Lupus and Banished Esports are eliminated from the LOL playoffs!

We will not be seeing Lupus and Banished Esports anymore this season as they were eliminated in today’s lower bracket matches.

Two matches were played simultaneously in the lower bracket of this season’s playoffs. As it ended after only two games, Fantastic Esports and Banished Esports concluded their match first. It was Fantastic that came out as the winners and eliminated Banished from the eighth season. A bit after them, the second lower bracket Round 1 match also came to an end. This time, the team that saved itself from elimination was Vinland Esports, while their opponents, Lupus, had to say their goodbyes to the A1 Adria League.

In the meantime, the upper bracket semifinals were also underway. The two teams that qualified for the league together in Qualifier #2, Harmony and 49% winrate, clashed spears in the first of two semifinal matches that took place today. Harmony managed to defeat 49% winrate in the third game of the BO3 match and became the first upper bracket finalist of this playoffs stage. The final match of the day saw Metamoon defeat Clouded Leopards and secure a match versus Harmony in the upper bracket finals.

This week in A1AL: Four action-packed playdays ahead of us

Three A1 Adria League games will be concluding their fourth SWISS round this week, while League of Legends continues its double-elimination bracket.

Brawl Stars

Everyone expected it, and everyone was right. Salada de Frutas qualified to the A1 Adria League playoffs after only three rounds. Up to two teams could secure their spots alongside Salada de Frutas in Round 4. Either Mayoi or Winx Club will qualify on Thursday, and the winning team could potentially be joined by Omert4, who are playing the mid-round match this round. A bit lower on the leaderboard, Lightning Strike and Dominjo Carry will fight to keep their spot. These are the Round 4 matchups:

Lightning Strike vs. Dominjo Carry
Winx Club vs. Mayoi
Balkan Talents vs. Omerta

FIFA

While the favorites of Brawl Stars are still on the top, our reigning champion is in much trouble. Tarik “amke2001” Novo is currently 1-2 on the SWISS leaderboard. Meanwhile, Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac advanced to the playoffs, while Emir “Sulja13” Suljović was eliminated without winning a match this season. Three matches await us on Friday, with two being decider matches and the third being a mid-match between Esad “esad1memic” Memić and Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar:

Esad “esad1memic” Memić vs. Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar
Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak vs. Harun “Hara” Parla
Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo vs. Tarik “amke” Novo

League of Legends

The four upper-bracket quarterfinals announced League of Legends’ comeback to the A1 Adria League streams. Two of the matches were streamed, while two of them were played off-stream. Saturday will once again be filled with LoL action. Metamoon and Clouded Leopards will play for a spot in the upper-bracket finals, while Harmony are facing 49% winrate in the second semifinal. Fantastic Esports – Banished Esports and VinlandLupus are the two lower-bracket elimination matches of this playday.

CS:GO

Anel “NENO” Ceković and PORTUGAL did it once again. The team eliminated SKUAK Gaming in the only match we watched last Sunday and joined iNation in the playoffs. This Sunday, BLUEJAYS and 4glory will be playing their Round 4 match. Last, but not least, JESTE will have the difficult task of defeating Marten Gaming if they want to play in the fifth SWISS round as well. These are the upcoming matches:

BLUEJAYS vs. rs 4glory – 16h
Marten Gaming vs. rs JESTE – 18/19h

Four teams qualify for the League of Legends semifinals!

After four qualifying cups, today we marked the beginning of the League of Legends regional playoffs stage!

The first of the two streamed matches for today saw Clouded Leopards challenge Lupus eSports in a BO3 duel. Lupus eSports were the first team to qualify for the league, and they were also the first team to be sent to the lower bracket. A bit later, Metamoon managed to defeat Vinland Esports in a match that was available for everyone to watch on our streaming channels. In our next playday, Metamoon and Clouded Leopards will clash to decide one of the two winners’ bracket finalists of this season.

49% winrate and Fantastic Esports also played a tough match. Their match wasn’t streamed on our channels. After two intense nail-biters, 49% winrate sent Fantastic Esports to the losers’ bracket in the very first round. Our second off-stream match was between Harmony and Banished Esports. The Macedonian players had the same success as 49% winrate and managed to close out the quarterfinal duel in their favor without much trouble. With these two matches being concluded, we now know the second upper bracket semifinal – Harmony vs. 49% winrate.

