This week in A1AL: The break is over; it’s game time!

After we all took a week to relax and enjoy the holidays, it is time to begin the third SWISS round for Brawl Stars, CS:GO and FIFA21. League of Legends, in the meantime, is close to finishing the National Playoffs stage.

Brawl Stars

The beginning of the third round means that we will know the first playoffs participants when the round comes to an end. Currently, Noble Elite BLK and Mayoi are leading the standings, but their 2-0 duel will be played out in the second part of the round. This week, we will only be watching Omerta take on Tora Gold in hopes of reaching the 2-1 pool.

There should have been a second match played as well, but since QSKE Gaming were recently disqualified from the tournament, 09 Gang will get a default win in this round.

FIFA21

Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Tarik “amke2001” Novo will fight for the first spot in this season’s FIFA playoffs. Amke2001 successfully beat esad1memic in the second round despite the match being a nail-bitter until the very end. brstimir had an easier time with FIFAFICO, but this time, amke2001 is ready to put up a great fight against his opponent and make this match exciting until the last minute.

After these guys play it out, Sardinho213 and NKOS_esad1memic are next in line to show their abilities to the regional audience. The Season 5 player is looking to get back on track after suffering a loss to amke2001, and he will face Sardinho213 who is in form after winning versus arminho0307.

CS:GO

Midnight, PORTUGAL, Onlinerss, and Fullshock – four teams that will make the return of CS:GO after the pause. Midnight recently got a hard-fought victory against Onlinerss, and next week, they will have another hard challenge on their way to the playoffs – PORTUGAL.

Onlinerss and Fullshock haven’t had the best start of the season, and unfortunately, one of them will be leaving us after the third round concludes. The 0-2 match between these two teams will be played right after the previous’ match winner is declared.

CS:GO SWISS 3-1

League of Legends

League of Legends will continue its National Playoffs stage this Saturday. Reborn Esports and Harmony are currently the two Macedonian teams in the upper bracket. QSKE and Placeholder hold these two spots in the Serbian qualifiers, with two matches ready to be played out in the lower bracket before advancing further in the Playoffs. Last, but certainly not least, Split Raiders and Fantastic Esports will meet in the Croatian upper bracket final. BL Gaming are already in the third lower bracket round, and they are waiting from the winner of the duel between Fiko Izdaja and RainDrop.

This week in A1AL: No matches, enjoy the holidays!

Simple as that! In the previous week, we have received more than a few requests for teams asking to reschedule their matches due to either family holidays, FPL-C qualifiers, competitive tournaments and due to a large volume of proposals, of course – we had to approve them!

So, to cut things short, this week you won’t be able to enjoy the finest regional esports action and all matches will be postponed for next week. Whether you celebrate holidays or play games, use this opportunity to enjoy your time to the fullest and we’ll see you next week!

Stay safe and enjoy the holidays!

ONYX and 4glory are a win away from the playoffs!

The final playday of the second CS:GO round ended with three matches and three new winners – ONYX, Midnight, and 4glory.

Due to ONYX rescheduling their match from the first Round 2 playday, this Sunday featured three CS:GO matches. PORTUGAL and ONYX started the CS:GO marathon on Train where the current champions were able to secure an easy 16:08 win. PORTUGAL’s map pick, Dust 2, was a different story, but with the same ending. Both teams showed some great Counter-Strike, and the map went to overtime. ONYX didn’t let the pressure get to them and were able to close out the map and the match in the first overtime.

Right after the first match came to an end, Midnight and Onlinerss entered the server to fight for their first win. The first two maps were the same as in the previous match, with Onlinerss winning Train. Jasin “connex” Memedi carried his team Midnight through Dust 2 with an amazing performance with the AWP. The decider was Mirage which was ended after 29 rounds. Midnight were the team that came out as the winners in the very end and sent Onlinerss to the bottom of the scoreboard.

4glory and Good Game played a marathon on their own. 4glory won Good Game’s map pick, Mirage, with a 16:07 end result, but the match got heated in the next maps. The Macedonian squad fought very hard and finally won Train with a 16:13 score, sending the match to the decider, Nuke. Nuke went to all 30 rounds and was intense until the very last minute. The teams were constantly changing the lead, but in the end, Luka “c0llins” Živanović and 4glory were the team that won the 16th regulation round.

