We are less than a month away from the start of the 10th season of the A1 Adria League! What can you expect out of the jubilee 10th season?

Not a lot of esports competitions manage to get to the tenth edition. It’s been a long ride but we are far from done! Season 10 of the A1 Adria League will bring in some changes. Some for the players, and some for the fans. Let’s start with the things that will remain the same. Again, we will have seven games. Titles you already know will be mixed with some we recently introduced and some totally new. Sounds exciting right? We’re sticking with the tradition. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA 22, and Brawl Stars will once again be a part of the League. League of Legends and PUBG Battlegrounds are coming back as well. The remaining two games will be revealed soon enough. You didn’t think we’ll tell you everything right away, right?
There will be no significant changes to the prize pools despite the current situation. Regarding the finals and the question everyone wants to be answered – will there be LAN or are we going back to the Reboot Online Games Week? For now, we will keep it to ourselves. Formats will mostly stay the same with some minor changes but nothing to worry about. The qualifiers will kick off at the start of September so start practicing.
Regarding the fans, the most important part of the League, we prepared more activities than ever to keep you entertained between and during the matches. So stick around! A1 Gaming Weekend Rocket League
Rocket League has its place in esports, and there is an excellent reason for it. Plenty of fun for both competitive and casual players. We want to see all of you play and have fun during the A1 Gaming Weekend Rocket League. The only requirement is that you’re from one of the countries in the Adria region: Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, or Slovenia. Just as it is in the A1 Adria League.
Sign-ups are open and free. You can already sign up here. The format will be double elimination and every team is allowed to have three players and one substitute. Casters for this gaming weekend will be Djura and Njole. We’re sure you already know them but if that’s not the case you’ll have the opportunity to meet them on the 13th of August.
Once again. all of the action will be streamed live on the official A1 Adria League channels: Twitch, Trovo, and YouTube. What about the prize pool? Don’t worry. You can find the distribution below.

The time has come for our first gaming weekend! Here is everything you need to know about A1 Gaming Weekend Fortnite with GALLASANDALLA.
A1 Gaming Weekend Fortnite
On Saturday, the 6th of August all the regional Fortnite players will get a chance to claim the first A1 Gaming Weekend. Fortnite is still one of the most popular games out there. Its battle royale nature makes it a bit harder to organize in an offline environment but that doesn’t mean it still shouldn’t be played. Therefore we decided to spice it up between A1 Adria League seasons.
The competition will be played in a Solo format with five games. It’s free for all the Adria region players so that you can play from home. One of the most important things to note is that you need to have the replay turned on for the sake of the competition. If you thought that we left out the prize pool, you are wrong!

Between the A1 Adria League seasons, we’ve decided to bring you something a bit different. One tournament each weekend during August. That means that you’ll have the opportunity to play and compete in four different game titles as well as win some prize money. Before we go ahead and tell you everything you know make sure to follow all the A1 Adria League channels not to miss anything important. Also, the announcement of the 10th season of the A1 Adria League is right around the corner.
A1 Gaming Weekends
A1 Gaming Weekends will start on Saturday the 6th of August with the Fortnite Solo tournament with GALLASANDALLA, the famous Croatian content creator! The week after we’ll have the opportunity to watch some Rocket League action, on both Saturday and Sunday. The third weekend is reserved for a well-known game in the A1 Adria League community – Clash Royale. The series of the A1 Gaming Weekends will end with some Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege action.

