Brawl Stars

With two qualifiers left until the beginning of the group stage, Salada de Frutas have a firm lead over the competition. Three wins in a row secured them 300 points and a spot on the very top of the leaderboard. Next to them are Winx Club with 170, while Omert4 are placed third with 150 points next to their name. Teams like BalkanTalents and Pop Off are a part of the top 8 leaderboard with 70 points, which means that every team still has a chance to qualify for the league. All you need are two good performances in the upcoming qualifiers.

FIFA

The last FIFA qualifier of this season and this year is ahead of us. Tarik “amke2001” Novo has been brilliant during the entire qualifying process and is now leading the table with 270 points. The rest of the players are behind by at least 90 points. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac (180) and Harun “Hara” Parla (160) are behind amke2001, with Esad “esad1memic” Memić closing in behind them with his 140 points. The eighth place is occupied by Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar. One more qualifier means one more chance for everyone in the region.

Here is what Hara had to say about his experience in the league so far:

“I am really satisfied by the tournament so far, a lot of players are signing up to play and there are also a lot of players that can be tough to play against. It wasn’t easy to qualify in the top 8, but with my will and persistence, I achieved the result that I wanted to achieve since the first qualifier. Everything is on the table in the next round as we are transferring to a new game and getting used to the new meta will influence the results. My humble opinion is that I will manage to enter the top 4 stage.”

League of Legends

The wait is OVER! We are excited to announce the first of four League of Legends qualifiers for A1 Adria League S8. Saturday (25.09.2021) will be the day when we will watch teams from all over the region battle it out for the first two spots in the League. The main difference from Season 7 is that we have swapped the national qualifier with regional ones and will advance to the playoffs right after the conclusion of the four qualifiers. During the qualifiers, the teams will play a single-elimination BO1 bracket except for the deciding matches that will be played in a BO3 format.

CS:GO

On Sunday, the first SWISS round for this season came to an end. PORTUGAL and BLUEJAYS secured victories against their opponents and joined iNation and 4glory in the winners’ half of the bracket. On the other side, Marten Gaming and JESTE along with Young Glorians and SKUAK. These latter four teams will be looking to improve their Round 1 results in the second round, and this Sunday, we will watch the following two matchups:

26.09.2021 – SWISS Round 2-1

Marten Gaming vs.  Young Glorians
rs 4glory vs. PORTUGAL

Salada de Frutas keep dominating the region!

After plowing over the competition for the third time, Salada de Frutas now have 300 points on the Brawl Stars leaderboard.

In this qualifier, we had great matches since the very first round. Omert4 and Mayoi met each other and the following match saw Omert4 come out as the winners. In the same part of the bracket, Winx Club bested FA Impact and then went on to defeat Omert4 in the Round of 16. Winx Club secured a top-eight spot, but that is all they managed to achieve this qualifier, as Salada de Frutas were in the upper part of the bracket as well. After outplaying Ultra Crnci and QuickMind, Andrey_ & co. were better than Winx Club as well and advanced to the semifinals. There, they met a newer team – BalkanTalentsEsport.

This squad defeated teams such as Reborn Legends Esports and Lightning Strike before reaching the semis, but they weren’t ready to face the level of play the Salada de Frutas players displayed in the arena. Even more impressive is the result of Interventna, another new team that hasn’t played a qualifier so far this season. Interventna eliminated Immortal Balkans Junior from the fourth Brawl Stars qualifier and also bested HELIHOPTERI and pop off in the following rounds. Their great streak came to an end in the finals when Salada de Frutas showed them who’s boss. Check out today’s stream below:

Brawl Stars Q4

This week in A1AL: More cups, more points, more games!

CS:GO’s first SWISS round is coming to an end, and in the meantime, FIFA and Brawl Stars will crown their fourth qualifier’s winners this week.

