lvlUP overcome Good Game to secure the last spot in the playoffs!

And the final game of the League is ready for the playoffs. CS:GO’s SWISS round was played out today and the reigning champions will fight for their third title in a row in the playoffs of the sixth season.

The final match of the group stage was a clash between Good Game and lvlUP. Good Game were coming from a clean victory versus their Macedonian rivals, GODZ1337, and during the fourth SWISS round, lvlUP suffered a bitter loss against their own rivals, Blink.

We only had the chance to watch two maps as lvlUP’s dominance stomped Good Game on Inferno and Dust2. Inferno was lvlUP’s pick and after Good Game took the first three rounds, the Serbian players playing with David “Dav” Miljanić instead of Miloš “dEE” Marčeta woke up and took the map with a 16-7 score.

The match headed to Dust2 which was Good Game’s pick. It was a similar scenario to Inferno – Good Game and lvlUP were neck and neck during the first half, but lvlUP’s T side proved to be absolutely phenomenal. The executions were great, every clutch went lvlUP’s way and even with a new player in their roster, the champions defended their title and will be facing Shock Bomb in the playoffs.

These are the first matches of the A1 Adria League CS:GO playoffs:

Ajdin and esad1memic qualify for the A1 Adria League FIFA playoffs!

After nine qualifying cups and three mini playoff tournaments, the FIFA portion of our league reached the final playoffs event. Today, the last mini final came to an end, and the last two qualified players are now known.

arminho0307 as one of the best players in the League finished the SWISS stage of the playoffs cup with a 30 score. The reigning champion followed suit and secured a spot in the cup playoffs with only suffering a loss in his match against arminho. HRVoje-95, unfortunately, couldn’t win a single game and ended the mini playoffs in the SWISS stage earlier than expected.

The fifth round saw Ajdin977 and DziDziAnlaki clash for the last spot and Ajdin took the W home. A round before that, Jasik advanced to the playoffs together with Esad, rounding up the list of players.

The semifinals were set to start. Ajdin and arminho played against each other, and in the second semi, Jasik and esad1memic met to decide the second finalist. Two fantastic matches saw the better player qualify for the playoffs – esad1memic and Ajdin will join brstimir and amke2001 in the single-elimination finale of this FIFA21 A1 Adria League season.

We are a step closer to the A1 Adria League playoffs stage!

FIFA put an end to the qualifying cups and we are approaching the third mini playoffs cup. The other title we will cover today, Brawl Stars finished its twelfth qualifier and is now one qualifier away from the eight-team playoffs stage.

Brawl Stars

20 teams clashed in the second-to-last Brawl Stars qualifier. Good Game Red and Gold were eliminated earlier in the cup last time, but this time, they managed to hold their ground and reach the finals. Bad Boys bested OP KIFLE and FA Deadly outplayed Code Lyoko, while the two GG teams in the quarters were better than On-Fire (vs. Red) and Mystic Team1 (vs. Gold).

The semis saw two high-quality matches unfold. BadBoys faced Good Game Gold and FA Deadly were the team set to beat Good Game Red. Unfortunately for FA Deadly, GG Red were simply too good and secured one of the spots in the finals. GG Gold also showed BadBoys who dominated this season of Brawl Stars and eliminated them from the cup. In yet another GoldRed matchup, the Golden players took the biggest share of the points home.

The Brawl Stars rankings heading into the last qualifier are as follows:

The Hrvatski Telekom e-Liga begun, Esport Adria’s Adria Prvenstvo finished its first season and of course, we have been playing the qualifiers every weekend. Some players had their last chance of qualifying last weekend. esad1memic beat Bati and arminho bested erminjamak in the lower half of the quarterfinals.

JasikFifa and HRVoje also proceeded to the semis over Cano1911 and Djosa. After two great semis, JasikFifa and esad1memic met each other in the grand final of the last A1 Adria League FIFA qualifier. The reigning champion, esad1memic, won this duel secured the 100 points of the last qualifier.

A Macedonian derby to end the fourth CS:GO SWISS round!

The first part of the fourth SWISS CS:GO round was big for the Kosovar teams in the League. Blink and EAGLES two of the four playoffs spots, and unfortunately, eSportsKosova were eliminated from the tournament.

