lvlUP win their third consecutive A1 Adria League season!

Four teams, Blink, EAGLES, lvlUP and 4glory played the playoffs of the sixth A1 Adria League CS:GO season. Saturday was filled with amazing CS:GO action, and in the end, lvlUP reclaimed their title – for the third time in a row.

The playoffs were played out on Sunday and the Kosovar derby between Blink and EAGLES started the CS:GO-packed day. Blink and Genc “gxx-“ Kolgeci looked really confident on Train, where the vice-champions managed to secure a 16-9 win. Next up was Mirage, the map-pick of EAGLES. Blink were even better on the second map and they saw their opponents win only five rounds before taking them down.

Next up, lvlUP and 4glory, the former Shock Bomb team, crossed swords. On their map-pick, Nuke, lvlUP, had a dominant 11-4 half on the T side. 4glory’s T side started with a three-round streak, but Dimitrije “DiMKE” Veljković & co. quickly shut down 4glory’s momentum and closed out the map 16-8. lvlUP took a five-round lead at the beginning of Mirage. 4glory managed to come back in the game and see the half end with a small 7-8 deficit. The game was close until the very end where the current champions won the game in the last round of regulation.

While the third-place decider was played off-stream, we had the chance to watch the Grand Finals of the sixth A1 Adria League season live. Blink and lvlUP met each other in the finals for the third season in a row, and for the third time, lvlUP’s core reigned supreme. Blink’s weak CT side on Inferno lost them the game after only 22 rounds. They had a 5-10 deficit in the first half, but a better CT side would have let them come closer to the champions. The second map was Mirage and Blink played a bit better. After having a five-round difference, just like on Inferno, Blink were unable to come back and ended the finals with yet another loss (16-10).

In the third-place decided, 4glory outplayed EAGLES and earned their first bronze medal for the organization. The sixth A1 Adria League season ended with these team placements:

The second CS:GO season of this year is coming to its final stage. A1 Adria League’s sixth season featuring the best FPS competitive game in the industry will see its playoffs stage finish today.

After a great fifth season, lvlUP and Blink, the highest-placed teams secured a direct invite to the sixth season. With €11.000 on the line, lvlUP and Blink, along with the six qualified teams were ready to begin the SWISS portion of the season. The main difference besides the prize pool was a slight, but very important, format change.

ALL matches in the SWISS league were played as BO3 series – we felt that this format is the best way to determine the teams that really deserve the chance to compete in the playoffs. We as viewers had plenty of fun during the last months, and the players had the chance to once again take a part in the greatest regional Counter-Strike league.

With the fifth SWISS round coming to an end, the teams for the playoffs were known. Shock Bomb, now playing as 4gl, upset the favorites – Blink and lvlUP and finished this stage with a perfect 3-0 record. Two Kosovar teams, EAGLES and Blink followed suit, and in the end, the reigning champions beat Good Game to snatch the last playoffs spot.

A Kosovar derby will start the day. At 14 o’clock Blink and EAGLES will face each other – two brothers on opposite teams, Serdar “cerber” Mahmuti against Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti for a spot in the finals. The other matchup won’t disappoint either. Luka “c0llins” Živanović will face his former teammates in lvlUP. As the season 4 & 5 champions will be parting ways with Miloš “dEE” Marčeta and Dimitrije “DiMKE” Veljković after the playoffs, the pressure is on 4gl to deliver. Expectations are high, especially now, when the team signed a contract with 4glory.

A single-elimination four-team bracket will determine the season six winners. While the third-place decider will be played off-stream, the Grand Finals will be available for everyone to watch on A1 Adria League’s Twitch & YouTube channels (20:00).

From top players to casters and streamers, our scene has produced a number of talented people that represent our region throughout the world. Every single person that has made a career out of esports, whether on a regional or international level, has a different story to tell.

During the Reboot Online Games Week we will have the chance to hear the background stories of some of the most prominent names of our esports scene. How did they get into gaming? What were their first steps in the industry? MOJA PRIČA will have the answer as well as the answers to many more questions concerning the careers of regional esports personalities that have in some way shaped the scene for the better.