Mayoi breeze past Lil Surprise; QSKE Gaming disqualified!

The second Brawl Stars SWISS round is now concluded and moving forward, the League will feature one less team for the remainder of the season.

To start off this week of A1 Adria League, Mayoi challenged Lil Surprise and pulled off a convincing win against their Croatian opponents. Mayoi was dominant since the very start of the game and didn’t let Lil Surprise get a single point, winning the match 3:0. This win now puts Mayoi on the top of the table along with Noble Elite BLK ahead of the third round. Lil Surprise, on the other hand, will enter round three with a 1-1 score.

The second match was forfeited by QSKE Gaming, again. They weren’t able to find three of their four players for the match and were forced to give up the match without even playing it. Seeing as this is their second forfeit in a row, QSKE Gaming is now disqualified from this season of the A1 Adria League. While this season is over for the organization, the players – Šaba, Skendo i need you, Golub, and MIKEKING, will not be allowed to participate in the eighth season as well. Furthermore, it seems that the players will not be representing QSKE in the future.

The Mayoi vs. Lil Surprise duel can be watched below:

This week in A1AL: Second round is drawing to a close!

Two FIFA and Brawl Stars and three CS:GO matches remain until the end of the second SWISS round. The teams are slowly gaining the lead in the group stage and are fighting for their spot in the playoffs.

Brawl Stars

As always, the opening game for our A1 Adria League week is Brawl Stars. First up is the duel between Lil Surprise and Mayoi – a match that will decide who joins Noble Elite BLK in the 2-0 pool. Mayoi managed to get here with a win against Omerta, while Lil Surprise beat a weakened 09 Gang in the first round.

When the first duel concludes, Noble Elite Red and QSKE will enter the arena to fight for their first win. As QSKE Gaming forfeited their last match, this will be the first time we are seeing them in this season of the A1 Adria League. Noble Elite Red are still recovering from their defeat versus Tora Gold which sent them to the 0-1 pool. After this match, one of the teams will join 09 Gang in the 0-2 pool, while the other one will hold their spot in the middle of the standings.

Brawl Stars Round 2-2

FIFA

Friday, FIFA day! The only Slovenian player in this season, Leon “Sardinho213” Sardi will face Armin “Arminho0307” Hasanbegović in the first match. Arminho barely lost his match in the previous round and will be looking to fix his mistake versus Sardinho. Sardinho, on the other hand, was demolished by amke2001 6-1 which really isn’t a great start of the season. Though we are still early on and there are plenty of chances for the Slovenian FIFA player to redeem himself, his first being on Friday versus Arminho.

Marko “Klaic” Klaić and Emir “Sulja” Suljović – a clash between the new players. Each of them won one of the qualifying cups despite facing great competition from the whole region, but their start wasn’t the best and they are now looking to get their first victory. Sulja fell to brstimir and klaic wasn’t able to defeat FIFAFICO. After Friday ends, one of them will be playing in the 0-2 pool, while the second one will join FIFAFICO, esad1memic and the Sardinho/Arminho winner with 1-1.

FIFA Round 2-2

CS:GO

ONYX weren’t able to compete on Sunday so the match was rescheduled for the next playday. That means that we will be watching three great CS:GO matches on Sunday, with ONYX opening up the fourth playday at 14 o’clock. Their opponents will be PORTUGAL.

When that match concludes, Midnight will take on Onliners in our second BO3 of the day. Both teams are new to the League and haven’t met each other yet, which means that the match will be even more interesting than usual. To end the day, 4glory will face Good Game – a match between two of the favorites for this season of A1 Adria League.

Cobalt Esports outplay Fullshock in the only Sunday duel!

A short CS:GO playday on Sunday was concluded with Cobalt Esports‘ victory over their Croatian opponents, Fullshock. The match between PORTUGAL and ONYX that should have been played yesterday will be played next Sunday, along with the last two matches of the second SWISS round.