Blink vs. lvlUP

Probably the biggest derby in the region, Blink and lvlUP ended in favor of Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti’s team this time around. After a 5-1 lead for Blink, lvlUP caught up and tied the match. The first half ended with a 9-6 lead for the former. The Serbian powerhouse managed to come back and take a 10-6 lead on their CT side, but Blink’s players started dominating again and reached their 14th round without a problem. The match went to all 30 rounds, but in the end, Blink closed out Mirage with a close 16-14 victory.

Jon “b0r1” Nuredini’s 4k in the first pistol brought the round in favor of Blink. Even though Vertigo is one of the best maps for the Serbian champions, Blink were in great form and took this match in only two maps. After a 9-2 lead for the Kosovars, Miloš “dEE” Marčeta’s squad tried to go back into the game, but it was already too late. A 16-8 victory meant that Blink will be heading into the playoffs with a 3-1 record, joining Shock Bomb and the team that qualified after them, EAGLES.

eSportsKosova vs. EAGLES

The Kosovar duel between eSportsKosova and EAGLES started on Inferno. EAGLES had a great lead at the beginning of the half and managed to finish their T side with ten rounds. EAGLES’ weak CT side was severely punished by eSportsKosova who caught up to them (13-13), but a semi-buy in round 27 won the 14th round for Serdar “cerber” Mahmuti. Just like Blink’s first map, EAGLES barely escaped overtime and won Inferno 16-14.

Unlike lvlUP vs. Blink and their close Mirage game, this time, the match went to overtime. After both teams kept taking the lead, the regular part of the map ended in a 15-15 tie and we had the chance to watch overtime. EAGLES didn’t let the pressured get to them and closed the map 19-17.

Today, we will have the chance to watch a Macedonian derby between GODZ1337 and Good Game. Both of the teams currently have a 1-2 record and the loser of this match will be eliminated from the sixth season of the A1 Adria League.

Team AMG gets second win in a row; Team LAZR secures first place

The eighth round of Clash Royale confirmed to us that Team LAZR will be the number one team in this season’s group stage. They are still undefeated and with potentially two losses in the last two matchdays, they can still top the group.

Totem Esports and Team KFC were the first teams to enter the battlefield. Essentially, this was a fight for the fourth spot, which is the last one that leads to the playoffs.  Totem swiftly won 2v2 and 1v1 sets, but in KotH, Team KFC had the upper hand.

The fight for the top was next on the menu. Team LAZR and Flayn eSports gave us a fight worth watching. LAZR took home full prize in the 2v2 and Flayn did the same in KotH. The latter team started the 1v1 set with a win, but LAZR’s Neki Lik pulled himself together and secured a win for his team.

The last match of the day happened between Team AMG and Tribe Academy. Tribe took the lead in 2v2 set, but AMG managed to do a comeback and win. KotH was next and Team AMG showed us the potential that was lacking in the earlier stage. In the end, they won it and kept alive their chances of going to the playoffs.

Good Game’s squads eliminated in the quarterfinals; Ajdin977 triumphs in FIFA!

The eleventh Brawl Stars and the second-to-last FIFA qualifiers were played out during the previous week. Both of these titles are nearing the main playoffs stage and the competition is as fierce as ever.

Brawl Stars

The eleventh A1 Adria League Brawl Stars qualifier was filled with surprises. For the first time, a team different than one of the Good Game squads has finished first and earned the 100 winner’s points. The quarterfinals saw two massive upsets happened. First, team Inder Bot bested Good Game’s Red squad. FA Deadly outplayed Ekipa 69 and Code Lyoko were the better team in their match against O9 Gang.

The last quarterfinal match saw Good Game Gold eliminated by Bogisha69 and his Zabranjeni trio. The semis were pretty interesting. FA Deadly and Code Lyoko advanced and fought for the chance to be the first non-GG team to triumph in this Brawl Stars season. In the end, Code Lyoko came out on top and secured the first prize of the twelfth qualifier.

FIFA

The regional FIFA players have been busy recently. The first season of the Adria Prvenstvo league is on, and they are approaching the third FIFA playoffs cup. This qualifier began with two victories from discoluzer and Ajdin977 over Cano 1911 and Sivii7, respectively. JasikFifa was eliminated by FIFAFICO and esad1memic lost to Kalu R9.

FIFAFICO and Kalu R9 met each other in the semifinals. The Croatian player, FIFAFICO, lost the duel and in the other semi, Ajdin977 eliminated discoluzer. The third-place award went to FIFAFICO, while the winner of this qualifier was the Bosnian player, Ajdin977.