Starting on Monday and up until Friday, we will hear a total of seven pieces about journalists, players, and streamers alike. First on our list is Sanda “Sansen” Mamić – a PUBG shoutcaster, host, and of course, player. Tuesday will see the stories of yet another PUBG personality – Maro “sprEEEzy” Miličević as well as the story of Zvonimir “Professeur” Burazin, a senior writer for the world’s biggest CS:GO site – HLTV.org

Luka “level” Marušić is an esports journalist that has been involved with the A1 Adria League project on multiple occasions. He is currently a part of CR4ZY and is helping the organization with the production of great content as well as their League of Legends project. Leon “neLo” Pesić as one of the best R6 players in the world has a number of trophies behind his name, including the title of Pro League Season 10 champion. You will learn more about these players on Wednesday at 15 and 17 o’clock respectively.

On Thursday and Friday, we will hear the stories of Lavvek and PvtMole. The first name that we think of when mention Brawl Stars in the region is Lavvek’s. The Croatian player that is currently playing for Good Game has had massive success on the international and regional level. We will learn more about FIFA21 & Clash Royale YouTuber and A1 Adria League caster, PvtMole, on Friday. Tune in at 14 o’clock on both days if you would like to hear more about the people that have been and are still shaping our scene.

The second part of the next week will mostly be dedicated to the playoffs of the sixth A1 Adria League season. While we are waiting for this year’s A1Adria League culmination, we prepared plenty of content along with Reboot for you.

We recently announced STREAM UŽIVO – five esports personalities from the region will be streaming their games of choice on our channels. But we have also prepared two great tournaments for you, our fans and players, to compete in and win some amazing rewards while having a lot of fun.

CS:GO 2v2 Wingman

The CS:GO playoffs will be played during the upcoming weekend, Saturday to be exact, but we have prepared a small competition for our CS:GO fans – to pass the time until the finals start. On Monday (23.11.2020), A1 Adria League will be hosting a 2v2 Wingman tournament on FACEIT. You and your best teammate will need to sign up on the platform and join the tournament.

The best three duos will get their share of the €300 prize pool. The tournament will feature Wingman maps such as Short Nuke, Cobblestone, Vertigo, Inferno, Overpass, Train, and Short Dust. 64 duos will be able to join the tournament so hurry up before all the spots are filled up!

eFootball PES2021

Between the fifth and sixth seasons of the League, we hosted a PES2020 tournament together with PesExpert. We had the chance to see that our Pro Evolution Soccer scene is as big as ever and the e-football players that prefer PES are eager to play tournaments. PesExpert will once again help us with organizing a PES cup, with €300 on the line this time.

A total of 64 Croatian players will be able to sign up for the tournament. The cup will be played on the 25th of November and it will start at 17 o’clock. The knockout format and Home&Away rules will determine the winner of this PlayStation 4 PES2021 tournament.

The players will communicate with the admins and between each other on our Discord server. From the moment the Round of 16 begins, the remaining players may be asked to stream the matches that will be broadcasted on PlanetSport, GameBar along with other platforms. That’s why it is required for you to have the needed requirements for streaming matches from your consoles.

The best PES2021 players will split the prize pool in the following manner:

A Macedonian derby to end the fourth CS:GO SWISS round!

The first part of the fourth SWISS CS:GO round was big for the Kosovar teams in the League. Blink and EAGLES two of the four playoffs spots, and unfortunately, eSportsKosova were eliminated from the tournament.

Blink vs. lvlUP

Probably the biggest derby in the region, Blink and lvlUP ended in favor of Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti’s team this time around. After a 5-1 lead for Blink, lvlUP caught up and tied the match. The first half ended with a 9-6 lead for the former. The Serbian powerhouse managed to come back and take a 10-6 lead on their CT side, but Blink’s players started dominating again and reached their 14th round without a problem. The match went to all 30 rounds, but in the end, Blink closed out Mirage with a close 16-14 victory.

Jon “b0r1” Nuredini’s 4k in the first pistol brought the round in favor of Blink. Even though Vertigo is one of the best maps for the Serbian champions, Blink were in great form and took this match in only two maps. After a 9-2 lead for the Kosovars, Miloš “dEE” Marčeta’s squad tried to go back into the game, but it was already too late. A 16-8 victory meant that Blink will be heading into the playoffs with a 3-1 record, joining Shock Bomb and the team that qualified after them, EAGLES.

eSportsKosova vs. EAGLES

The Kosovar duel between eSportsKosova and EAGLES started on Inferno. EAGLES had a great lead at the beginning of the half and managed to finish their T side with ten rounds. EAGLES’ weak CT side was severely punished by eSportsKosova who caught up to them (13-13), but a semi-buy in round 27 won the 14th round for Serdar “cerber” Mahmuti. Just like Blink’s first map, EAGLES barely escaped overtime and won Inferno 16-14.

