Are you ready for the upcoming FIFA22 season?

After the players fought hard to earn points in the qualifying stage, it is time to commence our next phase in the FIFA League – the SWISS group!

amke2001 dominant in the qualifiers; brstimir finished second

Tarik “amke2001” Novo was the absolute best player in the five qualifiers that we hosted for FIFA players. He won second place in the first and fifth qualifiers, while he triumphed in qualifiers 3 and 4. These results earned him 340 points in total, 150 more than the second-placed player, Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac. After his victory in the first qualifier, the Serbian player had a string of mediocre results, except his silver medal in the fourth cup.

With 10 and 20 points less than brstimir, respectively, Harun “Hara” Parla and Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak are the next two players on our leaderboard. While Hara gradually earned points during the entire phase, edenn95 managed to overcome all opponents in the very last qualifier and earn the deciding 100 points. His other points came from qualifiers #2 (20) and #3 (50).

DrPecho qualifies for the eighth season!

Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar claimed the eighth place on our leaderboard and will be making an appearance on his second big tournament in a row, after recently playing the fifth FIFA Adria Prvenstvo season. Besides DrPecho, Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo also secured his spot in the league.

When talking about FIFA Adria Prvenstvo S5, we can also mention that Esad “esad1memic” Memić, the winner of the tournament, qualified for the A1 Adria League once again. With his 160 points, he was tied with another countryman of his, Emir “Sulja13” Suljović.

The final standings of the qualifying stage can be seen below:

FIFA Ranking

Five great qualifiers are now behind us. Along with the qualified players, we must congratulate players such as Stefan “HardiFifa” Stojanov, Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi, Luka “Lux” Rade, and many more for being a part of the A1 Adria League. We are now a step closer to crowning our new champions. A SWISS stage which will be played on the newest edition of FIFA, FIFA22, will determine the four players that will play the final four stage. After the groups come to an end, we are expecting a double-elimination bracket. Will amke2001 keep his title, or will a new player climb on top of the region?

Eight players secure their spot in the FIFA group stage!

The last qualifier of this FIFA season is over. Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak took the main prize and the player list for this SWISS stage is completed.

A smaller number of players signed up for the last qualifier as the top eight players had more-or-less secured their spots in the league. Mostly players who were on the verge of losing their spot played the qualifier, as well as players who needed a small number of points to reach the upper spots in the leaderboard. Robert “rob1” Peršaj lost in the first round. His opponent was Tarik “amke2001” Novo, who went on to win against Esad “esad1memic” Memić in the quarterfinals. Tarik was unstoppable in his part of the bracket and outplayed Emir “Sulja” Suljović in the semis with ease.

Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi was better than Batiii and Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar in the first rounds of today’s bracket. His opponent in the semifinals was edenn95 who surprisedly managed to upset Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac in the first round. The player also defeated Luka “Lux” Rade, and finally bested Sardinho in the semifinals. The Slovenian participant become one of the players in the third-place decider, while edenn95 advanced to the grand finals.

The third place this week went to Sulja, which means that Sardinho213 finished fourth. A huge upset happened in the finals where edenn95 managed to surprise amke2001 and win the game in the very last minute of the second game. These are the eight players that qualified for this season’s group stage:

FIFA

The last FIFA qualifier of this season and this year is ahead of us. Tarik “amke2001” Novo has been brilliant during the entire qualifying process and is now leading the table with 270 points. The rest of the players are behind by at least 90 points. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac (180) and Harun “Hara” Parla (160) are behind amke2001, with Esad “esad1memic” Memić closing in behind them with his 140 points. The eighth place is occupied by Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar. One more qualifier means one more chance for everyone in the region.

Here is what Hara had to say about his experience in the league so far:

“I am really satisfied by the tournament so far, a lot of players are signing up to play and there are also a lot of players that can be tough to play against. It wasn’t easy to qualify in the top 8, but with my will and persistence, I achieved the result that I wanted to achieve since the first qualifier. Everything is on the table in the next round as we are transferring to a new game and getting used to the new meta will influence the results. My humble opinion is that I will manage to enter the top 4 stage.”

