The A1 Student eChallenge event is back, and this season you have a chance to compete with your colleagues students in CS2 and EA FC 24 and earn the top prize! You will have to go through the qualifier and secure a spot in the finals which will be held at Zagrebacki Velesajam as a part of the Reboot InfoGamer event in November.

A1 Hrvatska in collaboration with Croatian faculties is bringing another season of A1 Student eChallenge! First season was a tremendous success and, you could say, a bit of a testing ground for us. This time we are back with a good news: there is no more faculty restrictions and any student can join and participate! Students who are into gaming and like to relax from studying by logging into their CS2 and EA FC 24 accounts are welcome in the league. All you need to do is sign up by clicking on the links below and participate. Gather your team and become the best student CS2 team or EA FC 24 player in the region!

Qualifiers for both games will be played online. The prize pool for CS2 is 1275 euros, while the best EA FC 24 players will have a prize pool of 225 euros shared with the top 4. If you and your team manage to make it to the finals and attend the LAN, save the dates. Best CS2 teams will compete in Zagreb on November 12th, while EA FC 24 is scheduled for November 10th. The chance to attend the Reboot event will have four CS2 teams and four EA FC 24 players.

Moreover, there are some requirements that students need to fulfill in order to compete in the A1 Student eChallenge league which are:

  • all faculties in Croatia are eligible
  • students need to be from Croatia (Erasmus students aren’t eligible for this event)
  • multiple teams or players from the same faculty are allowed (anyone can signup directly on the cup websites, but after qualifications players will have to prove their connection with the faculty)
  • in case of CS2, four players must be from the same faculty, one can be from a different one (4+1)

If you’re not from Zagreb, don’t worry, we cover the expenses for accommodation, but not for travel. Food will also be paid for those staying in hotels, while those from Zagreb attending the event will also have a meal at the Reboot LAN. For more information, reach out to us on Discord.

The 12th A1 Adria League LAN and Reboot InfoGamer back in Zagreb!

Since the last Reboot InfoGamer in 2019, powered by A1, we have seen many Reboot events such as Reboot Games Weekends and Reboot Online Games Weekends. Now, the Reboot InfoGamer event is back! The event will be held at Zagrebacki Velesajam from 9th to 12th November, and the LAN finale of the 12th A1 Adria League will be a part of it!

Get ready for another Reboot InfoGamer!

The Croatian gaming industry has been expanding and reaching new heights each year. Compared to previous years, we have seen a rise in the total profit and employment in the national video game production industry. A recent study has shown an increase of 87% in this aspect compared to 2019.

After months of planning, the Reboot InfoGamer is back and scheduled for November. The event will begin on November 9th and end on the 12th at the Zagrebacki Velesajam. But that’s not all. As a part of this event, the LAN finale of the current A1 Adria League season will be played in three popular games. Players and teams from Serbia, Croatia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete for the top price and the right to call themselves the best regional players/teams in FIFA23/24, FIFA Mobile, and CS: GO. Once again, these events will be sponsored by A1 Croatia.

Besides the A1AL LAN, at the event, you can enjoy popular and new video games, panels where the developers will talk about their projects and giveaways where gaming merch and hardware will be awarded to those who are lucky.

A1 Adria League finals are back on LAN!

Reboot Games Weekend will host the LAN finals of the A1 Adria League Season 10 in FIFA, Brawl Stars, and CS:GO! After two years the A1AL finals are back on LAN.

A1 Adria League Season 10 finals at Reboot Games Weekend

After three years of the online edition, to the satisfaction of all gaming fans and esports fans, November 12th and 13th pavilion 8a of the Zagreb Fair will once again be a temple of top gaming spectacle. In anticipation of the return of Reboot InfoGamer powered by A1, organizers Reboot and A1 Hrvatska bring a two-day gaming event – Reboot Games Weekend powered by A1.

What awaits visitors at the exciting and free for all visitors gaming event, announced the organizer and co-founder and director of Reboot, Damir Đurović: “After three too long years, we are reentering the scene of the great spectacular live gaming events. Although physically much more compact and time-wise of shorter duration, Reboot Games Weekend powered by A1 will not disappoint.”

We have prepared attractive surprises and gaming content emphasizing achievements technologies, an overview of the biggest pre-Christmas gaming blockbusters, and an insight into a stronger and larger Croatian and regional video game industry. This particular gaming weekend is proof that live gaming events are finally starting to make a big comeback door, so in 2023 we expect the comeback of one of the biggest gaming giants fairs Reboot InfoGamera powered by A1, in its recognizable, colorful, and loud megalomaniacal form.”

One of the highlights of the Reboot Games Weekend event powered by A1 is also a big spectacular jubilee, the tenth final of the biggest regional esports league – the A1 Adria League. Competitions will be held during both days at the A1 Adria League arena, the most important points gatherings of all true esports fans this fall. On Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th, the regional esports titans are expected to compete in Brawl Stars, FIFA, and CS:GO. A1 Croatia for the jubilee season of the League secured a total prize fund of up to 100,000 kunas.

“This autumn we are celebrating the big, tenth anniversary of the A1 Adria League with a wide regional gaming community that we gather. I am happy about the possibility that we as a teleoperator have the joy of the world of video games through safety, quality, and stability. Nine seasons were marked by nine different game titles through which we secured 1.200.000 overall kunas in the prize fund. As big as these numbers are, our desire to understand our role as a leader in a responsible way is also a great way, and through our work and projects, we contribute to the safety of every A1 user, whether it is about cyber threats or ensuring fair play in the world of video games,” said Iva Ančić, head of brand and marketing communication A1 Croatia.

