Two teams will be joining us in the Group Stage of A1 Adria League Season 4 and they are Locastic Esports and BLUEJAYS! Welcome to the League boys.
Locastic Esports
Croatian powerhouse name made for themselves during the Season 2 of A1 Adria League. They managed to beat Valiance&CO (now CR4ZY) in the Group Stage but fell short on the LAN finals. They also managed to qualify for the LAN finals of ESL SEC Season 8 in Bucharest!
They didn’t just show us good games on servers, but on social media as well by setting up an example for other esports teams in the region. We are expecting nothing less of them in the upcoming season.
The important thing to note is that initially invite was sent to CR4ZY, the best CS:GO team in the region, but they decided to not accept it because of other obligations.
Guys from BLUEJAYS are putting up a lot of work past few months and they’re now ranked 67th team in the world! They are considered second-best team in the region just because no one can match CR4ZY at this point in time.
Now they’ll get a chance to prove it. They will be joining Locastic Esports, Vilay Esports and uNiQUE in the Group Stage of A1 Adria League Season 4. For sure, everyone will be looking to
The Group Stage of A1 Adria League Season 4 for CS:GO is starting on 12th of September but first, we have to find four more teams to join us. Eight of the best teams from the Open Qualifiers will battle it out during the weekend (31st of August, and 1st of September) for the spot in the League! Season 3 of the A1 Adria League is behind us. More than 500 players from all over the region competed for the title, prize money and the chance to advance in further competitions! After 3 months, 14 open qualifiers and 4 online playoffs we crowned the new champions: Tim123 (Dota2), uNiQUE (CS:GO), Nikola (Clash Royale), reqvam (Hearthstone). Oh yes, and they split more than 6000 euros in prize money!D
With the introduction of the additional season, we gave the players the opportunity to compete throughout the year. Completely played online, Season 3 of the A1 Adria League served as a prelude of the Season 4, which means that the best is yet to come.
The new addition to the League, Dota 2 delivered very interesting matches with the Tim123 coming on top after beating The last jedis, the biggest surprise of the season. Both teams secured their spot in the group stage of the Season 4.
In CS:GO we saw uNiQUE go all the way to the first place. The squad led by SENER1 continued their series of good results by winning the A1 Adria League. theOverPowered put up a great fight in the finals but in the end, uNiQUE was the better team on the given day. We’ll see them both compete in the group stage of next season as well.
By winning the Season 3 of the A1 Adria League uNiQUE was given the opportunity to compete in the Pre-Climber Cup we organized together with the ESL as a stepping stone to higher levels of competition in the ESL esports system, but this time uNiQUE fell short to the BLUEJAYS another team from the Adriatic region.
Clash Royale playoffs gave us some interesting situations like player bumping in the people on the street while playing 1000€ tournament and another dropping the phone during the most important match of the playoffs. It was Nikola who kept his composure through all of this and won the title.
The best player in the Hearthstone qualifiers proved his worth in the playoffs as well. reqvam piloted his Mage deck all the way to the first place beating LemyBiB in the Grand Finals. Nobody should be surprised by great results from this guy anymore. He is hoping to defend the title of the A1 Adria League champion next season, but first, he’ll be attending Masters Tour in Bucharest for which he qualified just before winning the League.
While most of you are enjoying the summer we are preparing something great. Season 4 is right around the corner. You won’t even get a chance to dry yourself of seawater before you start competing again. The next seasons also means more in every aspect! More esports, more players, more prize money, even better opportunities for the winners and of course, big LAN finals at Reboot InfoGamer in Zagreb. Follow us on the social media channels so you don’t miss any big announcements. We are just starting!