On Sunday, the first SWISS round for this season came to an end. PORTUGAL and BLUEJAYS secured victories against their opponents and joined iNation and 4glory in the winners’ half of the bracket. On the other side, Marten Gaming and JESTE along with Young Glorians and SKUAK. These latter four teams will be looking to improve their Round 1 results in the second round, and this Sunday, we will watch the following two matchups:

26.09.2021 – SWISS Round 2-1

Marten Gaming vs.  Young Glorians
rs 4glory vs. PORTUGAL

brstimir unable to end amke2001’s winning streak in the fourth qualifier!

As today’s qualifier was the second-to-last one of this FIFA season, we already know some of the players that will participate and compete in the upcoming SWISS stage.

Last week’s runner-up, Esad “esad1memic” Memić faced tough players such as mrky2402 and Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi in his first two rounds. He managed to beat mrky, but couldn’t squeeze past Sardinho. Tarik “amke2001” Novo, one of our finalists, was a part of this half of the bracket as well. One of the players he faced on his road to the quarterfinals was Robert Peršaj, a player that hasn’t been active recently but played in previous seasons of the League. Amke managed to overcome Robert, breeze past Sardinho, and finally, defeat Harun “Hara” Parla in the semifinals of this cup.

Simultaneously as amke2001, Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac was fighting for his spot in the finals as well. Ranked fourth before the beginning of this qualifier, brstimir advanced to the later stages of the tournament over Petar_Puljic and Jelusic90. He met Hrvoje “HRVoje-1995” Čleković in the quarters before challenging Emir “Sulja” Suljović a round later. The Bosnian player gave it his best, but brstimir came out as the winner of this match.

FIFA Q4 Semifinals

The third-place decider ended earlier today and Hara managed to achieve a 2-0 victory over Sulja. The main prize of this qualifier went to amke2001, while brstimir earned 70 points, summing it up to a total of 180. Next week, the final qualifier will be played out and we will know who the eight qualified players are. It is your last chance to secure a spot among the very best FIFA players in the region.

This week in A1AL: More cups, more points, more games!

CS:GO’s first SWISS round is coming to an end, and in the meantime, FIFA and Brawl Stars will crown their fourth qualifier’s winners this week.

Brawl Stars

We have a slight map change for this week of Brawl Stars. Instead of Brawl Ball, our regional squads will be playing Bounty. Last week, Salada de Frutas claimed first place after their second consecutive win for this season. Winx Club are currently second with 150 points, and Omert4 are trailing behind by only 10 points. It has been a whole month since the qualifiers started, and we are slowly starting to round up the teams that will participate in this season’s SWISS stage. This week, one Brawl Stars player talked about the current season and his expectations for the League. This is what Protić from Omert4 had to say:

“Hello, I am protić from team Omerta. I am playing together with Bogdan and Brankec. We are currently third which has been good enough so far, but we are sure that we could have done better because we lost important matches to small mistakes. We could maybe have been first or second, but we are satisfied with our placement seeing as the competition is much tougher in this season and a lot of good new teams appeared. Of course, our biggest rivals for the season are Salada de Frutas and Winx Club, and I would also add Lightning Strike here. They started playing together this season and they are already looking great. They are currently placed fourth and they are really close to the other teams.

As far as my expectations are concerned, if we continue with this form, I believe that we will reach the very final stages of the tournament – at least top 4. After that, nothing is certain, as all teams there will be very good and there will be a number of intense matches that could easily end both ways. With enough practice and preparations, I am sure that we could reach the finals and maybe even win the whole league. I just want to say that I am eagerly awaiting the next qualifiers and I wish good luck to all the other teams!”

FIFA

There are only two FIFA qualifiers remaining. After the qualifying phase comes to an end, the best eight players will play a SWISS group stage, but in the new edition of the franchise, FIFA22. Our reigning champion, Tarik “amke2001” Novo continued with his great performance in the third qualifier where he defeated Esad “esad1memic” Memić in the grand finals. The latter played is currently ranked second, together with Đorđe “JasikFIFA” Cumbo (both players have 130 points). Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Harun “Hara” Parla are close to the aforementioned players and they are looking to close the difference in the upcoming qualifier.