Esports was at the beginning limited only to personal computers. With the development of technology, it became possible to compete on consoles, and later on smartphones too. It is exactly the smartphones that in recent years have been moving the boundaries of esports.
Regardless of which research you take into account, gaming on smartphones and tablets, popularly called mobile gaming, is a segment that should grow the fastest. Faster than gaming on personal computers and gaming consoles. Everyone who owns a smartphone is a potential “gamer”. A lot of people today play on their phones and unintentionally make the gamer’s statistics. They play games while traveling or while taking a break from daily activities. Among so many players there are those who compete in mobile games.
This type of gamer exists in our region too and A1 Adria League is showing that for seasons including at least one mobile game in its tournament. Earlier it was the popular game Clash Royale, and in the eighth season, which was held last year, all the lights of mobile gaming were on Brawl Stars.
Last summer it was the best domestic Brawl Stars players such as Lavvek, Adry, Andrey, and DzonDzon who represented the region in the Clash of Leagues tournament in Salzburg, in which the best players from five Central European Leagues and regional A1 Adria League participate.
Discussions about whether esports on mobile devices are real esports are long over. Smartphones and tablets are today technically so developed that they can support more demanding games too. Big developers and video game publishers have in mind the potential that mobile gaming has. Riot Games studio which made the ultra-popular League of Legends and VALORANT, also published a mobile version of the most popular MOBA game: League of Legends: Wild Rift. Call of Duty mobile has been available for a while now for everyone who prefers shooting on mobile platforms.
How can mobile esports help women enter esports?
With the growth of esports, the age boundaries of entering the world of competitive gaming are being moved. Regardless of the game, a lot of them are adapted to the youngest players, who very intuitively, using touchscreen controls can experience competitive gaming. 20 or more years ago to achieve this you needed to have some technical knowledge as well as a very expensive, and sometimes, unavailable device.
Of course, some of them will in the future play on gaming consoles and personal computers, but will at that point already have experienced something that wasn’t available to the Millenials, not to mention older generations. Of course, mobile esports isn’t only meant for younger players.
Female players still make up a very small percentage of active participants in esports. The most popular tournament for girls is the Women Star League Invitational in-game Mobile Legends: Bang Bang if we look at data on an active number of audience and the number of watched hours.
One of the ways in which we could include more females in the world of esports is exactly mobile esports. You wouldn’t need any special equipment for it, and the community isn’t as defined and exclusive as those when gaming on PCs or consoles.
However, for mobile esports or any kind of mobile gaming, it’s important to have a smartphone. That’s how the best regional Brawl Stars players in the grand finale of Clash of Leagues in LEVEL Up Arena in Salzburg competed on Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G devices which at least gave them an even chance with the best players of other countries.
When we talk about MOBA or similar games, which are more demanding to both players and devices, it’s important to have a fast response speed so you can run the game without any problems. This was exactly what Xiaomi provided to our guys. What kind of device is needed for the serious competition will depend on the game, and of course on the player. Even the smallest advantage in performance in crucial moments can be decisive.
Mobile gaming and mobile esports are already a part of the gaming industry or better esports industry. It will surely grow in the future, as we are even now raising new generations of gamers, professional or not.

Recently we announced Reboot Online Games Week – a week full of fun, entertainment, and high-quality competition. The A1 Adria League playoffs along with different events joined by famous names from our region will take place every day for a whole week – from 23.11 – 29.11.2020.
One of the things that we mentioned first was the STREAM UŽIVO panel. You have probably heard of sprEEEzy, Sansen, neLo, Nikolarn, and DoubleAiM. All of these are famous regional esports personalities that will be taking part in the Reboot Online Games Week.
Nikola“Nikolarn” Aničić is a content creator for Team Singularity who has over 500 thousand followers on Twitch and constantly keeps growing. He plays all kinds of games such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone – and VALORANT. Nikola will be the first on schedule when we talk about Reboot Online Games Week – join in on Monday at 13:00 and watch Nikola outplay other players in a couple of VALORANT matches.
Aleksa “DoubleAiM” Stanković is without a doubt one of the best League of Legends players in the region. Along with his former teammates and CR4ZY, Aleksa finished second in the latest season of EBL and took part in the European Masters competition. Starting at the same time as Nikolarn does, but on Tuesday, DoubleAiM will look to gain some of that juicy ELO while streaming his games to our viewers.
We will be watching one more stream on Tuesday. An ex-Overwatch and StarCraft II player, Maro “sprEEEzy” Miličević is currently focusing on PUBG. He will be one of the two guests for the Reboot Online Games Week that will stream this battle royale title and we hope that you will be present and cheer for him while he tries to get that Chicken Dinner at 17:00.
Former top 80 tennis player according to the WTA as well as a PUBG player and host, it seems like Sanda “Sansen” Mamić rocks the competition in every game she plays. Sanda has plenty of PUBG experience in the regional and international scene, having attended tournaments such as the second season of Broadcaster Royale and the Girl Gamer Royale S1. She has also been a shoutcaster for the PUBG Balkan League along with our dear A1 Adria League caster Baro “Pougljeni Mrav” Barukčić. Check out her stream on Wednesday at 13 o’clock.
Last but most certainly not least comes Leon “neLo” Pesić – the absolute best Croatian Rainbow Six: Siege player who recently spent more than a year playing for Natus Vincere, one of the top R6: Siege teams in the world. neLo’s stream begins at 18:00 on Wednesday and we expect to see a big number of regional fans watching him dominated the tiers of R6.

