Favorites justified the role in both FIFA23 and CS:GO!

The first round of the group stage in the A1 Adria League was played throughout the past week. In the first round of the SWISS group stage, we saw favorites coming on strong and securing themselves the first victories, and with each win, they get closer to securing playoffs, and a spot in the top 4.

Bosnian FIFA23 players dominant

We witnessed some exciting matchups in the first round of the FIFA23 group stage. From the qualifiers, we got the best eight in this competition, of which four are Croatian players and four come from Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the first round out of four, as many as three Bosnian players defeated their opponents.

The most interesting match was the last one of the day, a Bosnian duel between two very familiar names in the A1 Adria League and the region. Esad1memic got maybe the hardest opponent in this first round, battling against none other than Tarik Novo, the four-time A1AL FIFA champion. Even though Esad put up a fight, Tarik Novo seems to have in his mind the fifth title, and he is off to a good start. He defeated his opponents with a 2:1 score.

In the other matches, Hara defeated CLA_marac90 with another 2:1 score, as well as Jasik who with the same score was better than CLA_TH3Prod1gy. The easiest win was achieved by CLA_Fico who defeated Dani without losing a game (2:0).

The second round of FIFA will be played on May 12th.

Here is who got the first win in CS:GO

The teams who were successful in the first round of the CS:GO group stage were favorites. They did what everyone expected from them and defeated their opponents. Zero Tenacity, Portugal, Jake Bube, and JESTE got their first wins and are in a great spot before the second round of groups.

In the first match, team-one was battling Jake Bube on Mirage, and the match was intense. In the end, it was Jake Bube who came out victorious with a 16:13 score, where the best player was DiMKE with 27 frags. The most dominant victory, looking at the score, went into the hands of team Portugal. DEPRESHN and Maki got a 16:9 win over team Opusti se on Inferno. The fact that all five players of Portugal had better stats than their opponents says how dominant they were.

The other two matches both got the same result of 16:10. Zero Tenacity bested Confuse and JESTE defeated Infernus Esports. The best players in Z10 were nEMANHA, simke, and brutmonster, while the top fragger in JESTE’s win was HLEB with 26 kills.

The second round of the CS:GO group stage in the A1 Adria League is scheduled for May 14th.

Tin Škrgatić defeats Novo for 100 points in the 3rd FIFA qualifier!

The third FIFA23 qualifier in the A1 Adria League brought us the third different winner of 100 points and the bracket finals. So far Hara and Jakela both won one qualifier each and earned themselves 100 points and basically secured their spot in the group stage. On April 21st Tin “CLA_TH3Prod1gy” Škrgatić did the same.

Tin enters the top 3

Slow and steady we are getting closer to the start of the FIFA23 group stage in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League. Only one qualifier remains and judging by the points, some players are already securing their spots in the league. In the third qualifier, the best player was Tin “CLA_TH3Prod1gy” Škrgatić who defeated some well-known names in the regional A1AL. The first to fall under him was the winner of the first qualifier Harun “Hara” Parla, who was defeated in the second round. After Parla, he easily made his way to the finals where he battled with Tarik Novo, and successfully defeated the four-time champion of the league. With this performance, Tin reached the top three on the scoreboard, and his future in the A1 Adria League this season is looking bright.

On the other side, Tarik Novo also had a successful performance in this qualifier. He scored 70 points, as a runner-up, and now with 90 points overall is also in contention for a place in the group stage. Another name worth mentioning is Esad1memic who in two qualifiers secured third place, gathering 100 points overall (50+50). Hara and Jakela hold the first two places with 170, and 120 points respectively. In the top eight at this moment is the current FIFA champion Gruby. The youngster has 70 points, which he won in the first qualifier. Things are not looking good for last season’s runner-up Brstimir who only has 30 points, and needs to give his best in the last qualifier if he wants to advance further.

The last chance to earn points in FIFA23 qualifiers, players will have on April 28th. Sign up for that qualifier HERE!

17-year-old Gruby is the new FIFA champion!

We witnessed a spectacular FIFA finale on Saturday at Reboot Games Weekend in Zagreb. A duel between Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Marko “Gruby” Grubišić left everyone watching speechless. After 2:0 for brstimir, Gruby returned and ended the final series with 3:2 and became the new A1 Adria League champion in the FIFA competition.

After two years new FIFA champion was crowned

The two best FIFA players of the tenth A1 Adria League season are brstimir and Gruby. As such, they both got an invitation to the LAN event powered by A1 held at Zagreb Fair. Brstimir is one of the best FIFA players in Serbia, he has a big experience and a couple of final attendances in A1AL. On the other hand, the new champion, Gruby is only 17 years old, and this is his first appearance in the League. It only took him one try, not only to win the title but also to eliminate the four-time champion, Tarik Novo. Achievement players couldn’t get in 2 long years.

Gruby and brstimir already fought early in the playoff stage, and in that match brstimir was victorious. Gruby however took his revenge in the grand final of the A1 Adria League. Since brstimir came to the finals from the upper bracket he received an automatic win and started the finals with an advantage. However, that didn’t bother the Croatian player. Even though brstimir won the second match as well and reached a game point, Gruby woke up after that and demolished his opponent.

Gruby FIFA champion in A1 Adria League

The first win for Gruby came in the third match overall, where we saw overtime after a 2:2 result. That game went to penalties where the 17-year-old triumphed with a 4:2 score. In the next match, we only saw one goal on the side of Gruby and the youngster evened out an overall score to 2:2. The moment of truth. Fifth and deciding match. The whole audience was on the verge of ecstasy. By the words of casters, the fifth match wasn’t for the faint-hearted. It was obvious that Gruby had more fans, and everyone wanted the rookie to win.

The final match of the final also went into overtime after a 2:2 score. In the 106th minute, Gruby takes the lead and just a couple of minutes after that he scores again and everyone in the audience rose up and applauded him. Even his opponent brstimir, after conceding another goal rose up, stopped playing, and gracefully accepted defeat. The match was over even before the final whistle, as brstimir congratulated his opponent Gruby on winning a well-deserved title.

Everything you need to know about the FIFA group stage in Season 10

FIFA qualifiers for the tenth season of the A1 Adria League are over! Among the fierce competition, eight players managed to secure their spot in the group stage.

The FIFA trio is back in Season 10

Tarik “Novo” Novo (amke) dominated the leaderboard in the qualifiers with 220 points. At this point, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Novo is confirming his spot as the best FIFA player in the region. In the upcoming season, we’ll be watching esad1memic and brstimir again, excellent players that were challenging Novo in previous seasons. Gruby managed to secure second place with overall 160 points and is looking really good going into the group stage. Hara grabbed third place with 130 points. The same amount that esad1memic has. Brstimir is just below them. The remaining three players are Sardinho213, Encika, and BrunoGuimaraes21. Every season we have at least one underdog that pops up into the scene and brings chaos amongst the favorites. Who will it be this season?

FIFA22 fourth qualifier standings

FIFA 23 is the name of the game

The playing field will be somewhat evened out a bit with a switch to the new FIFA game. The rest of Season 10 will be played on FIFA 23. Maybe that is the chance for other players to dethrone Novo. Players will have some time to adapt to the new game and build their teams. Every year at the same time we switch to the latest FIFA game, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise to any of the players or fans.