CS:GO

iNation, SKUAK, 4glory, and Young Glorians. Those are the names of the four teams that played the very first CS:GO playday for this eighth season of Counter-Strike. The iNation squad led by Ivan “choiv7” Živković faced Bledar “BledarD” Dula & SKUAK in a fierce BO3 which saw the former came out as winners after two maps. The same thing happened in 4glory’s match, but with much more difficulties. Namely, Young Glorians nearly upset 4glory on two occasions, taking the game to overtime both times. In the end, 4glory’s experience reigned supreme and they closed out the match in their favor. This week, the first SWISS round continues. PORTUGAL is going to challenge Marten Gaming, while BLUEJAYS will play versus JESTE.

amke2001 outplays his Bosnian rival esad1memic in the finals!

With this third FIFA qualifier coming to an end, only two more separate us from the beginning of this season’s SWISS stage.

Esad “esad1memic” Memić began the long road towards the grand finals in the Round of 16 where he bested freezing gambler. His next opponent, Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi was in great shape after defeating Aleksandar “Zli Duh” Blaževski, but esad1memic had no trouble in defeating the Slovenian player. Next up, Esad faced a new name with the nickname lala13_13. lala13_13 won matches versus Stefan “StojanovFIFA” Stojanov and Luka Bukal before the semifinals and he had good chances against the Bosnian veteran. However, Esad didn’t let his opponent upset him and easily secured his spot in the finals.

Tarik “amke2001” Novo, our back-to-back FIFA champion, was the most successful player in the upper half of today’s bracket. His FIFA squad defeated various opponents throughout the bracket, including Hrvoje “HRVoje-1995” Čleković and Emir “Sulja” Suljović. His semifinal opponent was Harun “Hara” Parla, who had the same amount of points as amke2001 before the conclusion of this qualifier. Aydin_kmetas, Vukovarac999 and TopBoyFifa were eliminated by Hara today, but his streak came to an end after suffering a 0-2 defeat to amke.

Despite being one of the best players in the region, amke2001 and esad1memic didn’t manage to earn the main prize in our previous two qualifiers. This time, one of them finally had the chance to finish on top, and amke2001 made sure to do everything in his power to become that player. The third place this week went to lala13_13, while Hara finished in fourth.

This week in A1AL: FIFA & Brawl Stars qualifiers continue!

The battle for points gets more and more intense as the number of remaining qualifiers declines. Meanwhile, CS:GO’s team list is completed and the SWISS stage starts this Sunday.

Brawl Stars

After they didn’t earn points in the first qualifier, DzonDzon and Salada de Frutas dominated everyone in Week 2. Three teams are currently fighting for the first spot, which is now occupied by Omert4. They have 120 points, while Lightning Strike and Salada de Frutas have 100 points each. The third qualifier that will be played this Thursday will decide a lot of things. Will one of these teams increase their lead on the leaderboard, or will a new name take the first place. With Mayoi and Winx Club owning 70 points, it is entirely possible to see a major turnaround on the table by the end of our third playday.

FIFA

The only individual title for the season, FIFA, completed the second qualifier with a blast. Đorđe “Jasik” Cumbo made a great return to the A1 Adria League stadiums by winning the qualifier over Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar. The latter is an up-and-coming name on the scene, and after recently qualifying for the FIFA21 Adria Prvenstvo tournament, he is here to make sure he becomes a part of A1 Adria League’s story as well. We have a total of four players with 70 points, while the top two spots are tied between Jasik and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac, who both have 110 points so far.

CS:GO

It wasn’t until this Sunday that we got to know the names of all eight CS:GO teams for this season. AIRLYA, Young Glorians and SKUAK Gaming filled our three vacant spots and now we are ready to begin with the SWISS phase of our league. Besides the three aforementioned teams, we will get the chance to watch five more teams compete for the €5.000 prize pool. The invited teams, PORTUGAL and 4glory, will be joined by some familiar names. Namely, Marko “Maki” Mijatović and Marten Gaming, the new iNation squad as well as JESTE will play on our servers in the upcoming months.