Cobalt Esports and Fullshock played only two maps in which the former was the dominant team that managed to secure their first SWISS win. The Best of 3 match started out on Inferno, Fullshock’s map pick. Even though Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić & co. picked the map, Cobalt made them regret it and won Inferno 16-06. The game concluded on the second map, Dust 2. Contrary to Inferno, Fullshock showed some resistance and won a total of 12 rounds on the second map, but Cobalt’s stellar performance won them the second map and the whole match. This victory puts Cobalt in the 1-1 pool, while Fullshock are just a step away from elimination at 0-2.

brstimir and amke2001 are just a step away from the playoffs!

FIFAFICO, brstimir, amke2001, and esad1memic were the quartet of players that competed in FIFA’s second round of the SWISS stage today.

The first match was intense until the very end, a statement proven by the fact that amke scored the winning goal at the last minutes of the third game. The match between these two regional FIFA veterans ended with an 8:7 score. As both of these matches were a part of the winners’ pool, this win put amke just a step away from the FIFA playoffs.

Unlike the first match that was clinched by amke in the very end, brstimir showed FIFAFICO who’s the boss and filled FIFAFICO’s net with goals in two games. The first game of their match saw FIFAFICO show some resistance and score a goal. On the other side, brstimir scored four. Even that one goal was too hard of a challenge for brstimir’s opponent in the second game where FIFAFICO lost 5:0.

Noble Elite BLK go 2-0; Brankec06 leaves 09 Gang mid-match!

The second SWISS round of the A1 Adria League is now LIVE! Today, the regional Brawlers battled it out and we have two winners – Omerta and Noble Elite BLK.

The first match saw Noble Elite BLK avenge the Red squad’s loss to Tora Gold in the previous round. Unlike that match, Noble Elite BLK didn’t sweat against Tora in the second round and secured an easy 3:0 win. The result of this game puts Noble Elite in first place in the Brawl Stars rankings and only one victory separates them from becoming the first playoffs team for this season.

Omerta and 09 Gang met in the second match of the night. While the final result was once again 3:0, this match was much more controversial than the first game of the day. Namely, 09 Gang’s player Brankec06 disconnected in the middle of the match and refused to reconnect, an act that landed him the first place on our banned players list for the season. Because of this, 09 Gang played the last set with a player deficit (2v3).

This week in A1AL: Impossible matchups to predict!

The first round of the SWISS stage is now behind us! Here are the duels and matches that we will be watching during this week of A1 Adria League.

Brawl Stars

Noble Elite BLK are going to look for revenge for the organization’s Red squad in their match versus Tora Gold. Both teams are favorites for this season of the League and the matchup will determine which team will be only a win away from the playoffs of this seventh season of the A1 Adria League. The second match will feature two teams from the 0-1 pool – Omerta and 09 Gang. Omerta narrowly lost their match against Mayoi last week and they are eager to win their first match now. 09 Gang on the other hand forfeited their last match and we will watch them for the first time on Thursday.

Brawl Stars Playday 3

FIFA

The 16th of April is the day when the second FIFA SWISS round starts. Right after that, we have another winners’ match, this time between Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and his opponent, Filip “FIFAFICO” Babić. The virtual stadiums are ready to witness more amazing FIFA action – and so are we!

4glory and Good Game end the first CS:GO round with convincing wins!

Two CS:GO matches on Sunday announced the end of the first SWISS round for all three titles. This time, 4glory and Good Game triumphed over their opponents and secured their first wins.

Following recent changes in their roster, 4glory fielded two substitutes in their match versus Midnight. Nemanja “sarenii” Šarenac and Andrija “andr1x” Ljubić helped the team achieve a convincing victory on only two maps. 4glory won their map pick, Train, 16-09, and then proceeded to squeeze another win on Mirage (16-13).

Match two for the day saw the Macedonian squad Good Game face the reigning Bosnian champions Onlinerss. Once again, we watched a 2-0 game that ended in favor of Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski’s squad who are one of the favorites for this season of the League. The same two maps were played, with Train ending 16-9 and the teams summing up Mirage 16-5.

Next Sunday, two more matches will be played as a part of the CS:GO SWISS stage:
