Novo and Esad are the last players who secured the top 4!

Last night the last matches of the FIFA22 group stage were played. We had two interesting matchups where four players fought for the last two spots in the A1 Adria League playoffs. In the end, our three-time champion Novo secured the spot in the final 4, as well as esad1memic.

Novo and Esad last to the finish line

Two more players last night secured the wins and will now join Mrky and Brstimir, who had already made it to the FIFA22 playoffs. The first to do so was Novo, who was expected to secure the next stage of A1AL earlier in the competition. As he struggled throughout the first two rounds of the group stage, it took him a while to reach the goal. His opponent was DrPecho who had the most number of points in the qualifiers. The first match led us to extra time where Novo kept his cool and scored a goal after his tiki-taka action right before the final whistle. Novo opened the second match with a quick goal, but Pecho bounced back and made sure they go to extra time again. In the end, penalties decided our 3rd player in the final 4. They both read each other shots pretty well, but the final result on penalties was 3-2 in Novo’s favor.

The last spot was to be secured by either Esad or Jero. As usual, Esad started with his attacking football right from the beginning, ending his attacks with his signature “chip shot” technique. In the second match, he was a way better player on the pitch, and he secured his 3-2 win with ease. He dominated the third match as well and keep his legacy of reaching the top 4 in every A1 Adria League season he played. With this win, Esad secured himself a chance to fight for 1750$ prize pool 2 weeks from now!

Mrky, Brstimir, Novo, and Esad are the top 4 FIFA22 players in the ninth season of the A1 Adria League! Can anyone dethrone Novo, or is he coming for the title once again?

FIFA22 standings

Brstimir defeats Jero and advances to the FIFA22 playoffs!

Yet another FIFA22 round is behind us. Some great matches have been played last night, and we have seen an intense and fierce competition. A1 Adria League is continuing to host this game, and every year more and more talented players are showing what they can do in this competition. After Mrky, another player makes the cut and secures the playoff. brstimir with an overall score of 3:1 is now safe in the top 4.

brstimir expectedly joins Mrky in the playoffs

The first match of this round was played between our three-time champion Novo and esad1memic. They are both familiar players and they have faced each other too many times now. Novo seemed to find a way to adapt to the new playstyle of his opponent quicker, and without much problem he easily outclassed Esad. Winning 2-0 in the first match, and filling Esad’s net to the top in the second match with 4-0 as a final result. Both players are set to find their way to the final 4 next week since they both stand at a 2-2 score now.

The second match was a fight for survival in the league. Both JasikFIFA and DrPecho had the same score of 1:2 and a win here meant everything. Pecho kept his cool all the time, and he even almost walked the ball into the net of his opponent a few times. In the end, he secured himself another appearance on our stream next week where he will face Novo for a final chance to sneak into the top 4. On the other side, this is where we say goodbye to Jasik who is eliminated from the competition.

brstimir in the last match of the day showed he deserved the spot in the playoffs since the competition started. Before Mrky took him down last round, he hadn’t lost a game. And now with a win over Jero, he got what he rightfully deserved. Is this his season maybe? He seems very confident with a playstyle that differs from all the other players, with abusing player lock and the newest meta techniques that are very hard to master. On the other side, Jero will also have one more chance next week. If he manages to secure the spot in the playoffs it will be his first ever in the A1 Adria League.

A1 Adria League group stage begins soon! Here’s who qualified

The time has finally come to officially start the ninth season of the A1 Adria League. Besides League of Legends which has already gotten its champion, our three standard games, Brawl Stars, FIFA22, and CS:GO, are yet to get their own. The qualifications for these three games are finally over, and we are bringing you a recap of all the qualified players and teams.

Zidari are dominating Brawl Stars

The beginning of the Brawl Stars qualifiers was a turbulent one. Everyone expected last year’s champions Zidari to dominate the draft. But as we have seen they only managed to secure 20 points in the first qualifier. It was Jazavci who came on top and secured first place.