The League of Legends quarterfinal matches ended as follows:

League of Legends Results

This week in A1AL: League of Legends is back on the A1 Adria League streams!

Another week of A1 Adria League is ahead of us. Three SWISS stages are already underway, and League of Legend’s regional playoffs stage is finally HERE.

Brawl Stars

Two Brawl Stars rounds are already behind us, and this is the week when we will see the first decider matches of the season. Currently, Salada de Frutas and Winx Club find themselves at the top and one of them will advance to the playoffs on Thursday. On the other side, either Balkan Talents or QuickMind will have to leave the competition after the next playday. Brawl Stars begins on Thursday at the usual time, and you will have the chance to watch the following matches:

Lightning Strike vs. Mayoi
Balkan Talents vs. QuickMind
Salada de Frutas vs. Winx Club
Omerta vs. Dominjo Carry

FIFA

Just a day behind Brawl Stars, FIFA also finished the second round last week. In our football simulation, Esad “esad1memic” Memić and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac are currently in the lead. Their derby will determine the first playoff participant, while the match between Emir “Sulja” Suljović and Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo will determine which player will look for his chance to win the trophy next season. These are the upcoming matches:

brstimir vs. esad1memic
JasikFifa vs. Sulja13
amke2001 vs. edenn95
Hara vs. DrPecho

League of Legends

Over the last month, we hosted a total of four qualifiers for League of Legends teams from all over the region. Four weeks later and here we are – right before the beginning of the regional playoffs stage. This Saturday, the first matches of this stage will be broadcast and we will start our journey of finding the new regional LoL champion. These are the eight teams that qualified for this season of the A1 Adria League:

Lupus eSports
Metamoon
Harmony
49% winrate
Fantastic Esports
Mafija Lebrinyja
gross gore’s psychiatrists
Milex21’s party

CS:GO

Sunday was the day when we said goodbye to Zero Tenacity. The organization that just entered CS:GO unfortunately had to leave the league after suffering a 1-2 loss to their opponents, JESTE. Going forward to Round 4, Marten Gaming and JESTE will fight for survival, while PORTUGAL will try to enter the playoffs by defeating SKUAK Gaming. Make sure to tune in to the stream on Sunday and support your favorite teams once again:

PORTUGAL vs. SKUAK – 16:00
Marten Gaming vs. rs JESTE 18/19:00

The final two teams qualify for our League of Legends season!

GGP and Milex21′ party have completed the League of Legends teams’ list for Season 8 of the A1 Adria League.

Our final qualifier started today at 14:00h, the usual time. Milex21’s party once again had a good playday and this time succeeded in making the playoffs. Their road to the semis started versus Scarred Esports. Next up, they defeated Joks Stoks, and finally, Ronioci fell to Milex21 & co. With this win, they became the last team to join our roster of teams.

Before Milex21’s party did it, another team managed to slip past the competition. The four teams in the lower half of the bracket had no opponents in the first round. In Round 2, we got to know that Split Raiders won’t be participating in this season, as they lost their duel against Uganda Bunari. In the other quarterfinal, Immortal Balkans Esport lost to gross gore’s psychiatrists. The latter also bested their opponents in the deciding match of the fourth qualifier and qualified for our upcoming season.

With our four qualifiers over, we will soon begin broadcasting the regional playoffs of the season. Follow our webpage as well as our Social Media to keep up with all the information about A1AL’s League of Legends tournament.

This week in A1AL: Two spots remain in the LoL league!

Ahead of us is the week that will decide the final two League of Legends teams. In the meantime, CS:GO, FIFA and Brawl Stars continue with the SWISS stage.

Brawl Stars

The first Brawl Stars round was indeed a quick one. Every single one of the four played matches ended with a clean sweep for the favorite team. With no upsets in Round 1, the leaderboard is currently split in half with the dominant teams claiming the 1-0 spots. This week, four new matches will decide which teams will go a step closer to elimination or the playoffs, respectively. Salada de Frutas versus Lightning Strike and Omert4 vs Winx Club – which two teams will advance to the 2-0 pool? What about the matches in the 0-1 SWISS pool? Here are the four matches in this second round:

QuickMind vs. Mayoi
Omert4 vs. Winx Club
BalkanTalents vs. Dominjo Carry
Salada de Frutas vs. Lightning Strike

FIFA

Similar to Brawl Stars, there weren’t major upsets in the first FIFA22 SWISS round either. However, the matches were definitely much closer than in Supercell’s arena brawler and we are eagerly expecting Friday, when the second round will take place. Once again, Tarik “amke2001” Novo and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac will be paired against each other. Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar will try to defeat Đorđe “JasikFifa” Cumbo, while Harun “Hara” Parla’s opponent this playday will be Esad “esad1memic” Memić. And in the very end, Haris “edenn95” Lukomirak will try to get his first win for this season versus Emir “Sulja13” Suljović.