It’s time for the fourth CS:GO SWISS round!

The third A1 Adria League CS:GO round has concluded. After Shock Bomb advanced to the playoffs in the first Round 3 playday, we saw two great matches in the second weekend.

EAGLES and Good Game clashed in the first game. Nuke saw an interesting match with Good Game coming out on top in the end. The game was pretty close, with both teams taking the lead at times, but Jasmin “JasmiNhs” Murič’s squad managed to take the victory. EAGLES had prepared for Inferno thoroughly. The Macedonian team won only two rounds in the entirety of the second map and the match was even.

The decider, Inferno, started great for Good Game – with a 4-0 lead. The Kosovar team quickly tied the game and proceeded to take the lead and finish the half 8-7 in their favor. Good Game started the second half with a great round streak, but EAGLES couldn’t let them complete the comeback. Serdar “cerber” Mahmuti and his team closed out the final map 16-12.

The second game was the 0-2 duel between GODZ1337 and Krsko. This match didn’t go to the third map, but instead, GODZ1337 closed it out in two. After an initial 5-1 lead for the Slovenian-Croatian mix, GODZ finished the half with a 10-5 scoreline. In the end, the Macedonian team managed to slip past Krsko who managed to come back and take the lead at 13-13. The match ended 16-14 in favor of GODZ who were a step closer to eliminating their opponents.

One more 16-14 loss for Krsko meant that Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić and his team would be leaving the sixth A1 Adria League season in dead last. GODZ1337 are currently in the 1-2 pool and will be facing Good Game in the next round.

Team AMG get their maiden win!

Clash Royale is back after another week of break. Few changes have happened since our meeting last time. BCBG Esports’ roster is now under a different name  – Team LAZR. Fortunately, they only changed their name and not their playstyle.

Totem Esports and Team LAZR were the first ones to step on the battlefield. Totem was superior in the 2v2 set, taking the game without breaking a sweat. Both teams were trading blows in KotH, but LAZR edged it out so we headed into the last set – 1v1. LAZR’s Neki Lik managed to triumph over Totem’s Davorin and secured a seventh win in a row for his team.

Next up were Team AMG and Team KFC. Team AMG took the lead in the 2v2, but Team KFC quickly responded with a comeback. We then went into KotH, where AMG’s Oresti secured his squad a win. After a tough battle in the last set, Team AMG came out victorious and got their first win in this season’s group stage.

The last match of the day happened between Tribe Academy and Flayn eSports. Tribe swiftly went through the 2v2 and then Flayn did the same in KotH. The third 1v1 of the day didn’t disappoint. Flayn took the initial lead, Tribe responded well and we’ve had an amazing third game. Fortunately for Flayn eSports, they managed to return home with a full prize.

FIFA and Brawl Stars are back – these are the results!

We are back on track with the League after a one-week long delay. FIFA had its first FIFA21 qualifier played out, while Brawl Stars closed out qualifier number 11.

Brawl Stars

The eight best teams in the qualifier reached the quarterfinal stage without any difficulties. 09 Gang matched up with Noobs, while FA Deadly faced BadBoys. Noobs managed to win the game against 09 Gang and FA Deadly showed great individual skill versus BadBoys. Ekipa 69 and Code Lyoko had quarterfinal matches against Good Game Gold and Red, respectively. As expected, the GG teams managed to pass this obstacle and reach the semis.

The Good Game derby happened once again in the semifinals of this cup. After a couple of wins by the Red squad, this time, it was Good Game Gold that won the match and advanced to the finals. FA Deadly followed suit and joined the finals, but Sabasniper’s squad couldn’t stand up to Good Game Gold.

The Brawl Stars rankings after the 11th cup are as follows:

FIFA

FIFA was back with the third trio of qualifiers. As FIFA21 came out, the remaining qualifiers will be played on the new version of the game. The seventh qualifier was dominated by Bosnian players with five out of the eight quarterfinalists being Bosnian. Ajdin977 was better than Erminjamak while esad1memic bested Bati.

Arminho and DziDziAnlaki secured the last semifinal spots after victories versus Stojanov_99 and Tana, respectively. In the Bosnian semifinals, esad1memic outplayed his countryman, Ajdin977, and advanced to the finals. DziDziAnlaki lost his match versus Arminho but managed to beat Ajdin in the third-place decider. Arminho was crowned the champion of this week’s FIFA qualifier as he came out on top against the current champion, esad1memic.