Unlike lvlUP vs. Blink and their close Mirage game, this time, the match went to overtime. After both teams kept taking the lead, the regular part of the map ended in a 15-15 tie and we had the chance to watch overtime. EAGLES didn’t let the pressured get to them and closed the map 19-17.

Today, we will have the chance to watch a Macedonian derby between GODZ1337 and Good Game. Both of the teams currently have a 1-2 record and the loser of this match will be eliminated from the sixth season of the A1 Adria League.

It’s time for the fourth CS:GO SWISS round!

The third A1 Adria League CS:GO round has concluded. After Shock Bomb advanced to the playoffs in the first Round 3 playday, we saw two great matches in the second weekend.

EAGLES and Good Game clashed in the first game. Nuke saw an interesting match with Good Game coming out on top in the end. The game was pretty close, with both teams taking the lead at times, but Jasmin “JasmiNhs” Murič’s squad managed to take the victory. EAGLES had prepared for Inferno thoroughly. The Macedonian team won only two rounds in the entirety of the second map and the match was even.

The decider, Inferno, started great for Good Game – with a 4-0 lead. The Kosovar team quickly tied the game and proceeded to take the lead and finish the half 8-7 in their favor. Good Game started the second half with a great round streak, but EAGLES couldn’t let them complete the comeback. Serdar “cerber” Mahmuti and his team closed out the final map 16-12.

The second game was the 0-2 duel between GODZ1337 and Krsko. This match didn’t go to the third map, but instead, GODZ1337 closed it out in two. After an initial 5-1 lead for the Slovenian-Croatian mix, GODZ finished the half with a 10-5 scoreline. In the end, the Macedonian team managed to slip past Krsko who managed to come back and take the lead at 13-13. The match ended 16-14 in favor of GODZ who were a step closer to eliminating their opponents.

One more 16-14 loss for Krsko meant that Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić and his team would be leaving the sixth A1 Adria League season in dead last. GODZ1337 are currently in the 1-2 pool and will be facing Good Game in the next round.

Who will join Shock Bomb in the CS:GO playoffs?

The third A1 Adria League CS:GO round began and we finally saw the first team qualify for the playoffs. Shock Bomb qualified after a stunning win against the Kosovar team Blink.

After a surprising loss against Shock Bomb, lvlUP were paired against eSportsKosova. eSportsKosova had a dominant start on Dust2. They managed to win seven rounds before lvlUP started coming back in the game. The result was soon 9-9 and Aleksa “Impulse” Stankić led his team to a 16-11 victory with a 4k and a clutch in the final round.

The BO3 headed into Vertigo where the Kosovar team once again had a solid start. The half ended pretty evenly with an 8-7 lead for lvlUP and it was time for us to see eSportsKosova’s CT side. Unfortunately, the Kosovar team disappointed and managed to secure only two rounds in the second half. lvlUP closed out the game with a 16-9 result and secured their second victory in the League.

Shock Bomb once again matched against one of the favorites in the League. This time, their opponents were Blink who finished the last season in second place. Just like the first BO3 of the day, this match started out on Dust2. The game was pretty close, with both of the teams taking the lead at times. In the end, the game went to double overtime and Blink came out as the winners.

Ivan “pTKKK” Popov and his team were 0-1 down so it was time for another comeback. An 11-4 half for the Serbian squad promised a quick map, but Blink quickly came back to 11-11. However, the Season 5 runner-ups couldn’t win any more rounds and lost the map 11-16. Just like every BO3 ever, the decider map in this match was Inferno. Shock Bomb had a 7-0 lead before Blink responded. This time, the map ended quickly. A 12-3 half for Shock Bomb perfectly described Shock Bomb’s dominance with the team ending the map with a 16-11 victory.

Shock Bomb have become the first team to qualify for the A1 Adria League S6 playoffs. These are the current standings:

Every week we have the chance to see the best of the four titles that this A1 Adria League season features. CS:GO’s SWISS stage is looking more competitive than ever, while Clash Royale’s groups are halfway done. FIFA is slowly transitioning to the new FIFA21 title, while the Brawl Stars teams are consistently putting up great fights in the qualifying process.

In order to provide a bit of refreshment for our competitive teams, and with the COVID-19 situation in our mind, we have decided to postpone the A1 Adria League tournament for one week. In the meantime, our team will invest additional efforts into the situation concerning the Grand Finals stage that we are actively trying to tackle.