Brawl Stars

We have a slight map change for this week of Brawl Stars. Instead of Brawl Ball, our regional squads will be playing Bounty. Last week, Salada de Frutas claimed first place after their second consecutive win for this season. Winx Club are currently second with 150 points, and Omert4 are trailing behind by only 10 points. It has been a whole month since the qualifiers started, and we are slowly starting to round up the teams that will participate in this season’s SWISS stage. This week, one Brawl Stars player talked about the current season and his expectations for the League. This is what Protić from Omert4 had to say:

“Hello, I am protić from team Omerta. I am playing together with Bogdan and Brankec. We are currently third which has been good enough so far, but we are sure that we could have done better because we lost important matches to small mistakes. We could maybe have been first or second, but we are satisfied with our placement seeing as the competition is much tougher in this season and a lot of good new teams appeared. Of course, our biggest rivals for the season are Salada de Frutas and Winx Club, and I would also add Lightning Strike here. They started playing together this season and they are already looking great. They are currently placed fourth and they are really close to the other teams.

As far as my expectations are concerned, if we continue with this form, I believe that we will reach the very final stages of the tournament – at least top 4. After that, nothing is certain, as all teams there will be very good and there will be a number of intense matches that could easily end both ways. With enough practice and preparations, I am sure that we could reach the finals and maybe even win the whole league. I just want to say that I am eagerly awaiting the next qualifiers and I wish good luck to all the other teams!”

FIFA

There are only two FIFA qualifiers remaining. After the qualifying phase comes to an end, the best eight players will play a SWISS group stage, but in the new edition of the franchise, FIFA22. Our reigning champion, Tarik “amke2001” Novo continued with his great performance in the third qualifier where he defeated Esad “esad1memic” Memić in the grand finals. The latter played is currently ranked second, together with Đorđe “JasikFIFA” Cumbo (both players have 130 points). Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Harun “Hara” Parla are close to the aforementioned players and they are looking to close the difference in the upcoming qualifier.

CS:GO

iNation, SKUAK, 4glory, and Young Glorians. Those are the names of the four teams that played the very first CS:GO playday for this eighth season of Counter-Strike. The iNation squad led by Ivan “choiv7” Živković faced Bledar “BledarD” Dula & SKUAK in a fierce BO3 which saw the former came out as winners after two maps. The same thing happened in 4glory’s match, but with much more difficulties. Namely, Young Glorians nearly upset 4glory on two occasions, taking the game to overtime both times. In the end, 4glory’s experience reigned supreme and they closed out the match in their favor. This week, the first SWISS round continues. PORTUGAL is going to challenge Marten Gaming, while BLUEJAYS will play versus JESTE.

Salada de Frutas take the lead after two wins in a row!

For the second time in as many playdays, Salada de Frutas destroyed everyone and claimed first place in our Brawl Stars qualifier of the week.

Half of our qualifiers are now finished. Today, the Brawl Stars players that have been eagerly awaiting the beginning of our new qualifiers jumped into the arenas to earn more points. We are slowly forming our leaderboard, with teams such as Salada de Frutas, Mayoi, and Winx Club slowly confirming their spot in the league. Lightning Strike also had a good day in this qualifier, but their victory celebrations after the match against Immortal Balkans were quickly shut down by Salada de Frutas. Last qualifier’s winners paved their way to yet another grand final appearance after winning their matches versus Night Alpha, Twisted Mind, the aforementioned Lightning Strike squad, and finally Mayoi.

On the other side of the bracket, QuickMind did even better than in the first qualifier. They went all the way to the semifinals, but Winx Club were there to stop them in their tracks. The two semifinal matches ended in favor of Salada de Frutas and Winx Club. The former defeated Mayoi with a dominant 3-0 final scoreline, and the same thing happened in the second semifinal match of the day. Finally, the grand final was played out. Salada de Frutas faced Winx Club, and they managed to hold their ground once again. One more 3-0 win put another 100 points in the bag for the squad, and they are now leading the Brawl Stars battle.

This week in A1AL: FIFA & Brawl Stars qualifiers continue!

The battle for points gets more and more intense as the number of remaining qualifiers declines. Meanwhile, CS:GO’s team list is completed and the SWISS stage starts this Sunday.