As you already know, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and regulations surrounding it Reboot InfoGamer won’t be taking place in its true form this year. But, that shouldn’t worry you too much because Reboot Online Games Week is officially a thing.
The aptly named Online Games Week has most of the information already in the title, but just to be sure: it’s a regional online gaming event and faire that’s organized by Reboot and powered by A1, with the support of the Croatian Ministry of Culture.
The COVID-19 pandemic prevents us from experiencing last year’s spectactle in Zagreb once again
The event will last from 23rd to the 29th of November. With over 200 hours of amazing gaming content from three different studios – each one in its own theme field – every visitor will be able to enjoy the occasion like it has never been done before. You can expect everything – from indie game dev projects to the biggest regional esports event – the A1 Adria League finals. Of course, since InfoGamer is well-known for its giveaways and goodies, those will also be a part of the online event, but in a more digital atmosphere.
On A1 Adria League’s channels, you’ll be able to watch some of our biggest regional esport players and content creators stream their favorite games. The “My Story” segment is going to tell the tale of how several known regional esports figures got to where they are now, we’ll play fun exhibition matches and top it all off with a big charity event.
There’s going to be different panels, each one with either esport players or/and journalists. The end of the week is reserved for the most special matter – the Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and FIFA21 finals that will be broadcasted on our channels to see who’s going to end up on top in what has been a very exciting season.
STEAM UŽIVO – Some of the best regional streamers will spend time with our followers and play their iconic games during the week. Streamers and players like Nikolarn, DoubleAiM, Sansen, and neLo will take part in the Games Week in order to make the upcoming week even more entertaining for everyone. IGRAJ – If you wanted to play a game or two with the most talented regional players and streamers – now’s your chance! You can join in during our FIFA21, Brawl Stars, and Clash Royale segments and compete with or against the A1 Adria League players and/or staff.
TURNIRI – If you prefer more competitive play, then we got something for you. Our followers will have the chance to take part in some casual cups and earn valuable rewards for your time. The fifth season of A1 Adria League surprised us all. The new titles – Brawl Stars and FIFA really showed the potential of these games in our region and we are really happy that we chose to feature them. But now, after the season came to an end, it is finally time to announce the sixth season of the A1 Adria League.
Season 6 will be much longer than our previous season and it will have formats that will let us see even more high-quality matches. The prize pool has a massive increase compared to the fifth season, so we encourage everyone to sign up and try their best to win their share of rewards in this season. In the span of the next three months, we will watch the best FIFA, Brawl Stars, Clash Royale, and CS:GO players in the biggest esports competition in our region.
Brawl Stars returns in the sixth Season!
During the last few months, we had the chance to watch the regional Brawlers battle it out in the first-ever A1 Adria League Brawl Stars season. The seven played qualifiers culminated in the double-elimination playoffs that saw the absolute favorites, Alpha Elite, be crowned the first Brawl Stars champions.
The sixth season will feature a similar format to the previous one. Instead of seven, we will now have 13 qualifiers from which the best eight teams will secure a spot in the offline finals. The total prize pool for this season will be €2.600, with the best team bringing home €1.000.