A step with world trends, the tenth edition of the A1 Adria League, will mark collectible NFTs in a limited quantity of only 1,000 pieces with 5 different motives. This special memorabilia is dedicated to the gaming jubilee and long-term cooperation with Reboot was designed by A1 Croatia as the first telecom which entered the Croatian digital market in this way, in cooperation with the regional Hub of the NEAR blockchain through the h00kd platform which enables easy generation of NFTs for companies and events.

The happiest visitors will return home with a digital gaming memory, they will be able to exchange them with each other. How is the amount of NFT’s A1 Adria League limited, fans will in special activations as part of the A1 chill zone at Reboot Games Weekend Powered by A1 have a chance to win NFT cards, which you have a QR code, hidden by a protective foil, by scanning which they will download their NFT.

The seventh A1 Adria League season wraps up!

The end of the final CS:GO playday marked the end of yet another A1 Adria League season as well as the second Reboot Online Games Week.

Reboot Online Games Week once again offered over 150 hours of gaming-related content to fans all around the region. From My Story and Panel to the live streams and the A1 Adria League finals, we couldn’t really ask for more during the last week. Wednesday was dedicated to the Brawl Stars teams, FIFA’s players entered the stadiums on Thursday and Friday, and League of Legends completed its comeback on Saturday. Sunday was the climax of a two-month-long CS:GO journey, as well as the end of this, seventh, iteration of the League.

Brawl Stars

Our Brawlers clashed on Wednesday. Noble Elite BLK and Point Gaming (ex-Lil Surprise) entered the arena first as the first semifinal match started. BLK’s victory sent Point Gaming to the lower bracket and they were later joined by Mayoi, who couldn’t defeat Noble Elite Red. The elimination match saw Mayoi lose to the aforementioned opponents, while the upper-bracket finals ended with a Noble Elite BLK win. The losers of this match, Red, bounced back against Point Gaming and returned to the finals, only to be defeated once again by the organization’s BLK team.

The top four Brawl Stars teams:

2. hr Noble Elite Red – 600€
3. hr Point Gaming – 300€
4. rs Mayoi – 200€

FIFA21

Unlike the other three titles, FIFA’s finals were played out in the span of two days. During Thursday and Friday, we watched the four remaining players battle it out until the very end. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac, Tarik “amke2001” Novo, Filip “FIFAFICO” Babić and Esad “NKOS_esad1memic” Memić played took part in the playoffs which featured a double-elimination bracket. In the end, amke2001 succeeded in defending his title and becoming the back-to-back regional FIFA champion.

4. hr FIFAFICO – 200€

League of Legends

They did it! Split Raiders were once again merciless and finished the League of Legends grand finals without losing a map (3-0). Before that match took place though, Harmony and Fiko Izdaja went at it in the lower bracket finals. There, Harmony outplayed their opponents and secured a rematch against Split Raiders. As mentioned above, Split Raiders dominated the final match and won the main prize of 1.600€!

CS:GO

One more CS:GO season is behind us! It seems that it has become a tradition to host an amazing season and in the end, crown the ONYX core as the returning champions. With yesterday’s triumph, Dimitrije “DiMKE” Veljković and Aleksa “Impulse” Stankić have been the A1 Adria League champions four times. Aleksa did it in seasons 2, 5, 6, and 7, while DiMKE did it in four consecutive seasons, starting from season 4. The runners-up for the season are PORTUGAL, Good Game came in third, and 4glory are fourth

It’s GAME TIME! Reboot Online Games Week returns next week!

Just like last year, Reboot Online Games Week is here to entertain you with the A1 Adria League finals along with incredible esports-related content for five whole days!

Starting on the 16th of June and lasting until the 20th, this second Reboot Online Games Week will once again present our fans and followers with tens of hours of unique content. Most of the segments of the show remain the same as in the Week’s first iteration – we will watch the Panels, “Moja priča” (“My story”), STREAM Uživo, and we will once again play Brawl Stars with Lavvek and Inder. We are once again stationed in three different studios – each one producing content connected to the gaming and esports industry. Expect to see new stuff every hour and be ready to participate in all the different giveaways Reboot and A1 Hrvatska have prepared for you.

When it comes to A1 Adria League – the latter half of Wednesday will be reserved for the Brawl Stars finals, while on Thursday and Friday evenings, the best FIFA players in the region will meet on the field and fight for the champion’s title. Just like the rest of the season, Saturday will be dedicated to League of Legends, and on the final day, Sunday, we are watching the two semifinals and the CS:GO Grand Finals!

PANEL – For our Panels on Thursday and Friday, we will cover two important topics. First, we will host owners of famous regional esports organizations and have them discuss how is it to run an organization in our region. Friday is dedicated to a LIVE Streaming panel with streamers talking about their journey, their daily life, streaming careers, and much more!

MOJA PRIČA – Just like last year, Moja Priča, or My Story, will present to all of you the stories of some prominent names in our region. This time joining us will be Supreme Nexus, Veco, and League of Legend’s Zero Tenacity manager, Spale. Their stories will be running from Wednesday through Friday, so make sure to check them out.

STREAM Uživo & IGRAJ – Before we get to the intense Brawl Stars and FIFA action, we will be able to relax with some of the regional streamers. On Wednesday, our followers will play matches with or against our Brawl Stars commentator, Inder, as well as Noble Elite Red’s Lavvek. Bakistuta is going to entertain us on Thursday and Gallsandalla is with us on Friday!