Brawl Stars

After they didn’t earn points in the first qualifier, DzonDzon and Salada de Frutas dominated everyone in Week 2. Three teams are currently fighting for the first spot, which is now occupied by Omert4. They have 120 points, while Lightning Strike and Salada de Frutas have 100 points each. The third qualifier that will be played this Thursday will decide a lot of things. Will one of these teams increase their lead on the leaderboard, or will a new name take the first place. With Mayoi and Winx Club owning 70 points, it is entirely possible to see a major turnaround on the table by the end of our third playday.

FIFA

The only individual title for the season, FIFA, completed the second qualifier with a blast. Đorđe “Jasik” Cumbo made a great return to the A1 Adria League stadiums by winning the qualifier over Petar “DrPecho” Šušnjar. The latter is an up-and-coming name on the scene, and after recently qualifying for the FIFA21 Adria Prvenstvo tournament, he is here to make sure he becomes a part of A1 Adria League’s story as well. We have a total of four players with 70 points, while the top two spots are tied between Jasik and Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac, who both have 110 points so far.

CS:GO

It wasn’t until this Sunday that we got to know the names of all eight CS:GO teams for this season. AIRLYA, Young Glorians and SKUAK Gaming filled our three vacant spots and now we are ready to begin with the SWISS phase of our league. Besides the three aforementioned teams, we will get the chance to watch five more teams compete for the €5.000 prize pool. The invited teams, PORTUGAL and 4glory, will be joined by some familiar names. Namely, Marko “Maki” Mijatović and Marten Gaming, the new iNation squad as well as JESTE will play on our servers in the upcoming months.

We also took the time to talk to one of the qualified players. Jane “aidKiT” Apostoloski from AIRLYA shared a short statement about the recent qualifiers and the team’s expectations for the league:

“We played out the qualifiers pretty good, without many hardships. But, of course, we are always looking to improve in every aspect and to fix our mistakes. We are expecting to finally win first place this season after fighting for it for more than a year. Our biggest rivals for the season will be our frequent opponents 4glory, Marten Gaming, and iNation. We play against them often and I am sure that we know how to counter them now. As I said, we are expecting an intense league with a lot of interesting matches and us ending on the very top.”

Salada de Frudas destroy the competition in the second Brawl Stars qualifier!

Salada de Frudas showed everyone that they are back and won the second Brawl Stars qualifier of this A1 Adria League season!

The teams that won the first points showed that their great performances weren’t a one-time thing. Omert4 outplayed and eliminated Winx Club, their opponents in the previous final, in the third round of this qualifier. Lightning Strike and Immortal Balkans faced off a round later, and in the end, Lightning Strike came out as the winners. There were also new names between the top teams. Namely, Mayoi EU defeated teams such as Uchiha Klan and Omerta Blue in the earlier rounds of the qualifier, while Reborn Legends Esports faced IamGang and Night Alpha. These two teams faced against each other in the quarterfinals and Mayoi came out as the winners.

Back in the upper half of the bracket, DzonDzon and Salada de Frudas also had a great run. They beat Dominjo carry, kowey., and in the quarterfinals, they managed to eliminate last qualifier’s winners, Omert4. Salada de Frutas reached the finals over Lightning Strike, and there, the final BO5 match of this playday saw Salada de Frutas overpower their opponents, Mayoi, with ease.

As mentioned in the announcement, this season will feature six Brawl Stars qualifiers that will be played on a new platform, Challengermode. Over 70 teams registered for this qualifier, but only eight of them advanced far enough to earn points.

Even further in the bracket, Lightning Strike and Ez Clappers ended their first playday in the 3-4. positions that earn them 50 points each. The grand final was a clash between Wiinx Club and OMERT4. Clash of Leagues draws to a close; SK Gaming claim the crown!

After two convincing victories in the LAN stage of the tournament, the world’s top team, SK Gaming, has won €2,000 and the Clash of Leagues champions title.