Clash Royale in the sixth season!
Six seasons of A1 Adria League, six seasons of Clash Royale! We will be stepping in the Arena once again after an amazing fifth season with even bigger awards for the best teams. We introduced the team system in Clash Royale in the last season, and the players loved it! The 1v1, 2v2, and KOTH modes let us see many more games being played than usual and PvtMole was there to entertain us and cast the games on an amazing level. In the end, Crusher Esports took the first place while Emperiial and Totem Esports followed at second and third, respectively.
Clash Royale will have the same prize pool as Brawl Stars. We will see a double round-robin format and the playoffs will once again feature the Gauntlet format. The five invited teams will be challenged by the best team from the qualifiers in the Arena. The group stage will last for 10 rounds and we will see the top four teams advance to the LAN finals. In case the offline finals are unable to take place due to quarantine measures, the playoffs will be played online.

FIFA in the sixth Season!
FIFA made its comeback as a featured game during the last season. The guys from the FIFA Balkan Community along with our staff did a great job of organizing the qualifiers and the playoffs. We saw a massive turn out from the players as everyone was excited to compete in the League and at the very end, esad1memic claimed the first prize. Jasik came close second and amke was the better player in the third-place decider.
As FIFA is a franchise that releases a new version of the game every year, our sixth season will be a bit different from the fifth one. We will have a total of nine qualifiers and three online playoffs series. First, the players will have a chance to compete in FIFA20 and at the end of August one player will secure a spot in the LAN finals. The second trio of qualifiers will be held during September which will see one more FIFA20 player advance to the offline event. As FIFA21 releases on the 6th of October, we will start the last trio of qualifiers on the 10th. The competitors will have their last chance at qualifying during the month of October and in the end, the last two players will earn their spot at the offline playoffs in Zagreb. FIFA will boast a prize pool of €2.150 and we are expecting to see even more players sign up and be a part of the qualifiers!
CS:GO in the sixth Season!
Just like Clash Royale, CS:GO has been with us since the very beginning of the League. The fifth season reminded us yet again of how exciting the regional CS:GO scene really is. lvlUP, Blink, QSKE, and GamerS1337 survived the SWISS Stage and advanced to the double-elimination playoffs. lvlUP played the playoffs with Luka “emi” Vuković and their coach Darko “soLo” Mitić and still managed to outplay their opponents and win the League. Blink came in second, while the Macedonian powerhouse, QSKE, finished as the third-best team of the season.
Blink and lvlUP, the top two sides from the fifth season will receive a direct invite for this upcoming season of the League. The remaining six teams will be decided by a combination of open and closed qualifiers. First, we will host two open qualifiers in which the best four teams from each will advance to the first closed qualifier. The closed qualifier will have a BO3 single-elimination format, and the best three teams will advance to the completely BO3 SWISS League. And if you thought that that is all, you are wrong – we have prepared €11.000 for the very best teams in the League to split between each other.
So, what are you waiting for? Call your AWPer, prepare your executions, and get to 16 before the other teams does!

