Another week of A1 Adria League is ahead of us. Three SWISS stages are already underway, and League of Legend’s regional playoffs stage is finally HERE.

Brawl Stars

Two Brawl Stars rounds are already behind us, and this is the week when we will see the first decider matches of the season. Currently, Salada de Frutas and Winx Club find themselves at the top and one of them will advance to the playoffs on Thursday. On the other side, either Balkan Talents or QuickMind will have to leave the competition after the next playday. Brawl Stars begins on Thursday at the usual time, and you will have the chance to watch the following matches:

FIFA

Just a day behind Brawl Stars, FIFA also finished the second round last week. In our football simulation, Esad “esad1memic” Memić and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac are currently in the lead. Their derby will determine the first playoff participant, while the match between Emir “Sulja” Suljović and Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo will determine which player will look for his chance to win the trophy next season. League of Legends

Over the last month, we hosted a total of four qualifiers for League of Legends teams from all over the region. Four weeks later and here we are – right before the beginning of the regional playoffs stage. This Saturday, the first matches of this stage will be broadcast and we will start our journey of finding the new regional LoL champion. These are the eight teams that qualified for this season of the A1 Adria League:

CS:GO

Sunday was the day when we said goodbye to Zero Tenacity. The organization that just entered CS:GO unfortunately had to leave the league after suffering a 1-2 loss to their opponents, JESTE. Going forward to Round 4, Marten Gaming and JESTE will fight for survival, while PORTUGAL will try to enter the playoffs by defeating SKUAK Gaming. Make sure to tune in to the stream on Sunday and support your favorite teams once again:

choiv7, iNation: “I think 4glory, Marten and BLUEJAYS will make it to playoffs”

Last week it was League of Legends, and now we are back to CS:GO. Ivan “choiv7” Živković, iNation’s In-Game Leader, talked to us about his team’s first A1 Adria League season, their perfect SWISS stage as well as other things related to iNation’s development and recent results. You can read everything choiv7 had to say below:

Before focusing on A1 Adria League, let’s talk about your recent results. You qualified for the IESF World Championship LAN in Israel. How did that whole tournament go? Seeing the rest of the qualified teams, what do you think your chances are of placing high or even winning the whole thing?

Our group was a decent one I would say, we had to beat either [EC] Kyiv or Czech Republic to get out of the groups, so we beat the Czechs and unfortunately lost to Kyiv 2-1. We had one day to prepare for every match which was enough I would say and we were really hyped for every match we played. there are good teams that qualified for the main event, we will see how it goes, but i believe that we can get to the end of the tournament, atleast finish in the top 4.

Back to the A1 Adria League. It seems like you have an easier time against BLUEJAYS than their rivals, PORTUGAL. You beat them in the League, and you were better than them in Kuvo’s OneTap tournament. What is the main difference between these two squads? Why does playing BLUEJAYS seem easier? Is their playstyle not suited to yours or is it something else?

BLUEJAYS are really good opponents and also a good team. Against teams that play structured CS like them it is much easier to have a plan and prepare before the game so we were really prepared for them. The main difference between PORTUGAL and BLUEJAYS is that the former is a mix and the other team is a regular team. If mix team stars pressuring you from the start and you can’t addapt, it is really hard to come back and stop their momentum.

After losing to them on two occasions, you finally outplayed PORTUGAL. What makes PORTUGAL such a hard team to beat? What did you do differently in this match that helped you win?

For us main problem against mix teams is adaptation, we rarely play against mix teams and we need to learn to adapt faster when that happens. We make a lot of mistakes and they punish us for that. This last match, we were down 1-0 on their map pick and before the 2nd map we just told each other to adapt faster and talk more in TeamSpeak about what they are doing so we can all be focused, which happend, and we didn’t lose any force/eco rounds like on Map 1.

Which team surprised you the most this season and why?

In my opinion, there are no surprises in this season. There are 5-6 teams that are equal, and I’m happy that we are the first team that qualified because it’s hard to say which teams will qualify for top4.

 Besides you, which three teams do you think will make it through to the playoffs?

I think 4glory, Marten and BLUEJAYS will make it to playoffs because they are all well prepared. I can’t wait to see the remaining matches!

This week in A1AL: Two spots remain in the LoL league!

