Shock Bomb upset lvlUP in the second SWISS round!

Two more matches brought the second CS:GO SWISS round to an end. GODZ1337 will now fight for survival, while Shock Bomb secured an upset and advanced to the 2-0 pool.

The first match of this playday saw the new Macedonian squad, GODZ1337 face off against EAGLES, who were playing the League as MiKS up to this playday. The Kosovar team started Inferno with a quick 5-0 lead, but Kristijan “kiLLeRa” Kukovski earned the first point for his team after a great 3k hold on the CT side. The teams were suddenly neck to neck at 6-6 and GODZ managed to close out the half with a 8-7 scoreline. GODZ1337 proceeded to lose a 15-11 lead and take the game into overtime. EAGLES were able to take four rounds in the first overtime and secure a 1-0 lead in the BO3 series.

After a great 7-2 start for the Macedonians, EAGLES came back and managed to win 6 rounds in the first half. GODZ however, quickly shut their opponents down and closed out the map 16-6. The BO3 headed into Dust2, and it was a bloodbath. The match was close until the very end, but a great B site defense secured the Kosovars the 15th round and let them secure overtime. Even though Blaže “HEv1x” Hristov was playing like a beast and got 38 kills, EAGLES won the BO3 and slipped into the 1-1 pool.

The absolute biggest upset in the past two seasons happened in the duel between Shock Bomb and lvlUP. lvlUP dominated the first map, Vertigo. Miloš “dEE” Marčeta and his team won 13 rounds on the CT side and quickly closed out the map with a 16-6 victory. What happened after Vertigo surprised everyone. The Click N Play 2020 champions, Shock Bomb, ended Dust2’s CT side with a 9-6 lead. The team’s great plan on the T side proved to work like a charm and they were a step closer to winning the BO3.

lvlUP won the first two rounds on Inferno, but Shock Bomb answered back with five. Ivan “pTKKK” Popov and his squad shocked everyone with a great T side half on Inferno. After a 9-6 lead, they managed to win three more rounds, but lvlUP tried to catch up to them. They were really close to bringing the map in their favor, but Shock Bomb beat the champions after all. A 16-11 victory meant that lvlUP will be heading into the 1-1 pool, while Shock Bomb are going to be a part of the 2-0 part of the table.

CS:GO’s A1 Adria League continued with two interesting matches that saw two Kosovar teams triumph without much difficulties.

Krško opened the second round with a match against eSportsKosova. After a good showing versus Good Game, Tilen “Grmek” Grmek and Krško were destroyed by one of the Kosovar teams in the League. The first half of Dust2 ended 13-2 in favor of Blend “v1w” Bunjaku’s team and the Slovenian-Croatian squad couldn’t win a single round in the second half. Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić’s Krško weren’t any better on the second map, Inferno, and the team quickly secured a spot in the 0-2 pool. eSportsKosova will now be joining the 1-1 part of the League, together with Good Game.

Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski’s Macedonian quintet lost the duel versus Blink. The match went to all three maps and after an initial win from Good Game, Blink turned the game around and secured yet another victory. Blink’s pick, Mirage, was a tight map that ended in a victory for Good Game. Both of the teams had really good plays, but in the end, three great plays from GG’s individuals won them the first map. Even though the first map promised a great BO3 series, Blink stomped their opponents in the next two maps. Ernest “xhoci” Xhoci was on fire and together with Genc “gxx-” Kolgeci they dominated the competition.

The second part of the second SWISS round will see two excellent matchups. GODZ1337 meets MiKS (EAGLES) in the first match of the day, and lvlUP will face Shock Bomb immediately after. Tune in and watch the biggest regional esports League on our Twitch channel!

Good Game and Blink get their first wins!

The CS:GO group stage has finally begun. Eight teams will be facing each other in a SWISS league that will determine the four playoffs participants. Last Sunday we had the chance to see the first two matches of the new season.

In the first match of the League, we saw a Kosovar duel between Blink and eSportsKosova. Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti’s team were considered favorites for this matchup, and they didn’t disappoint. Blink took 8 rounds on Train before eSportsKosova managed to strike back. The half ended with a 13-2 lead for the season 5 runner-ups, and they even won the pistol round after an amazing clutch from Genc “gxx-” Kolgeci. In the end, Blink closed out their map pick with a 16-6 victory.

