central and East Europe and will include participants from five regional leagues as well as teams that qualify from the international qualifiers. A1 Adria League‘s winners, Noble Elite BLK secured a direct spot in the finals and besides them, the winners of four other leagues in this region will have a spot in the final stage of the league. Those leagues are the A1 Esports League, A1 Gaming League, VOKA League, and Swisscom Hero League.

These five leagues cover a territory with more than 140 million citizens, so we are expecting a huge turnout for the Clash of Leagues. While the winners are going to the finals, the second-placed sides will have to fight for their respective spots in the group stage. Five second-placed teams will be joined by three teams from the international qualifiers in an epic group stage which will secure three spots in the final phase.

Clash of Leagues Format

The CEE region had produced and keeps producing priceless Brawl Stars talent. On July 24th, these players and teams will have a chance of a lifetime to qualify for the Clash of Leagues and show their skills on the international Brawl Stars scene. When the three qualified sides are decided, we will watch a three-week-long journey to the final stage of the league. Besides the countries of the Adria region, teams from Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, and Switzerland will be eligible to participate in the qualifiers as well.

It has been a great year for Brawl Stars so far. The esports scene of Supercell’s arena brawler has seen many great tournaments, in the region as well as worldwide. After the success of seasons 5 & 6, A1 Adria League’s seventh season saw weeks of action-packed Brawl Stars matches between the best teams in the region. Everything culminated this Wednesday during the playoffs when Noble Elite BLK outplayed their opponents and were crowned champions of the region. We will watch them, as well as this season’s runner-ups (Noble Elite Red) in the Clash of Leagues.

Registration for the qualifiers will open on July 5th. More information about the format of the league as well as the international qualifiers will be available in the coming weeks.

Who will be our new Brawl Stars champions?

Brawl Stars finals are here – let’s see the teams that will be competing for the main prize and champions title!

Noble Elite BLK & POINT.Gaming

Noble Elite BLK started the season with a default win over QSKE Gaming who were forced to forfeit their first match. In the second round, they managed to best Tora Gold and win with a convincing 3:0 win. With this victory, they were only a win away from the playoffs, and they did it – in Round 3, Mayoi fell short to BLK!

Their opponents in the first playoffs round, POINT.Gaming (Lil Surprise), had a much harder road to the playoffs. POINT.Gaming were a step away from elimination but they held their ground – their win versus Tora Gold secured them one of the final two playoffs spots. POINT.Gaming and Noble Elite BLK will battle it out on Wednesday, starting at 19:00.

Mayoi & Noble Elite Red

While Mayoi were a part of the 2:0 pool along with Noble Elite BLK, they soon came to play for survival in the fifth round. An intense SWISS stage for the team culminated in the last round where they faced 09 Gang for the final spot. The final match went to all five maps and in the end, Mayoi were victorious!

This Mayoi victory paired them up against Noble Elite Red, who already beat the former in the group stage. The 2-1 SWISS round saw Mayoi suffer a heavy 0-3 loss from Noble Elite Red. On the other hand, Red’s only defeat came at the hands of Tora Gold, in Round 1. Their road starts right after the first match comes to an end, so make sure to tune in on time!