Ahead of us is the week that will decide the final two League of Legends teams. In the meantime, CS:GO, FIFA and Brawl Stars continue with the SWISS stage.

Brawl Stars

The first Brawl Stars round was indeed a quick one. Every single one of the four played matches ended with a clean sweep for the favorite team. With no upsets in Round 1, the leaderboard is currently split in half with the dominant teams claiming the 1-0 spots. This week, four new matches will decide which teams will go a step closer to elimination or the playoffs, respectively. Salada de Frutas versus Lightning Strike and Omert4 vs Winx Club – which two teams will advance to the 2-0 pool? What about the matches in the 0-1 SWISS pool? Here are the four matches in this second round:

FIFA

Similar to Brawl Stars, there weren’t major upsets in the first FIFA22 SWISS round either. However, the matches were definitely much closer than in Supercell’s arena brawler and we are eagerly expecting Friday, when the second round will take place. Once again, Tarik “amke2001” Novo and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac will be paired against each other. Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar will try to defeat Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo, while Harun “Hara” Parla’s opponent this playday will be Esad “esad1memic” Memić. And in the very end, Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak will try to get his first win for this season versus Emir “Sulja13” Suljović.

CS:GO

We are halfway done with the third CS:GO round and we already know the first playoffs team. That team is none other than iNation, the A1 Adria League first-timers who beat PORTUGAL in the deciding BO3 duel. The second Serbian team that competed in that playday, 4glory, also took a W last Sunday, and their victims were SKUAK Gaming. This week, one of our matches will be between 1-1 teams – Marten Gaming and BLUEJAYS. While it is an important match, everything isn’t on the line yet for these teams. The same can’t be said about JESTE and Young Glorians (who recently became a part of Zero Tenacity).

League of Legends

One qualifier separates us from the regional League of Legends playoffs. That means that the Adriatic teams have only one more chance to make it through to the League. Last time, Fantastic Esports and Mafija Lebrinyja triumphed over every other team in the qualifiers and secured the fifth and sixth League spots. 4glory triumphed in the match against SKUAK, while iNation became the first playoffs team for this season!

The derby between SKUAK and 4glory began on Inferno, 4glory’s map pick. The Albanian side recently went through some changes in their roster and now, players that used to be a part of the team earlier this year will defend the organization’s banner once again. 4glory weren’t ready to repeat the mistakes they did against PORTUGAL once again. They played a calm Inferno and held their ground during the entire map, eventually winning it with a 16-10 scoreline. The BO3 continued on Mirage and the situation wasn’t any better for SKUAK. 4glory kept up with the great performance and closed out the duel with a 16-10 victory.

Next up, the winners’ Round 3 match was here for us to watch. PORTUGAL and iNation, two undefeated teams in this season, played the same two maps as 4glory and SKUAK, but in reverse order. Alexander “br0” Bro carried his team on Mirage and mostly because of him, PORTUGAL had an incredible string of rounds in the beginning. Later on, iNation caught up, but Macedonians successfully closed out Mirage. What followed after was one-sided domination by iNation, who won both Inferno and Dust2 while losing a total of eight rounds. Inferno ended with a 16-6 score, and Dust2 was even quicker – 16:2. This week in A1AL: Brawl Stars & FIFA begin the SWISS stage!

After CS:GO did so less than a month ago, it is now time to begin the Brawl Stars and FIFA SWISS groups for the season!

Brawl Stars

Recently we announced the teams that will participate in this SWISS stage. Salada de Frutas, Omert4, BalkanTalents, Winx Club, Lightning Strike, Mayoi, QuickMind, and Dominjo carry. We will have the chance to watch those eight names compete in the following month. Inder45 will be joined by SupremeNexus on the casting position and we are all ready to witness the best Brawl Stars action in the region.

A week before Brawl Stars, we got to know all eight FIFA participants. We will see which FIFA player will adapt the best to the new edition of the game, FIFA22. Half the job in the qualifying stage is done. So far, four of the available spots were filled out. Lupus eSports, Metamoon, Harmony, and 49% winrate have officially become a part of our second League of Legends season in a long time. Two more qualifiers remain, and one of them will be played out this Saturday.

Over 35.000kn are up for grabs in the Croatian Red Bull Flick 2021 qualifiers!

Red Bull Flick is back with the second edition of its 2v2 tournament, and once again, Croatian players will be able to compete and play against the very best players.

