This week in A1AL: The break is over; it’s game time!

After we all took a week to relax and enjoy the holidays, it is time to begin the third SWISS round for Brawl Stars, CS:GO and FIFA21. League of Legends, in the meantime, is close to finishing the National Playoffs stage.

Brawl Stars

The beginning of the third round means that we will know the first playoffs participants when the round comes to an end. Currently, Noble Elite BLK and Mayoi are leading the standings, but their 2-0 duel will be played out in the second part of the round. This week, we will only be watching Omerta take on Tora Gold in hopes of reaching the 2-1 pool.

There should have been a second match played as well, but since QSKE Gaming were recently disqualified from the tournament, 09 Gang will get a default win in this round.

 

 

FIFA21

Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Tarik “amke2001” Novo will fight for the first spot in this season’s FIFA playoffs. Amke2001 successfully beat esad1memic in the second round despite the match being a nail-bitter until the very end. brstimir had an easier time with FIFAFICO, but this time, amke2001 is ready to put up a great fight against his opponent and make this match exciting until the last minute.

After these guys play it out, Sardinho213 and NKOS_esad1memic are next in line to show their abilities to the regional audience. The Season 5 player is looking to get back on track after suffering a loss to amke2001, and he will face Sardinho213 who is in form after winning versus arminho0307.

 

CS:GO

Midnight, PORTUGAL, Onlinerss, and Fullshock – four teams that will make the return of CS:GO after the pause. Midnight recently got a hard-fought victory against Onlinerss, and next week, they will have another hard challenge on their way to the playoffs – PORTUGAL.

Onlinerss and Fullshock haven’t had the best start of the season, and unfortunately, one of them will be leaving us after the third round concludes. The 0-2 match between these two teams will be played right after the previous’ match winner is declared.

CS:GO SWISS 3-1

League of Legends

League of Legends will continue its National Playoffs stage this Saturday. Reborn Esports and Harmony are currently the two Macedonian teams in the upper bracket. QSKE and Placeholder hold these two spots in the Serbian qualifiers, with two matches ready to be played out in the lower bracket before advancing further in the Playoffs. Last, but certainly not least, Split Raiders and Fantastic Esports will meet in the Croatian upper bracket final. BL Gaming are already in the third lower bracket round, and they are waiting from the winner of the duel between Fiko Izdaja and RainDrop.

This week in A1AL: No matches, enjoy the holidays!

Simple as that! In the previous week, we have received more than a few requests for teams asking to reschedule their matches due to either family holidays, FPL-C qualifiers, competitive tournaments and due to a large volume of proposals, of course – we had to approve them!

So, to cut things short, this week you won’t be able to enjoy the finest regional esports action and all matches will be postponed for next week. Whether you celebrate holidays or play games, use this opportunity to enjoy your time to the fullest and we’ll see you next week!

Sardinho213 and Sulja get their first wins in the second round!

Right after Brawl Stars, FIFA’s second round concluded with two victories by Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi and Emir “Sulja” Suljović.

The Slovenian player recovered after his loss in the first round and managed to squeeze past Armin “arminho0307” Hasanbegović. The first match showed great performance by arminho0307 who scored three goals without receiving a single one himself. The tables turned in the second game. The result was the same, but this time Sardinho was the winner. In the final game which went to overtime and then penalties, Sardinho outplayed Armin and grabbed his first win for this season.

Sulja and Marko “Klaic” Klaić entered the FIFA stadium after the first match came to an end. We saw a fierce game in the first game in which Sulja barely won with a 3-2 difference and headed into Game 2 with a 1-0 advantage. This time, Sulja didn’t let klaic get close to him and scored five goals. Klaic’s one goal in the second game meant that he lost the match and he is now 0-2 in the FIFA standings.

After all the excitement from yesterday’s Brawl Stars, today we headed to the virtual stadiums where the FIFA players clashed to close out the first SWISS round of the season.