It didn’t take long before Zidari picked up their game and climbed to the top. From the second qualifier, it was this team who managed to beat everyone else and reclaim their own first place. They won three consecutive qualifiers, and in the end as the first seed qualified for the group stage.

During all four qualifiers, we have also seen a great performance from teams such as Big F who went hand in the hand with Zidari the whole time. Jazavci, also made their way into the next stage of A1AL, as well as Dogs who were in the top four throughout the qualifiers. These are the eight Brawl Stars teams that entered the league.

Brawl Stars qualifiers final standings

The group stage for Brawl Stars begins on May 5th.

FIFA22 and the most dramatic qualifiers

Even before the qualifiers for FIFA22 started, everyone was watching our three-time champion Tarik “amke2001” Novo. But Novo didn’t manage to win a single qualifier this year. Although that didn’t stop him from qualifying for the group stage as the second seed.

Every qualifier went into the hands of a different person. The first time around it was Esad “esad1memic” Memic who came out victorious and earned the first 100 points. While in that same qualifier Novo lost in the first round. We have seen a couple of new players also worth mentioning such as Karlo “jero” Jerekin and Luka “Zizou” Simunac. While jero made it to the group stage, the winner of the second qualifier Zizou wasn’t that lucky.

The well-known name Milos “brstimir” Majdevac came in like a fury in the third qualifier and earned himself 100 points and a place in the top 8. Our three-time champion Novo at this point was on the verge of being eliminated, he had 80 points and was the eighth player, barely making the cut.

The last qualifier was extremely dramatic. Seeing the points were close, and anyone could eliminate anyone, the battle was fierce. Petar “DrPecho” Susnjar was the best player in the fourth qualifier. He managed to take down Novo and secure a place in the group stage as the first seed. These are the top 8 FIFA22 players who are entering the group stage of A1AL.

FIFA22 last qualifier standings

The group stage for FIFA22 begins on May 6th.

Regional CS:GO giants are here

Unlike FIFA and Brawl Stars, CS:GO had three qualifiers, where we got 2 teams from each, adding up to 6 teams overall. These 6 qualified teams are joined by the two invited, which are 4glory and BLUEJAYS.

First to make it to the group stage were BLINK and XTEAM who managed to take down some well-known regional names such as Zero Tenacity, Marten Rising, MONAD eSports, and so on. The next two slots went into the hand of Strive in chaos and bitboxks, now Oto100. While we yet again saw Z10, ghoulsW, Marten Rising and others compete. It took them three qualifiers but in the end, they made it. The third time was the charm for Zero Tenacity and ghoulsW who were the last to secure their spot in the group stage of A1 Adria League. They didn’t give up, and in the end, it was worth it.

With that, we have our top 8 CS:GO teams, which are:

  • BLINK
  • XTEAM
  • Strive in chaos
  • Oto100
  • Zero Tenacity
  • ghoulsW
  • 4glory
  • BLUEJAYS

The group stage for CS:GO begins on May 8th.

Pecho took down amke2001 in the final FIFA22 qualifier!

The most dramatic FIFA22 qualifier is completed. After four qualifiers the best eight FIFA22 players of this season will enter A1 Adria League and compete in the SWISS group stage. Pecho was the one who came out victorious after the last qualifier, which also provided him the first place overall.

Pecho bested the three-time champion

Knowing that a win today might put anyone in the top 8, slots were full once again! The fact that nobody managed to secure their spot until the last qualifier got every single player to shift into their upper gear, which ended in the most dramatic FIFA qualifier we have seen in recent years.

The surprise of the day was the relegation of the two experienced and well-known players Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Esad “esad1memic” Memic. They didn’t manage to get past round 3 today, but luckily they had already gathered enough points from previous qualifiers, to secure their spot in the group stage. The rookie Karlo “Jero” Jerkin went only one step more through the bracket and also secured himself some screen time in the next stage of A1AL. Another rookie from these qualifiers Zizou who came on top in the second qualifier, unfortunately, didn’t have enough points to secure the group stage.