Red Bull Flick 2021 brings a unique format!

We are used to watching Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments featuring the standard Bomb Defusal mode. So just the fact that Red Bull Flick is a 2v2 tournament makes it unique by itself, but there is much more behind this competition. Namely, duos from all over the world will participate in national and regional qualifiers to earn a spot in the main event which will be held in Helsinki and has a prize pool of 50.000€. The eight maps featured in this tournament have been designed by Red Bull just for this mode, which means that the quality is of the highest level.

The format of Red Bull Flick 2021 will be a modified team-deathmatch which will see teams try to remain on the leaderboard longer than their opponents. Both teams start the match with 100 points each, and the points gradually decrease over time. For every kill over an enemy player, the opposing team loses a point. However, the main way of deducting enemy points is holding capture points – while a player stands on a capture point, their team won’t lose points, while the opposing team will.

How can Croatian players participate?

Croatian players will once again be able to be a part of this Red Bull Flick adventure. The journey starts with the national qualifiers which will culminate in a LAN environment. Falkensteiner hotel in Zadar will host the 2v2 finals which are set to feature four duos. The team that outplays the competition on the 10th of October will be the Croatian representatives for this iteration of the tournament. The next step of the road to Helsinki will be the regional qualifiers and if our players manage to qualify for the main event, they will play against professional as well as qualified players from all over the world in Helsinki. While the 50.000€ prize pool for the main event is awesome by itself, the generous partners of Red Bull Flick in Croatia have dedicated incredible awards for the national qualifiers as well.

The Macedonian teams begin the season with a win!

PORTUGAL and BLUEJAYS have outplayed Marten Gaming and JESTE, respectively, in our second Round 1 playday.

Our first match was a real spectacle. Rescheduled to 13:00 as Marten Gaming had the finals of the CS:GO BIH League later today, PORTUGAL vs. Marten Gaming started off the day with a blast. Anel “NENO” Ceković and his team dominated Marten in the first half of Mirage, Marten’s map pick, having a nine-round streak before their opponents could win one round. The half ended 11-4 in favor of PORTUGAL, but what happened next was miraculous. An absolutely perfect T side from  Petar “HOLMES” Dimitrijević’s new team secured them every single round of the second half, along with the entire map (16-11).

On Vertigo, PORTUGAL was the team that managed to do a comeback, although this one was of smaller proportions. After losing the first stages of the game 5-1, the Macedonian team won the half 9-6. Marten took the lead on the T side again, but PORTUGAL weren’t ready to lose yet another lead. They gave it their best and closed off Vertigo 16-14. Just like their T side on Mirage, PORTUGAL’s Nuke T side was brilliant. Dejan “Katalic” Koprivica & co. won only four rounds on their CT side. Marten had a good run in the second half, but Alexander “br0” Bro successfully lead his team to victory in the final map.

Our second duel of the day wasn’t short of surprises either. We watched Vertigo once again, but the course of this match was vastly different than the previous one. Where both teams dominated halves in our first match, this time, both JESTE and BLUEJAYS kept winning rounds and kept the game tied the entire time. In the end, we went to overtime and Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski and BLUEJAYS won Vertigo. Inferno was no different. BLUEJAYS reached 15 first but were unable to finish the game in regulation. We watched overtime again, and this time, the winning team was JESTE.

The final map of the day was Mirage. Even though both teams were exhausted from the previous two maps, we still watched a great game. We watched overtime for the third time, with BLUEJAYS taking the final map in their favor. You can watch today’s playday below:

 

This week in A1AL: More cups, more points, more games!

CS:GO’s first SWISS round is coming to an end, and in the meantime, FIFA and Brawl Stars will crown their fourth qualifier’s winners this week.

Brawl Stars

We have a slight map change for this week of Brawl Stars. Instead of Brawl Ball, our regional squads will be playing Bounty. Last week, Salada de Frutas claimed first place after their second consecutive win for this season. Winx Club are currently second with 150 points, and Omert4 are trailing behind by only 10 points. It has been a whole month since the qualifiers started, and we are slowly starting to round up the teams that will participate in this season’s SWISS stage. This week, one Brawl Stars player talked about the current season and his expectations for the League. This is what Protić from Omert4 had to say:

“Hello, I am protić from team Omerta. I am playing together with Bogdan and Brankec. We are currently third which has been good enough so far, but we are sure that we could have done better because we lost important matches to small mistakes. We could maybe have been first or second, but we are satisfied with our placement seeing as the competition is much tougher in this season and a lot of good new teams appeared. Of course, our biggest rivals for the season are Salada de Frutas and Winx Club, and I would also add Lightning Strike here. They started playing together this season and they are already looking great. They are currently placed fourth and they are really close to the other teams.