Klaic started great against his Croatian opponent, FIFAFICO. The new player in the league won his match 4:1, but unfortunately, those were all the goals that he scored today. FIFAFICO came back strong in the second game, scoring six goals to turn the whole game around and win the series 7:4. This put him up in the 1-0 pool together with amke2001, esad1memic, and after the second match, brstimir.

Brstimir and Sulja faced off in the second match of the day with the former taking the win after two intense matches. The two games ended with a one-goal difference, with brstimir being on the winning side in both cases. Firstly, Sulja managed to lose 1:2, and in the second match, the result was tied until the very end when brstimir scored his fourth goal and finished the match 4:3. We are a step closer to the A1 Adria League playoffs stage!

FIFA put an end to the qualifying cups and we are approaching the third mini playoffs cup. The other title we will cover today, Brawl Stars finished its twelfth qualifier and is now one qualifier away from the eight-team playoffs stage.

Brawl Stars

20 teams clashed in the second-to-last Brawl Stars qualifier. Good Game Red and Gold were eliminated earlier in the cup last time, but this time, they managed to hold their ground and reach the finals. Bad Boys bested OP KIFLE and FA Deadly outplayed Code Lyoko, while the two GG teams in the quarters were better than On-Fire (vs. Red) and Mystic Team1 (vs. Gold).

The semis saw two high-quality matches unfold. BadBoys faced Good Game Gold and FA Deadly were the team set to beat Good Game Red. Unfortunately for FA Deadly, GG Red were simply too good and secured one of the spots in the finals. GG Gold also showed BadBoys who dominated this season of Brawl Stars and eliminated them from the cup. In yet another Gold – Red matchup, the Golden players took the biggest share of the points home.

FIFA21 has been really eventful these previous couple of weeks. The Hrvatski Telekom e-Liga begun, Esport Adria’s Adria Prvenstvo finished its first season and of course, we have been playing the qualifiers every weekend. Some players had their last chance of qualifying last weekend. esad1memic beat Bati and arminho bested erminjamak in the lower half of the quarterfinals.

JasikFifa and HRVoje also proceeded to the semis over Cano1911 and Djosa. After two great semis, JasikFifa and esad1memic met each other in the grand final of the last A1 Adria League FIFA qualifier. The reigning champion, esad1memic, won this duel secured the 100 points of the last qualifier.

FIFA and Brawl Stars are back – these are the results!

We are back on track with the League after a one-week long delay. FIFA had its first FIFA21 qualifier played out, while Brawl Stars closed out qualifier number 11.

Brawl Stars

The eight best teams in the qualifier reached the quarterfinal stage without any difficulties. 09 Gang matched up with Noobs, while FA Deadly faced BadBoys. Noobs managed to win the game against 09 Gang and FA Deadly showed great individual skill versus BadBoys. Ekipa 69 and Code Lyoko had quarterfinal matches against Good Game Gold and Red, respectively. As expected, the GG teams managed to pass this obstacle and reach the semis.

The Good Game derby happened once again in the semifinals of this cup. After a couple of wins by the Red squad, this time, it was Good Game Gold that won the match and advanced to the finals. FA Deadly followed suit and joined the finals, but Sabasniper’s squad couldn’t stand up to Good Game Gold.

FIFA

FIFA was back with the third trio of qualifiers. As FIFA21 came out, the remaining qualifiers will be played on the new version of the game. The seventh qualifier was dominated by Bosnian players with five out of the eight quarterfinalists being Bosnian. Ajdin977 was better than Erminjamak while esad1memic bested Bati.

Arminho and DziDziAnlaki secured the last semifinal spots after victories versus Stojanov_99 and Tana, respectively. In the Bosnian semifinals, esad1memic outplayed his countryman, Ajdin977, and advanced to the finals. DziDziAnlaki lost his match versus Arminho but managed to beat Ajdin in the third-place decider. Arminho was crowned the champion of this week’s FIFA qualifier as he came out on top against the current champion, esad1memic.