CS:GO

We are halfway done with the third CS:GO round and we already know the first playoffs team. That team is none other than iNation, the A1 Adria League first-timers who beat PORTUGAL in the deciding BO3 duel. The second Serbian team that competed in that playday, 4glory, also took a W last Sunday, and their victims were SKUAK Gaming. This week, one of our matches will be between 1-1 teams – Marten Gaming and BLUEJAYS. While it is an important match, everything isn’t on the line yet for these teams. The same can’t be said about JESTE and Young Glorians (who recently became a part of Zero Tenacity).

 Marten Gaming vs.  BLUEJAYS
rs JESTE vs.  Young Glorians

League of Legends

One qualifier separates us from the regional League of Legends playoffs. That means that the Adriatic teams have only one more chance to make it through to the League. Last time, Fantastic Esports and Mafija Lebrinyja triumphed over every other team in the qualifiers and secured the fifth and sixth League spots. The third LOL qualifier is over; Fantastic & Mafija Lebrinyja qualify!

In the third of four League of Legends qualifiers, Fantastic Esports and Mafija Lebrinyja joined our four already-qualified teams.

A total of 17 teams confirmed their attendance for the third League of Legends qualifier which meanт that the Round of 32 had only one match (Milex21’s party 1 – 0 Team Revenge). In Round 2, Inferal eSports lost to Milex21’s party, but the team’s streak ended in the quarterfinals when they faced Fantastic Esports. The Croatian organization that was a part of the last season managed to advance to the semifinals where they played Dogs unleashed in the decider match. Through TEAM SIGET and G2 Academy v2, respectively, they secured a spot in the duel versus Fantastic which went to all three matches. In the end, however, Fantastic reigned supreme and won the deciding BO3 match.

Devotion and Mafija Lebrinyja fought for the sixth spot in the A1 Adria League. The former advanced at the expense of 30 min team, and later on, Kako god oces, and seemed ready to take the second spot of the day. Further down in the bracket, Mafija Lebrinyja started their journey to the semis by defeating the Macedonian team FunTeam MKD. Their second and simultaneously last opponents before the decider were DARKIC NARKIC. After Fantastic did it a bit earlier, Mafija Lebrinyja also managed to secure a spot in the league.

Ghisou, Harmony: “Winning the title will be our main goal”

The Macedonian squad Harmony was one of the first four teams to qualify for the A1 Adria League. As we are approaching the beginning of the playoffs, we took the time to contact the team’s captain, Ghisou, and talk about the qualifiers and the upcoming season.

First of all, congratulations on qualifying for this A1 Adria League season. Let’s go back to the first qualifier. How did the match against Metamoon go and what were the main mistakes that caused you to lose this deciding match?

Thank you, the match we played against Metamoon in the first qualifier was not the best for us, we made a lot of individual mistakes in the games we lost and maybe our biggest mistake was the draft we had in those games which made us lose the series 2-1.

You managed to qualify in the second qualifier. How did your game improve this time around? How good was the competition? Was the bracket easier than in the first qualifier or was your team in better form?

In the second qualifier we made a lot better drafts and less mistakes both as individuals and as a team which helped us qualify. About the competition and the bracket, I would say that they were around on the same level as the first qualifier.

Do you prefer this season’s format, which has regional qualifiers, or the one that we used in the previous season, with the national qualifying phase? Why?

I can say that this format is probably better since it allows teams from all countries of this region to try their luck to qualify, while on the other hand the format from the last season was strict on how many teams needed to be registered in the national qualifier in order for a team from that country to be able to compete.

You reached the grand finals in Season 7. Can you repeat the success in this season and even win the title? What are your expectations as a team?

Yes, we managed to reach the finals in Season 7, but we don’t see our grind stopping there. We will try to repeat the success from last season and try to improve it in this season by winning the title as that will be our main goal.

The League of Legends qualifying phase is still going on and our next cup will be played on Saturday. SIGN UP and become one of the next two teams to join the 4.000€ worth eighth season.