Our three-time champion Tarik “amke2001” Novo took this qualifier more seriously than those before. He cruised through the bottom side of the bracket with ease. Just like it was expected from him from the start of the new season. His enemy in the final would be Petar “Pecho” Susnjar who dominated the other side of the bracket.

Even before the final started, both players had reached enough points to secure first and second place, so they focused on making a statement for the future. Amke2001 took down the first match, while Pecho clutched in the 120. minute in the second game of the finals. The third game was a dominant one for Pecho who didn’t let amke2001 score once, ending the match with an easy 2:0 win.

FIFA22 last qualifier standings

In the end, all the players who were expected to win and ensure their place in the group stage did. It was a very close and intense competition from the start, which can be seen in the final standings.

The players will take a short deserved break after such fierce battles, and prepare for the group stage which will commence on May 6th.

amke2001 survives the final FIFA round!

The reigning champion, Tarik “amke2001” Novo triumphed in the last match of this FIFA group stage.

Following in the steps of Brawl Stars, FIFA had the same task today. Only one remaining spot and two players in contention. These two players were amke2001 and Harun “Hara” Parla, a matchup that made this duel a Bosnian derby as well. Our back-to-back winner had a bad start in the season but slowly started climbing up the leaderboard. After five long and exhausting rounds for amke2001, he managed to complete the comeback and become the fourth playoffs competitor alongside Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac, Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak and Esad “esad1memic” Memić.

Two of the three titles of this A1 Adria League season that featured a SWISS format are now ready for the playoffs. CS:GO will join FIFA and Brawl Stars after its fifth round comes to an end this Sunday. In the meantime, these are the final SWISS FIFA rankings:

FIFA Standings

esad1memic and edenn95 will be a part of the FIFA playoffs!

Two more FIFA players confirmed their playoffs spots today – Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak and Esad “esad1memic” Memić.

After a rough start in the first rounds, Tarik “amke2001” Novo looked more like his old self today. Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo ended his A1 Adria League journey in the fourth round, as he was unable to play against amke2001’s FIFA squad. amke will get to play in the deciding fifth round as well, while JasikFifa has now officially joined Emir “Sulja13” Suljović in the eliminated players list. As Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac secured his playoffs spot in the third round, only two more matches were played out this playday.

One of those duels was between Harun “Hara” Parla and edenn95. A quick 2-0 victory for edenn95 confirmed his well-deserved spot in the top 4. For Hara, this result means that he will also play the fifth round alongside amke2001. Finally, to top off this day, Esad “esad1memic” Memić breezed past and eliminated Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar from the eight A1 Adria League season. You can watch this playday below:

FIFA SWISS

brstimir reaches the FIFA playoffs over esad1memic!

In our third round for the season, Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac became the first player to qualify for the FIFA22 A1 Adria League playoffs.

This playday started with the winners’ decider match between brstimir and Esad “esad1memic” Memić. The derby that has become famous all over the region once again showed us just how good both of these players are. This time, howver, the victory went to brstimir and he became the first playoffs player for the second FIFA season of 2021. Every single one of today’s matches was spectacular, and right after the first one, Emir “Sulja” Suljović and Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo clashed in the elimination match. Unfortunately for Sulja, it seemed like he wasn’t prepared enough and he got eliminated by JasikFifa after two matches.

Harun “Hara” Parla had a difficult task ahead of him with Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar being his third opponent this season. It was a match of the 1-1 pool, but it was just as important as the other two we watched before. This derby went in the way of DrPecho, who won in the deciding third match of the BO3. Finally, Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak defeated Tarik “amke2001” Novo to end yet another action-packed FIFA playday. You can (re)watch these four FIFA games below

These are the current FIFA standings:

brstimir and esad1memic climb to the 2-0 SWISS pool!

With our second SWISS round done, brstimir and esad1memic now find themselves at the very top of the leaderboard.

Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Tarik “amke2001” Novo began this second SWISS round. This is a regional derby that we have followed plenty of times in recent months, and as always, it didn’t fail to amaze. Both players showed their best version of themselves today, but today’s winner was brstimir. Next up, Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar challenged Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo in a duel in the 0-1 SWISS pool. The Croat outperformed Jasik on the virtual stadium and got his first win of this season tonight.

The next two matches were as amazing as the beginning of the playday. Match no.3 and we are watching Esad “esad1memic” Memić and Harun “Hara” Parla on our broadcast. Another 2-0 win happened in this duel, and esad1memic was on the winning side this time around. To close off the day, Emir “Sulja13” Suljović played versus Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak. In the match that followed, another clean sweep saw edenn95 defeat his Bosnian opponent and send him to the loser’s 0-2 pool.

The eight players are currently ranked as follows:

FIFA Ranking

This week in A1AL: Two spots remain in the LoL league!

Ahead of us is the week that will decide the final two League of Legends teams. In the meantime, CS:GO, FIFA and Brawl Stars continue with the SWISS stage.

Brawl Stars

The first Brawl Stars round was indeed a quick one. Every single one of the four played matches ended with a clean sweep for the favorite team. With no upsets in Round 1, the leaderboard is currently split in half with the dominant teams claiming the 1-0 spots. This week, four new matches will decide which teams will go a step closer to elimination or the playoffs, respectively. Salada de Frutas versus Lightning Strike and Omert4 vs Winx Club – which two teams will advance to the 2-0 pool? What about the matches in the 0-1 SWISS pool? Here are the four matches in this second round:

QuickMind vs. Mayoi
Omert4 vs. Winx Club
BalkanTalents vs. Dominjo Carry
Salada de Frutas vs. Lightning Strike

FIFA

Similar to Brawl Stars, there weren’t major upsets in the first FIFA22 SWISS round either. However, the matches were definitely much closer than in Supercell’s arena brawler and we are eagerly expecting Friday, when the second round will take place. Once again, Tarik “amke2001” Novo and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac will be paired against each other. Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar will try to defeat Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo, while Harun “Hara” Parla’s opponent this playday will be Esad “esad1memic” Memić. And in the very end, Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak will try to get his first win for this season versus Emir “Sulja13” Suljović.

CS:GO

We are halfway done with the third CS:GO round and we already know the first playoffs team. That team is none other than iNation, the A1 Adria League first-timers who beat PORTUGAL in the deciding BO3 duel. The second Serbian team that competed in that playday, 4glory, also took a W last Sunday, and their victims were SKUAK Gaming. This week, one of our matches will be between 1-1 teams – Marten Gaming and BLUEJAYS. While it is an important match, everything isn’t on the line yet for these teams. The same can’t be said about JESTE and Young Glorians (who recently became a part of Zero Tenacity).

League of Legends

One qualifier separates us from the regional League of Legends playoffs. That means that the Adriatic teams have only one more chance to make it through to the League. Last time, Fantastic Esports and Mafija Lebrinyja triumphed over every other team in the qualifiers and secured the fifth and sixth League spots. Which four players triumphed in the first FIFA SWISS round?

We officially entered the FIFA SWISS stage! Tarik “amke2001” Novo and three other players claimed victories and have earned their place in the winners’ half of the leaderboard.

The first player on the qualifiers’ leaderboard, amke2001 faced Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar in the first round. The Croatian player won a match against our reigning champion, but amke2001 quickly closed out the game in his favor. Next up, Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Đorđe “Jasik” Cumbo were set to play a derby and it finished with brstimir on the winning side. With his only match so far being a loss, JasikFIfa joined DrPecho in the 0-1 pool of the SWISS table.
Of our second pair of matches, the one we watched foremost was a clash between Harun “Hara” Parla and Emir “Sulja13” Suljović. Both players left their hearts on the field and gave it their best to win, but Hara was the one that could achieve the victory yesterday. As the qualifier leaderboard seeded Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak and Esad “esad1memic” Memić against each other, the two players were here to close our first day of the regular season. The favorite, esad1memic. came out as the absolute winner of this macthup.
