This week in A1AL: Second round is drawing to a close!

Two FIFA and Brawl Stars and three CS:GO matches remain until the end of the second SWISS round. The teams are slowly gaining the lead in the group stage and are fighting for their spot in the playoffs.

Brawl Stars

As always, the opening game for our A1 Adria League week is Brawl Stars. First up is the duel between Lil Surprise and Mayoi – a match that will decide who joins Noble Elite BLK in the 2-0 pool. Mayoi managed to get here with a win against Omerta, while Lil Surprise beat a weakened 09 Gang in the first round.

When the first duel concludes, Noble Elite Red and QSKE will enter the arena to fight for their first win. As QSKE Gaming forfeited their last match, this will be the first time we are seeing them in this season of the A1 Adria League. Noble Elite Red are still recovering from their defeat versus Tora Gold which sent them to the 0-1 pool. After this match, one of the teams will join 09 Gang in the 0-2 pool, while the other one will hold their spot in the middle of the standings.

Brawl Stars Round 2-2

FIFA

Friday, FIFA day! The only Slovenian player in this season, Leon “Sardinho213” Sardi will face Armin “Arminho0307” Hasanbegović in the first match. Arminho barely lost his match in the previous round and will be looking to fix his mistake versus Sardinho. Sardinho, on the other hand, was demolished by amke2001 6-1 which really isn’t a great start of the season. Though we are still early on and there are plenty of chances for the Slovenian FIFA player to redeem himself, his first being on Friday versus Arminho.

Marko “Klaic” Klaić and Emir “Sulja” Suljović – a clash between the new players. Each of them won one of the qualifying cups despite facing great competition from the whole region, but their start wasn’t the best and they are now looking to get their first victory. Sulja fell to brstimir and klaic wasn’t able to defeat FIFAFICO. After Friday ends, one of them will be playing in the 0-2 pool, while the second one will join FIFAFICO, esad1memic and the Sardinho/Arminho winner with 1-1.

FIFA Round 2-2

CS:GO

ONYX weren’t able to compete on Sunday so the match was rescheduled for the next playday. That means that we will be watching three great CS:GO matches on Sunday, with ONYX opening up the fourth playday at 14 o’clock. Their opponents will be PORTUGAL.

When that match concludes, Midnight will take on Onliners in our second BO3 of the day. Both teams are new to the League and haven’t met each other yet, which means that the match will be even more interesting than usual. To end the day, 4glory will face Good Game – a match between two of the favorites for this season of A1 Adria League.

Cobalt Esports outplay Fullshock in the only Sunday duel!

A short CS:GO playday on Sunday was concluded with Cobalt Esports‘ victory over their Croatian opponents, Fullshock. The match between PORTUGAL and ONYX that should have been played yesterday will be played next Sunday, along with the last two matches of the second SWISS round.

Cobalt Esports and Fullshock played only two maps in which the former was the dominant team that managed to secure their first SWISS win. The Best of 3 match started out on Inferno, Fullshock’s map pick. Even though Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić & co. picked the map, Cobalt made them regret it and won Inferno 16-06. The game concluded on the second map, Dust 2. Contrary to Inferno, Fullshock showed some resistance and won a total of 12 rounds on the second map, but Cobalt’s stellar performance won them the second map and the whole match. This victory puts Cobalt in the 1-1 pool, while Fullshock are just a step away from elimination at 0-2.

brstimir and amke2001 are just a step away from the playoffs!

FIFAFICO, brstimir, amke2001, and esad1memic were the quartet of players that competed in FIFA’s second round of the SWISS stage today.

The first match was intense until the very end, a statement proven by the fact that amke scored the winning goal at the last minutes of the third game. The match between these two regional FIFA veterans ended with an 8:7 score. As both of these matches were a part of the winners’ pool, this win put amke just a step away from the FIFA playoffs.

Unlike the first match that was clinched by amke in the very end, brstimir showed FIFAFICO who’s the boss and filled FIFAFICO’s net with goals in two games. The first game of their match saw FIFAFICO show some resistance and score a goal. On the other side, brstimir scored four. Even that one goal was too hard of a challenge for brstimir’s opponent in the second game where FIFAFICO lost 5:0.

This week in A1AL: Impossible matchups to predict!

The first round of the SWISS stage is now behind us! Here are the duels and matches that we will be watching during this week of A1 Adria League.