As far as my expectations are concerned, if we continue with this form, I believe that we will reach the very final stages of the tournament – at least top 4. After that, nothing is certain, as all teams there will be very good and there will be a number of intense matches that could easily end both ways. With enough practice and preparations, I am sure that we could reach the finals and maybe even win the whole league. I just want to say that I am eagerly awaiting the next qualifiers and I wish good luck to all the other teams!”

There are only two FIFA qualifiers remaining. After the qualifying phase comes to an end, the best eight players will play a SWISS group stage, but in the new edition of the franchise, FIFA22. Our reigning champion, Tarik “amke2001” Novo continued with his great performance in the third qualifier where he defeated Esad “esad1memic” Memić in the grand finals. The latter played is currently ranked second, together with Đorđe “JasikFIFA” Cumbo (both players have 130 points). Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Harun “Hara” Parla are close to the aforementioned players and they are looking to close the difference in the upcoming qualifier.

CS:GO

iNation, SKUAK, 4glory, and Young Glorians. Those are the names of the four teams that played the very first CS:GO playday for this eighth season of Counter-Strike. The iNation squad led by Ivan “choiv7” Živković faced Bledar “BledarD” Dula & SKUAK in a fierce BO3 which saw the former came out as winners after two maps. The same thing happened in 4glory’s match, but with much more difficulties. Namely, Young Glorians nearly upset 4glory on two occasions, taking the game to overtime both times. In the end, 4glory’s experience reigned supreme and they closed out the match in their favor. This week, the first SWISS round continues. PORTUGAL is going to challenge Marten Gaming, while BLUEJAYS will play versus JESTE.

GOOD IS NOT ENOUGH; beat the best in the 8th season of A1 Adria League!

The summer break is slowly coming to an end which means that it is time to announce the new season of the A1 Adria League. Players from all over the region have had plenty of time to improve their skills, work on teamplay, fix their previous mistakes, and prepare for the beginning of Season 8. The game roster remains the same – CS:GO, League of Legends, Brawl Stars, and FIFA will be available to the regional esport athletes in the following months, whether to participate in the league or just follow the action. A1 Adria League is slowly becoming a pillar of the regional Brawl Stars scene, while FIFA is bigger than ever. CS:GO keeps impressing us time and time again and will be featured for the eighth time this season, while League of Legends’ re-introduction to the A1 Adria League made us remember older memories and eagerly expect the upcoming two seasons.

Dimitrije “DiMKE” Veljković has become the undisputed regional CS:GO champion for the fourth time in a row. Split Raiders were on another level and dominated the competition in League of Legends. Tarik “amke2001” Novo was crowned the back-to-back FIFA champion, and last, but most certainly not least, one of the Noble Elite teams, BLK, outplayed the Brawl Stars teams.

Brawl Stars

With small differences compared to the previous season, Brawl Stars is back once again. We keep stating how Brawl Stars is growing in the region day by day, and that has never been more true than right now. There are enormous amounts of teams playing and competing to reach the next competitive level. A1 Adria League is here to help the players in their journey, as seen recently with the Clash of Leagues where we sent two regional teams to the prestigious tournament.

Two more qualifiers will be added to the qualifying stage of the eighth season. With the total number now being six, teams will have more chances to earn points and qualify for the SWISS stage. Once again, we are featuring a BO5/BO3 SWISS stage which will guarantee that only the very best teams make it through to the double-elimination playoffs.

The 16 best teams of every cup will earn points which will be split in the following manner:

First place – 100 points
Second place – 70 points
Third and fourth place – 50 points
Fifth to eight place – 20 points
Ninth to sixteenth place – 10 points

FIFA

Just like Season 5, this season’s FIFA league will take place during the usual transitional period for the franchise. Regional FIFA players will play a similar format as Supercell’s Brawl Stars. This has been an exciting year for the regional scene which has had plenty of tournaments so far, and we are sure that the players have prepared well for the eighth A1 Adria League season.

The five open qualifiers will boast a BO2 single elimination bracket with the semifinal and final matches being BO3. After the qualifiers come to an end, the SWISS league participants will transition to FIFA22. The new FIFA22 will be the home of the A1 Adria League during the SWISS stage (BO3) and the playoffs of the league (double-elimination BO3).

Depending on their results, the top 16 players will receive points after every qualifier comes to an end:

First place – 100 points
Second place – 70 points
Third place – 50 points
Fourth place – 40 points
Fifth to eight place – 20 points
Ninth to sixteenth place – 10 points

Who will become the first FIFA22 A1 Adria League champion?

CS:GO

CS:GO is back yet again! The domination of Dimitrije “DiMKE” Veljković’s teams continued into 2021 and culminated with their victory in the seventh season. But after the season came to an end, a number of teams, most notably 4glory, Marten Gaming, AIRLYA (ex-Good Game), and anlaki have been playing and winning on the regional scene. An interesting season is certainly before us and the time to sign up and be a part of it is NOW!

Besides the two invited teams, six squads will participate in the eight CS:GO season of the A1 Adria League. The top eight teams of the open qualifier will play in the closed qualifier which will give out three spots in the League. The same format will repeat once again, for the second pair of qualifiers. Six qualified and two invited teams will then play a BO3 SWISS stage and fight for four spots in the single-elimination BO3 playoffs.

League of Legends

Probably the biggest format change in the new season will happen in League of Legend’s format. Instead of the Season 7 format which featured national qualifiers and playoffs before reaching the regional playoff stage, this season we will have a simpler format. Regional League of Legends teams will play a total of four qualifiers during which will start a bit later than the other qualifiers.

Two teams from every qualifier will advance directly to the regional playoffs. Here, a double-elimination BO3 bracket will reveal the two teams that will clash in the grand BO5 final of the League. The seventh A1 Adria League season wraps up!

The end of the final CS:GO playday marked the end of yet another A1 Adria League season as well as the second Reboot Online Games Week.

Reboot Online Games Week once again offered over 150 hours of gaming-related content to fans all around the region. From My Story and Panel to the live streams and the A1 Adria League finals, we couldn’t really ask for more during the last week. Wednesday was dedicated to the Brawl Stars teams, FIFA’s players entered the stadiums on Thursday and Friday, and League of Legends completed its comeback on Saturday. Sunday was the climax of a two-month-long CS:GO journey, as well as the end of this, seventh, iteration of the League.

Brawl Stars

Our Brawlers clashed on Wednesday. Noble Elite BLK and Point Gaming (ex-Lil Surprise) entered the arena first as the first semifinal match started. BLK’s victory sent Point Gaming to the lower bracket and they were later joined by Mayoi, who couldn’t defeat Noble Elite Red. The elimination match saw Mayoi lose to the aforementioned opponents, while the upper-bracket finals ended with a Noble Elite BLK win. The losers of this match, Red, bounced back against Point Gaming and returned to the finals, only to be defeated once again by the organization’s BLK team.

Unlike the other three titles, FIFA’s finals were played out in the span of two days. During Thursday and Friday, we watched the four remaining players battle it out until the very end. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac, Tarik “amke2001” Novo, Filip “FIFAFICO” Babić and Esad “NKOS_esad1memic” Memić played took part in the playoffs which featured a double-elimination bracket. In the end, amke2001 succeeded in defending his title and becoming the back-to-back regional FIFA champion.

League of Legends

They did it! Split Raiders were once again merciless and finished the League of Legends grand finals without losing a map (3-0). Before that match took place though, Harmony and Fiko Izdaja went at it in the lower bracket finals. There, Harmony outplayed their opponents and secured a rematch against Split Raiders. As mentioned above, Split Raiders dominated the final match and won the main prize of 1.600€!

CS:GO

One more CS:GO season is behind us! It seems that it has become a tradition to host an amazing season and in the end, crown the ONYX core as the returning champions. With yesterday’s triumph, Dimitrije “DiMKE” Veljković and Aleksa “Impulse” Stankić have been the A1 Adria League champions four times. Aleksa did it in seasons 2, 5, 6, and 7, while DiMKE did it in four consecutive seasons, starting from season 4. The runners-up for the season are PORTUGAL, Good Game came in third, and 4glory are fourth