It has certainly been a wild ride since the announcement of the Clash of Leagues was revealed two months ago. The €5,000-worth tournament brought together teams from 15 European countries and from five of Europe’s most prestigious esports leagues. Among them, two Adriatic teams set on a journey to reach the LAN finals and represent the region on the European scene. First, Omerta, our newly-appointed team after the combining of Noble Elite Red and BLK, played the group stage. They had their moments but didn’t prove good enough against the fierce competition that also competed during the seven playdays.

Noble Elite were next in line. Despite losing their semifinal match against BIG, DzonDzon & co. bounced back in the lower bracket and secured one of the four LAN spots along with SK Gaming, BIG, and Chernobyl Dribblers. All four teams traveled to Salzburg to clash one final time and decide who is the undisputed Brawl Stars champion of Central & East Europe. Noble Elite and SK Gaming played against each other in the first semifinal. Despite having a good recent form, the new Clash of Leagues champions were too big of a challenge for the regional team. Noble Elite ended the single-elimination bracket with a 0-3 loss. Next up were BIG and Chernobyl Dribblers, a match that saw the former advance ahead to make for an all-German final.

And what a final it was. Until the very last second, both teams stood equal in the arena and we witnessed a clash of epic proportions. In the end, however, only one team could lift the winner’s trophy and this time, that team was SK Gaming. Symantic, SkYRiiKZz, and Jeton are the Clash of Leagues champions. Congratulations to SK Gaming, all other teams and players, and everyone included in the Clash of Leagues.

Clash of Leagues’ €5,000 prize pool was split in the following manner:

1. SK Gaming – €2,000
2. BIG – €1,000
3-4. Chernobyl Dribblers – €500
3-4.hrrs Noble Elite – €500

The Brawl Stars action is over now, but not for long. Next Thursday, a new A1 Adria League season of Brawl Stars starts with six open qualifiers. Sign up and who knows, you may very well become the next regional champion!

The time has come – can Noble Elite conquer Europe on LAN?

Before the beginning of Noble Elite’s match versus SK Gaming, we asked DzonDzon a couple of questions about their upcoming LAN tournament.

After many days of intense Brawl Stars action, the day has come. Today we will see who is the Brawl Stars champion of Central & Eastern Europe. Clash of Leagues has let teams from all over the region compete for their share of the €5,000 prize pool. Five champions and five runners-up in five European leagues were invited to join the final and group stages of the Clash of Leagues, respectively. The second-placed squads along with three qualified sides played a group stage and the best three of them advanced through to the playoffs. Here, Noble Elite fought fiercely and succeeded in qualifying for the Salzburg LAN where they are facing SK Gaming today.

How have your preparations for the Clash of Leagues been going? Are you ready to take on some of Europe’s best teams?

The preparations have been going great so far, we had a lot of scrims, prepared everything and I think that we are ready to crush the biggest teams in Europe.

How satisfied are you by the results in your played matches so far?

I honestly can’t complain because we qualified after all, but I had some technical problems with my connection because I was on vacation and because of that, I had a delay. Thankfully, I had my team to carry me to victory.

How is the atmosphere in the team before the beginning of this major Brawl Stars LAN?

The atmosphere is really great, especially because this is the first LAN tournament for Adri and Andrey, and it even is in another country. They will have a chance to meet the best European players, so as I said, the atmosphere is excellent.

Who do you think will reach the grand finals in the other matchup?

I am convinced that it is going to be BIG. The guys are on fire since Eqwaak arrived and I am happy for them as we are really good friends with them.

What are your chances against SK Gaming? How hard will it be to upset such a big name?

Of course, it will be really hard against SK Gaming, they aren’t just the best European team, but the number one team in the world as well. But this is a LAN, a lot of cameras, a lot of people, and the pressure is much bigger than when playing at home. So I think, this is the right moment to crush SK Gaming.

As has been the case during the entire tournament, you can watch the culmination of the Clash of Leagues on our official channels (YouTubeTwitchTrovoFacebook). SupremeNexus will be casting the final matches of the league, and together, we will all cheer for Noble Elite.