We also took the time to talk to one of the qualified players. Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski from AIRLYA shared a short statement about the recent qualifiers and the team’s expectations for the league:

“We played out the qualifiers pretty good, without many hardships. But, of course, we are always looking to improve in every aspect and to fix our mistakes. We are expecting to finally win first place this season after fighting for it for more than a year. Our biggest rivals for the season will be our frequent opponents 4glory, Marten Gaming, and iNation. We play against them often and I am sure that we know how to counter them now. As I said, we are expecting an intense league with a lot of interesting matches and us ending on the very top.”

Jasik earns 100 points after defeating Pecho in this FIFA qualifier!

After Salada de Frudas dominated Brawl Stars on Thursday, today we got our second FIFA winner of the season – Đorđe “JasikFIFA” Cumbo.

FIFA was off to a great start since the very first round. Namely, Stjepan “Brstylo” Brstilo eliminated our reigning back-to-back champion, Tarik “amke2001” Novo, in Round 1, denying him from winning any points in this qualifier. Just a round later, another veteran fell. This time, Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac, the player who triumphed in the first qualifier, was too weak to stand up to Emir “Sulja” Suljović. Stefan “StojanovFIFA” Stojanov had to face a couple of tough opponents before reaching the finals. He bested HRVoje-1995 in Round 1, Zli Duh in Round 2, and Jelusic90 in the quarterfinals before losing to Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar in the semifinals.

Sulja had a similar road to the third-place decider. He managed to outplay brstimir and Esad “esad1memic” Memić before ultimately losing to JasikFIFA in the semis. The latter, a name that we haven’t heard in a long time secured his final spot against DrPecho after a great performance in our second qualifier of the season. StojanovFIFA was better than Sulja in the third-place decider, while a 2-1 victory secured JasikFIFA 100 points over DrPecho.

Their final opponents were Winx Club, another top team that reached the finals with convincing wins against their enemies. The first of six Brawl Stars qualifiers is over, and now this Thursday, the teams will get another chance to earn valuable points.

With one less qualifier than Brawl Stars, the points the players have earned in the first FIFA cup are even more valuable. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac took the champion’s title this time. Right behind him in the FIFA points race is last season’s winner, Tarik “amke2001” Novo. With players such as Harun “Hara” Parla and Esad “esad1memic”  Memić occupying the third and fourth spots, respectively, this is sure looking to be an amazing season. From the teams that signed up to play the open qualifier, eight secured their spots in the next phase. What followed was a single-elimination bracket that decided the three qualified sides. Those teams were Anlaki, Marten Gaming and JESTE. We are eagerly waiting to see them compete in the league, and we are eagerly waiting to see you try to qualify as well.

brstimir takes the lead after the first FIFA qualifier!

In our first qualifier for this transitional FIFA season, we watched Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac outplay Tarik “amke2001” Novo and win the main prize.

Our regional FIFA players will get five chances to showcase their skills and earn points before the SWISS stage of the season. Today was the first one, and while brstimir finished first, he was not the only one to earn points. All players played incredibly which is a sign that a great season of FIFA is ahead of us. In the end, eight best players advanced through to the quarterfinals. Last season’s winner, amke2001, beat Nikola “paolimoc” Dobrković in his quarterfinal match, while Harun “Hara” Parla passed through to the semis over Stefan “HardiFifa” Stojanov. In the second pair of quarterfinal matches, the Serbian FIFA veteran, brstimir faced and bested Luka Bukal. The last semifinal spot went to Esad “esad1memic” Memić who was better than Mirza Hasančić in their duel.

brstimir protiv amke200

As always, the matches between brstimir and esad1memic are tough for both players as they are both brilliant FIFA players. This time, the winner was brstimir and he advanced to the finals together with amke2001. amke2001 won over Hara who was set to face esad1memic in the third-place decider, but the latter decided to forfeit the match and end his first qualifier on the fourth place. In the grand finals, brstimir achieved a 2-0 victory against his bitter rival and earned the main 100 points.