While waiting for the third A1 Gaming Weekend cup to start, we decided to get in touch with the team that will help us organize the tournament and introduce their community to all of you following us. Just as the FBC, the PESExpert guys are constantly helping the players in our region with organizing a big number of tournaments and helping them in the development of their careers. I contacted Kule from PESExpert who was happy to answer my questions and make his community known to even more people.
Hello, Kule, thanks for taking the time to do this interview. Could you introduce the PES Expert community to the broader public? How long have you been developing the PES scene in our region?
The PESExpert community exists for over 10 years now, since 2010 – Playstation 3. It was at that time that the founders saw that Croatia has a lot of players that play the best soccer simulation, PES. Since that moment, a lot has changed, we switched to PS4, there were good and bad editions of PES, but the number of members and followers kept increasing constantly. In 2019, PESExpert split into two groups, with the first (12.igrač) focusing on Full Manual, Master League, and the casual side of the player base. Our community (PESExpert) consists of 15 leagues and over 300 players, some of which are between one of the best in Europe, and we can say that we are more focused on developing the quality of the overall scene. Players from all nationalities are welcomed here and we can proudly say that we are successfully working with members from Serbia, BiH, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Macedonia.
What are some tournaments that you organized in the past? Tell us about the PES Expert 1v1 & 2v2 tournament that boasts a 10.000€ prize pool.
From the bigger tournaments, we have organized the “Lumici Centar” tournament in Varaždin, with 80 players playing 1v1, we organized the Reboot 1v1 & 2v2 tournament with 70 players and we worked with Caffe Boeing, where we managed to organize two cups with a total of 90 players.
Our biggest project to date is happening on the 12th of September in Velika Gorica, the sports center Panadić to be exact. The tournament will have 256 players for the 1v1 part, and 64 2v2 duos. Players are showing massive interest in the tournament, mainly because of its €10.000 prize pool, which is the minimal prize pool and is likely to go up. Except for the main tournament, there will be a theme park for kids and adults and a 3v3 bubble football.
How developed is the PES community in the Adriatic region? Do you see this A1 Gaming Weekend tournament as a chance to even further help the players in their competitive careers? Are you looking forward to a great turn out from the players?
The PES community in our region is really big, with over 20.000 active players, we have Serbia that has the biggest number of players and they are really investing into esports with prizes and also bringing the scene closer to the mainstream media with a lot of leagues. We see this tournament [A1 Gaming Weekend] as a chance to show the people just how many players there are in the region that play PES and that it is really worth it. We also hope that people will recognize our organizational abilities and this project will help the PESExpert staff with further projects.
Do you prefer the LAN competition to the online format we have now because of the worldwide pandemic? Are you looking back to going back to LAN?
Online and offline competitions have a lot of differences, for example, when playing tournaments online, not everyone has a connection of the same quality, and that with the delays from the different TV-s can often be a disadvantage for one of the players. Those problems are nullified in offline competitions and the only things that matter are the mechanical and mental quality and capability of the player and that is why playing on LAN is much more popular in showing the real skill of the player.

During the weekend the second A1 Gaming Weekend was played out. The first matches were finished fairly quickly on Saturday, while on Sunday we had the chance to see the best of the best Rocket League duos battle it out on stream.
Both of the finalist teams started out the tournament in the first round. Tryhard Kidz and Aim Assist advanced to the second round after victories against DE | Black and Vrucag Uzica respectively, while L3 had no difficulties versus ExquzeS. Except for the Tryhard Kidz – Bwoah matchup that ended 2-1 in favor of the former, all of the round 2 matches were one-sided 2-0 victories for the favorite teams. Real Misfits bested Simple Boys, Size Matters were better than Calculatando and Suzavci outplayed the Macedonian duo Volovi in the Round of 16.
We proceeded to the Best of 5 games in the quarterfinals. No upsets happened in this third round either, and the quarterfinals quickly came to an end after four 3-0 victories for the much better teams. Tryhard Kidz, Suzavci, Aim Assist, and Size Matters all survived the first day and secured a spot in the semifinals of the Rocket League tournament.
Our caster, Pougljeni Mrav finally got to spend some time casting his game, Rocket League. While Tryhard Kidz barely slipped past Suzavci in the first semifinal, Aim Assist outplayed Size Matters in every way possible. Alexii and hoodied were on a whole different level in the Grand Finals as well and Tryhard Kidz didn’t stand a chance. Dred and Haregan were able to win one of the five games played, but Aim Assist closed out the match 4-1 and secured the first-place prize. In the third-place decider, Size Matters breezed past Suzavci with a 4-0 win and took their share of the prize pool.