Brawl Stars

Noble Elite BLK are going to look for revenge for the organization’s Red squad in their match versus Tora Gold. Both teams are favorites for this season of the League and the matchup will determine which team will be only a win away from the playoffs of this seventh season of the A1 Adria League. The second match will feature two teams from the 0-1 pool – Omerta and 09 Gang. Omerta narrowly lost their match against Mayoi last week and they are eager to win their first match now. 09 Gang on the other hand forfeited their last match and we will watch them for the first time on Thursday.

Brawl Stars Playday 3

FIFA

The 16th of April is the day when the second FIFA SWISS round starts. Both matches will be played this Sunday, the first one starting at 16h, and the latter at 18/19h.

CS:GO Playday 3

4glory and Good Game end the first CS:GO round with convincing wins!

Two CS:GO matches on Sunday announced the end of the first SWISS round for all three titles. This time, 4glory and Good Game triumphed over their opponents and secured their first wins.

Following recent changes in their roster, 4glory fielded two substitutes in their match versus Midnight. Nemanja “sarenii” Šarenac and Andrija “andr1x” Ljubić helped the team achieve a convincing victory on only two maps. 4glory won their map pick, Train, 16-09, and then proceeded to squeeze another win on Mirage (16-13).

Match two for the day saw the Macedonian squad Good Game face the reigning Bosnian champions Onlinerss. Once again, we watched a 2-0 game that ended in favor of Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski’s squad who are one of the favorites for this season of the League. The same two maps were played, with Train ending 16-9 and the teams summing up Mirage 16-5.

Next Sunday, two more matches will be played as a part of the CS:GO SWISS stage:

klaic, Sulja fail to upset their opponents in the first round!

After all the excitement from yesterday’s Brawl Stars, today we headed to the virtual stadiums where the FIFA players clashed to close out the first SWISS round of the season.

Klaic started great against his Croatian opponent, FIFAFICO. The new player in the league won his match 4:1, but unfortunately, those were all the goals that he scored today. FIFAFICO came back strong in the second game, scoring six goals to turn the whole game around and win the series 7:4. This put him up in the 1-0 pool together with amke2001, esad1memic, and after the second match, brstimir.

Brstimir and Sulja faced off in the second match of the day with the former taking the win after two intense matches. The two games ended with a one-goal difference, with brstimir being on the winning side in both cases. Firstly, Sulja managed to lose 1:2, and in the second match, the result was tied until the very end when brstimir scored his fourth goal and finished the match 4:3. QSKE forfeit; Mayoi win their match versus Omerta

With today’s matches coming to an end, we know the teams that will be heading into the second Brawl Stars SWISS round as a part of the 1-0 pool – Tora Gold, Lil Surprise, Noble Elite BLK, and Mayoi.

Just like last week, one of the matches was forfeited and we watched just one game of Brawl Stars. This time, some of QSKE Gaming’s players were unable to play and the team ended up forfeiting the match against Noble Elite BLK. The former Good Game Gold now has one win, unlike their colleagues from Noble Elite Red, who recently lost to Tora Gold.

The only match of the day was a clash between Mayoi and Omerta, the team that was known as Wolves until recently. And again, just like last week, the one match that was played showed the level of the competitive Brawl Stars scene in the region and skills that both teams and. Omerta and Mayoi played up until the very last minute. In the end, however, Mayoi was the team that clinched the victory over their fierce opponents.

ONYX and PORTUGAL 2:0 their opponents in the first round!

ONYX and PORTUGAL were able to outplay their opponents and secure the first wins in this season’s CS:GO SWISS stage.

The day started with a match between Cobalt Esports and ONYX. The reigning champions picked Train, Cobalt decided to play Dust 2, and Mirage was left as the decider in case the teams tied the first two maps. ONYX, however, had other plans and didn’t let the match go to the third map. Even on Cobalt’s pick, they managed to secure a 16-5 win and go into their own map pick with a big advantage. Train wasn’t much different to Dust2, as Aleksa “Impulse” Stankić & co. ended the map 16-6.

