BLUEJAYS take the ninth CS:GO title in A1AL!

The biggest competition in the A1 Adria League has finally gotten its champion for this season. Macedonian squad BLUEJAYS justified the role of favorite and took home the title and a 2500€ prize.

The playoff stage of CS:GO this season was played for two days during ROGW, semifinals were scheduled for Saturday, while the decider for third place and the grand final we watched on Sunday.

In the first semifinals, our new champion BLUEJAYS took down Zero Tenacity without much trouble. BJ was a big favorite in this matchup, but Z10 gave their best. aidKiT was a leading protagonist on Inferno and Mirage, where BJ got their wins. Z10 managed to take only 14 rounds in two games (Inferno – 16:10, Mirage – 16:4).

The second semifinal matchup was between Blink and 0to100. It was an intense fight between these two teams, and Blink decided not to choose their favorite map Ancient because of an update and the changes on this map, so they had to adapt quickly. BledarD was the best player on the server with as many as 53 kills (Dust2 – 16:8, Inferno – 16:10).

On Sunday, the CS:GO competition opened with a bo1 decider for the third place and a 1000€ prize. depreshn and xicoz were the ones who took 0to100 to victory and secured them third place in this year’s competition. The game on Nuke was really close, but Zero Tenacity just wasn’t lucky.

The final itself was a fast one for BLUEJAYS. Even though Blink was one of the strongest teams this season, there was nothing they could do to this BJ roster. Both maps, Dust2 and Inferno, ended with the same score, 16:7 in favor of the Macedonian squad. The interesting thing is that BJ played this stage of the competition with a substitute. CacaNito couldn’t perform so his place took Necrogenes1s who in the past had already won the title twice in A1 Adria League.

  1. BLUEJAYS – (aidKiT, kyxsan, dan1, CacaNito, stYleEeZ, sub: Necrogenes1s) – 2500€
  2. Team Blink – (gulito, Caleyy, 2high, BledarD, vAloN) – 1500€
  3. 0to100 – (NENO, br0, Sterzig, DEPRESHN, HEv1x,, sub: xicoz) – 1000€
  4. Zero Tenacity – (simke, brutmonster, Cjoffo, nEMANHA, Katalic)

Which CS:GO team is going to take the A1AL trophy this season?

Next weekend the fans will be able to enjoy the best four CS:GO teams fight for the prize and the title of the best team in the ninth season of the A1 Adria League. BLUEJAYS, Blink, 0to100, and Zero Tenacity will battle for the 5000€ prize pool. The semifinals and finals will be played on June 18th and 19th.

Four teams, one trophy!

One of the biggest favorites for winning the title is as expected BLUEJAYS. The Macedonian squad is currently ranked in the top 40 best teams in the world. They keep showing great performance from one tournament to the other. Recently they managed to win third place in CEE Championship, and besides that, they have an IESF World Championship under their name, as well as many other good placements in tournaments. They finished the group stage without a defeat, and a lot is expected from them.

aidkiT: “The fact that we are favorites won’t have any impact on our gameplay. Nowadays Counter-Strike is much more interactive and there are more surprises, so we will just stick to our game. Blink is one of the teams that can make an upset and to play against Oto100 and Zero Tenacity wont be easy either, seeing that both of these teams have good results at the Balkan level.”

The Albanian squad Blink is one of the title contenders this year. Blink led by gulito managed to secure this spot right after BLUEJAYS with a 3:1 score, losing only to the Macedonians. Blink is also a familiar name in the region, we have seen them many times in A1 Adria League and they also have good results in the region. They finished 3rd/4th at the Pinnacle Fall Series #3 which is a great success, and they are the vice-champions of the sixth A1AL season.

gulito: “Group stage went well for us and we were pretty prepared for that results, for the upcoming matches in a playoff we expect a win from our side and hopefully we will try our best in that way as we deserve to win. We are so excited to play in the playoffs and we will be hard opponents for everyone there.”

The last two teams of this year’s CS:GO playoff had a hard fight with each other. 0to100 managed to upset Zero Tenacity at one point, and snatch them the spot in the playoffs. Oto100 secured this stage of the competition with a 3:1 score as well and NENO and the squad will make the end of this tournament very interesting.

Zero Tenacity after their loss to Oto100 had only one more chance to make it to the big stage. They finally did it, and during that journey, they eliminated one of the favorites 4glory. Besides A1AL this squad we could have seen in the tournaments such as Kuvo OneTap and RES, and they have won the second SCL season. Katalić was one of the main reasons this newly formed team is here now.

Katalić: “Our goal is to win the league, and to show that we can play good CS:GO with everyone in the region. The competition is really strong, each team is in a good form, but I think the biggest problem for us could be Oto100. Besides Oto100 I think we can be a serious problem to our opponents because we play without any pressure. We are a new team with a little practice and dangerous aim, and exactly that can give us an edge in 2v5 and 3v5 situations where we can win clutch rounds.”

The ninth A1AL season finale and ROGW are closer than ever!

As the group stages of the three main games in the ninth A1 Adria League season are coming to an end, we are slowly preparing for a grand finale. Brawl Stars, FIFA22, and CS:GO are yet to receive their champions, and that will be announced during the Reboot Online Games Week, as it was the last season.

A1 Adria League S9 finals

As it was last season the playoff stages in our games will be a part of Reboot Online Games Week that will be held in Osijek from 15th to 19th of June. Again we have prepared a lot of fun for the fans during the last week of A1 Adria League matches. From interesting streams and IGRAJ segments to many panel discussions, more information about this will be revealed soon.

Throughout the past weeks, we have seen many teams and players compete to reach this final goal of the competition. The difference between the last season and this is that the finals in the ninth A1AL season will have three, instead of four games. As it was mentioned earlier, LoL was one of the rotating games in this season’s new format, so only Brawl Stars, FIFA22, and CS:GO will have their time in the spotlight at ROGW.

Salada de Frutas has once again dominated the Brawl Stars regional scene. They have shown dominance and will to once again win the title in A1 Adria League. Their enemies will be Big F and Jazavci. While these two teams showed great performance, Salada once again enters the playoff stage and finals as a huge favorite. There is still one more spot left, and we are yet to see who will take it.

In FIFA22 this season we have many familiar names. Novo, esad1memic, and Brstimir are yet again fighting in the top 4, and they will be joined by Mrky, who was the first to secure this spot. It’s hard to say who will come on top as we have already seen tremendous talent from these players.

Last, but not least CS:GO playoffs are going to be a blast. As it was expected, the Macedonian squad BLUEJAYS without any trouble were the first to secure the top 4 in this game. They had a 3:0 score in the league, and are the biggest favorites for winning the title. Blink and Oto100 will make an appearance in the playoffs, as well as Zero Tenacity who eliminated one of the favorites team 4glory.