The BO3 headed into Dust2. eSportsKosova showed some resistance at the beginning, but as the match progressed, their opponents overcame Arlind “deb0” Sadiku’s side. Most of the viewers expected a 2-0 win for Blink, and that is exactly what happened. The best Kosovar team kept their great form during the second half and won Dust2 without any difficulties (16-4).

The second match of the day saw the Macedonians from Good Game face Jan “jkXy” Konečnik’s Krsko. We witnessed a very close first half of Nuke. Good Game’s CT side ended with an 8-7 lead, but in the second part of the map, we saw an excellent T side from Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski and the rest of the squad. The Macedonian lost only one round in the second half and Kristijan “KiKOtB” Stojmanovski calmly won the last round with a 1v2 clutch.

Krsko took the lead in their hands during Dust2. After an initial Good Game lead, the Croatian-Slovenian squad came back and closed out the half with an 8-7 lead. As the map was nearing its end, the teams were playing much better and they couldn’t get a string of two rounds in a row. However, Jane”aidKiT” Apostoloski and Good Game didn’t let the map reach overtime and ended the day with a close 16-13 victory.

The second part of this round is continuing today. We will see a clash between the current champions lvlUP and MiKS, while later on, Shock Bomb and GODZ1337 will try to get their first win of this season.

brstimir secures a spot in the playoffs; CS:GO’s team list is completed!

The fourth A1 Adria League week saw the completion of the CS:GO team list for the upcoming season and the first FIFA player secured his spot in the playoffs.

Brawl Stars

Over 40 teams took part in the fourth A1 Adria League Brawl Stars qualifier. It seems that the only way to eliminate one of the Good Game teams before the Grand Final is for the bracket to match them together before. On-Fire and FA Deadly lost their respective games against Good Game Red and Gold. Troleri is a newer name that managed to enter the quarterfinals of the qualifiers. There, they lost to Blue Whales but they still managed to put themselves onto the regional Brawl Stars map. Code Lyoko’s win against Come Back rounded up the quarterfinals and we advanced to the semis.

Once again, the derby between the Gold and Red Good Game squads went in favor of ToDe05 and Good Game Red. Blue Whales managed to beat Code Lyoko and they proceeded to the Grand Finals of the qualifier. The Croatian-Bosnian trio couldn’t hold their ground versus Good Game Red, and they let the Serbian side grab another 100 points in the road to the A1 Adria League playoffs.

Clash Royale

The second group stage round started with a duel between Recast Gaming and Totem Esports. Even though Totem Esports won the 2v2 set, Recast Gaming managed to come back and win the following two sets. Crushers went into the match versus KFC in a dominant manner. Winning the 2v2 set brought them a step closer to a victory, but Team KFC weren’t ready to give up yet. The qualified team came back during the KotH games and closed out the game in the 1v1 set.

As the last match for the day, Tribe Academy faced Flayn Esports. Neither team won two consecutive matches before the final set. Both Flayn and Tribe were going back and forth during the 2v2 and KotH sets, but in the end, Tocilovac and Flayn Esports came out as the better team and closed out the second Clash Royale round.

FIFA

There weren’t FIFA qualifiers during the weekend. Instead, we hosted the first playoffs tournament for the best eight players from the previous trio of qualifiers. The playoffs cup started with the SWISS stage. amke2001 passed the SWISS stage with a perfect record, while mickey_rrrox couldn’t get a single win before being eliminated.

brstimir kept his great form and secured the first A1 Adria League Finals spot. The Serbian player has had a great form during the previous weeks and he definitely deserved one of the four spots in the LAN finals.

CS:GO

We completed the list of teams that will be competing in the sixth A1 Adria League season yesterday. The closed qualifier saw the eight best teams from the last weekend battle it out for a chance to be a part of the €11.000 worth League. eSportsKosova and Good Game secured two of the three spots after their semifinal matches against GamerS1337 and MiKS, respectively.

The third-place decider match played between MiKS and GamerS1337 saw the Kosovar team outplay Filip “DEPRESHNN” Jarkić and GamerS1337 and enter the League as the last qualified team. All the matches in the SWISS stage of the A1 Adria League will be played as BO3 matches, with the winners advancing to a single-elimination BO3 playoff event.