Two new names played the second match on Sunday. The majority-Macedonian mix, PORTUGAL, and their opponents, Fullshock, clashed it out on two interesting maps that saw the former take the win 2-0. PORTUGAL‘s map pick was an amazing match that went to all 30 rounds. In the end, Andrej “Necrogenes1s” Mancheski and his team claimed the win. Map two was everything opposite of Nuke – Mirage was played out in only 19 rounds after the map one winners shocked Fullshock and beat them 16-03 on their own map pick.

You can check out the last two matches in the video below, and if you are interested in the current standings of the League, we have them posted and regularly updated HERE.

Tora Gold stun Lavvek & co.; amke demolishes Sardinho with 6:1!

Brawl Stars and FIFA, two of the three games that ended their qualifiers last week, closed out the first round of the A1 Adria League Season 7 SWISS stage.

Brawl Stars

Our first two matches of the Brawl Stars group stage were played out yesterday. In the first game of the day, we watched a Croatian derby between Tora Gold and NobleElite Red. These two teams already met each other during the qualifiers with NobleElite Red coming out victorious in that match. This time, Tora Gold managed to outperform their rivals and secured the first SWISS win. The match was intense until the very end and went all the way into the fifth map, which saw Tora Gold triumph over the Red squad.

During the duel between Lil Surprise and 09 Gang, the latter had to forfeit because one of their players left the team during the game, and they had no substitutes to replace him. Lil Surprise – the winners of the second qualifiers are now a part of the 1-0 pool, together with team Tora Gold.

FIFA21

Just a day after the first Brawl Stars matches concluded, the regional FIFA players stepped into the football courts to win their first matches for this season. Esad “esad1memic” Memić and Armin “arminho0307” Hasanbegović marked the beginning of this season’s group stage. What followed was a close game that saw esad1memic clinch a 3:2 win in the series. arminho was a great opponent, but the season 5 champion scored one more and entered the 1-0 SWISS pool.

Tarik “amke2001” Novo, the winner of the first qualifying cup for this season, faced off against Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi and managed to get a convincing win in the series. After the games concluded, amke had a 6-1 lead against his Slovenian opponent and secured his spot in the 1-0 pool.

CS:GO Schedule 1

One step closer to the Group Stage!

The first week of qualifiers is now behind us. Our FIFA players and Brawl Stars teams earned their first points, and in CS:GO, three teams secured their spot in the group stage of the upcoming A1 Adria League season.

Brawl Stars

Two of the four qualifying Brawl Stars cups were played out during the weekend. We were met with a change of pace in the first qualifier. Good Game Gold and Red, the teams that dominated the last season, faced each other in the first round and the Gold players were eliminated. The Red squad didn’t have much better results either, losing to Immortal Balkans, but they managed to snatch 20 points, finishing this qualifier 5-8th.

O9 Gang triumphed in the first cup after beating Mayoi in the finals. Except for these four teams, Wolfs, QSKE Gaming 5M Gaming Elite and Ekipa 69 also won their share of points.

On Sunday, 32 teams entered the Brawling arenas to battle it out and try to qualify for the seventh A1 Adria League season. Good Game Gold and Red did better this time around, but the up-and-comers once again bested them. Lil surprise took the main prize while Wolfs came in second. Good Game Red, Ekipa 69, Crna ruka and Mayoi placed 5-8th and Good Game Gold and O9 Gang finished in the top four.

FIFA21

The FIFA qualifiers started off with a massive bang in the second qualifiers. A player from Bosnia and Herzegovina, klaic, bested arminho0307, Sivii7 and finally, esad1memic, to win the second FIFA21 A1 Adria League qualifier. klaic is a player that has played plenty of FIFA in the past, but this is allegedly his first competitive tournament.

The previous cup was won by amke2001. FIFAFICO was unable to defeat him in the finals and only got 70 points. esad1memic ended this qualifier as the third best player, followed by HRVoje-1995. The top 8 was completed by brstimir, xMarjus, Hara and Sardinho213.

CS:GO

Around 60 teams signed up for the first CS:GO qualifier. Good Game, INSOMNIA, SKUAK Gaming, Cobalt Esports, Locco Contigo, Onlinerss, MIX and Qske Gaming were the teams that managed to advance do the closed qualifier.

Two great victories against SKUAK Gaming and QSKE placed the Macedonian team Good Game in the League. The second team to follow them were Onliners who had beaten Cobalt Esports and INSOMNIA in the this stage of the qualifying process. In the end, these two sides were joined by Cobalt who outplayed QSKE in the third-place decider.