The only exception is the Brawl Stars tournament, which will see its previously delayed qualifier be played out, the other three titles will sit out this week. On Thursday, the delayed Brawl Stars qualifier will be played out. Teams are gathering in huge numbers and we will once again see some great action from the regional Brawlers. We will see teams try to rise up to the Good Game squads once again, while the fight for the last of the eight spots becomes more fierce than ever.

Shock Bomb breezed through the SWISS CS: GO stage, brstimir and amke2001 secured spots in the FIFA playoffs, while BCBG is currently dominating in Clash Royale. We couldn’t be more excited to see what will happen next week, and until then, enjoy the upcoming Brawl Stars action and all the highlights that this season of the A1 Adria League can offer.

Shock Bomb upset lvlUP in the second SWISS round!

Two more matches brought the second CS:GO SWISS round to an end. GODZ1337 will now fight for survival, while Shock Bomb secured an upset and advanced to the 2-0 pool.

The first match of this playday saw the new Macedonian squad, GODZ1337 face off against EAGLES, who were playing the League as MiKS up to this playday. The Kosovar team started Inferno with a quick 5-0 lead, but Kristijan “kiLLeRa” Kukovski earned the first point for his team after a great 3k hold on the CT side. The teams were suddenly neck to neck at 6-6 and GODZ managed to close out the half with a 8-7 scoreline. GODZ1337 proceeded to lose a 15-11 lead and take the game into overtime. EAGLES were able to take four rounds in the first overtime and secure a 1-0 lead in the BO3 series.

After a great 7-2 start for the Macedonians, EAGLES came back and managed to win 6 rounds in the first half. GODZ however, quickly shut their opponents down and closed out the map 16-6. The BO3 headed into Dust2, and it was a bloodbath. The match was close until the very end, but a great B site defense secured the Kosovars the 15th round and let them secure overtime. Even though Blaže “HEv1x” Hristov was playing like a beast and got 38 kills, EAGLES won the BO3 and slipped into the 1-1 pool.

The absolute biggest upset in the past two seasons happened in the duel between Shock Bomb and lvlUP. lvlUP dominated the first map, Vertigo. Miloš “dEE” Marčeta and his team won 13 rounds on the CT side and quickly closed out the map with a 16-6 victory. What happened after Vertigo surprised everyone. The Click N Play 2020 champions, Shock Bomb, ended Dust2’s CT side with a 9-6 lead. The team’s great plan on the T side proved to work like a charm and they were a step closer to winning the BO3.

lvlUP won the first two rounds on Inferno, but Shock Bomb answered back with five. Ivan “pTKKK” Popov and his squad shocked everyone with a great T side half on Inferno. After a 9-6 lead, they managed to win three more rounds, but lvlUP tried to catch up to them. They were really close to bringing the map in their favor, but Shock Bomb beat the champions after all. A 16-11 victory meant that lvlUP will be heading into the 1-1 pool, while Shock Bomb are going to be a part of the 2-0 part of the table.

CS:GO’s A1 Adria League continued with two interesting matches that saw two Kosovar teams triumph without much difficulties.

Krško opened the second round with a match against eSportsKosova. After a good showing versus Good Game, Tilen “Grmek” Grmek and Krško were destroyed by one of the Kosovar teams in the League. The first half of Dust2 ended 13-2 in favor of Blend “v1w” Bunjaku’s team and the Slovenian-Croatian squad couldn’t win a single round in the second half. Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić’s Krško weren’t any better on the second map, Inferno, and the team quickly secured a spot in the 0-2 pool. eSportsKosova will now be joining the 1-1 part of the League, together with Good Game.

Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski’s Macedonian quintet lost the duel versus Blink. The match went to all three maps and after an initial win from Good Game, Blink turned the game around and secured yet another victory. Blink’s pick, Mirage, was a tight map that ended in a victory for Good Game. Both of the teams had really good plays, but in the end, three great plays from GG’s individuals won them the first map. Even though the first map promised a great BO3 series, Blink stomped their opponents in the next two maps. Ernest “xhoci” Xhoci was on fire and together with Genc “gxx-” Kolgeci they dominated the competition.

The second part of the second SWISS round will see two excellent matchups. GODZ1337 meets MiKS (EAGLES) in the first match of the day, and lvlUP will face Shock Bomb immediately after. Tune in and watch the biggest regional esports League on our Twitch channel!
