Maki and Šego are Croatia’s 2v2 champions!

In the LAN finals of Red Bull Flick 2021 Croatia, Marko “Maki” Mijatović and Gabrijel “Šego” Šego managed to outplay all three teams and win the main prize.

A LAN after a long time – Red Bull Flick had everything we needed!

The online transition caused by the COVID-19 pandemic made us nearly forget LAN tournaments, so the Red Bull Flick finals were a great change of scenery. Four pairs of players faced each other in Zadar’s Falkensteiner hotel with 35.000kn and many other rewards on the line. Of course, the winners will get the chance to represent Croatia in the regional qualifiers for the main event.

Maki and Šego’s team, TIGROVI, started out strong since the first match. Their victims in the upper bracket semis were ELOLOVILO Youngsters (consisting of Roko “rbfurious” Barišić and Zvonimir “zRose” Roso). After defeating the Youngsters, TIGROVI went on to outplay Filip “DEPRESHN” Jarkić and Ermin “revyy” Kardović (Dva Cilindra). In the lower bracket, Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić and Luka “brky” Brkanac succeeded in eliminating ELOLOVILO YNG from the tournament.

ELOLOVILO Youngsters

ELOLOVILO Youngsters were the first team to leave the event!

A bit later, the lower bracket finals were played out. CKUKO and Dva Cilindra clashed in a BO5 duel that ended with a victory for Salted in brky, thus eliminating the losing side from Red Bull Flick 2021. The grand finals between TIGROVI and CKUKO were a clean sweep for the former duo. Both Šego and Maki had incredible performances during the whole match and secured the main prize for themselves.

The final Red Bull Flick 2021 Croatia placings are as follows:

1. hr TIGROVI – (Maki and Šego) – 15,000kn + ESHARK and Falkensteiner rewards

iNation and 4glory triumph in the first CS:GO playday!

In the SWISS stage debut for this season, iNation outplayed SKUAK, while 4glory defeated the second squad of their organization, Young Glorians.

Seeing as CS:GO ended its qualifying phase first, it was only natural for Valve’s FPS to enter the SWISS stage before our other titles. A long season is ahead of us. Every match in the SWISS stage will be played as a BO3 and only the very best will advance to the playoffs. Today, two of the four Round 1 matches were played out. iNation made their debut in the League in the first match of the eighth season. Their opponents were SKUAK, the only Albanian squad currently competing in the A1 Adria League. We watched two close maps and in the end, the Serbian powerhouse came out as the winners of this duel. Both Ancient and Dust2 ended after more than 25 rounds, and iNation deservedly earned their first point of the season.

4glory and Young Glorians started off on Nuke. While everyone expected 4glory to have an easy time against their juniors, Young Glorians had an amazing showing on the map. The match went to overtime, but in the end, 4glory’s experience reigned supreme and Miloš “dEE” Marčeta and his team closed off the first map with a victory. Inferno’s first half, however, was a whole other story. 4glory absolutely dominated their opponents in the first round, but later on, Young Glorians took the lead. Once again, the entire map was a nail-biter, once again, we reached overtime, and once again, 4glory defeated Young Glorians.

SKUAK, AIRLYA, and Young Glorians finalize CS:GO’s teams list!

With our second pair of qualifiers behind us, we have completed the CS:GO teams list for the eighth A1 Adria League season!

18 teams tried to secure the eight closed-qualifier spots yesterday. The second round was the deciding one this time around. Filip “MUFFY” Cvetić and endusty convincingly beat Defektasi 2-0 to join the qualified teams. Right next to them in the bracket, the second 4glory squad, Young Glorians, were better than Adonis “adon1s” Gashi and ELITE. SKUAK Gaming had no problems in their BO3 versus DONDA, and nije dolazio defeated Mario “Mariuchii” Grdović and KolindaVratiSe after a tough 2-1 marathon.

The best Macedonian team, AIRLYA, faced NoWin in their decider match. Daniel “dan1” Gligorov & co. didn’t let the opposing team upset them and closed out the game after only two maps. Sinking Ship did the same against 4glory Youngest, the second squad that the Serbian organization featured in this qualifier. The last two teams to qualify were SENKE and CKUKO, who did so over Team From Hell and Beograd Gaming, respectively.

CS:GO Teams Q2

After an intense open qualifier, the aforementioned eight teams joined the single-elimination BO3 bracket to fight for the last three spots in the league. Kujtim “gulito-“ Durmishi and SKUAK Gaming achieved the first victory in this phase of the qualifiers. Their opponents were Luka “brky” Brkanac’s CKUKO who suffered a 2-0 loss in this match. Next up, AIRLYA advanced to the semifinals after being the better team in their match versus nije dolazio. SKUAK and AIRLYA were joined by Young Glorians and SENKE, respectively.

Young Glorians proved to be tough opponents for the Albanian team SKUAK. Even though they gave it their best, this deciding BO3 match ended in favor of SKUAK Gaming. The second semifinal ended after two maps, with AIRLYA coming out as the winners. With these two matches completed, we got two of the three qualified teams. What remained was the third-place decider between SENKE and Young Glorians. This final match of this season’s CS:GO qualifiers ended up in a victory for Young Glorians – our last team to join the league.

Teams Q2

Anlaki, Marten Gaming, and JESTE qualify for the A1 Adria League!

After our first open qualifier concluded yesterday, today, eight teams fought for three spots in the CS:GO A1 Adria League.

An interesting mix of upcoming and experienced teams signed up for the first of two open qualifiers we are hosting for this season. The best eight teams were supposed to go to the closed qualifier and that’s why the most important matches were those in the Round of 16. VeryBadPlayers were actually very good players as they managed to outplay Dimitar “raniiiN” Avramovski and Donda. Next up, a regional team consisting of players such as Krunoslav “Salted” Katalinić and one of Season 7’s winners, Petar “HOLMES” Dimitrijević, defeated 200DINPEEK and secured the closed qualifiers.

Anlaki are one of the squads that have improved the most during the summer. Today, they kept up with their great recent performances and become one of the eight qualified teams, together with stich and Aimabazi who did so over TENACITYgg. The other half of the matches had some interesting results. Nemanja “nEMANHA” Đukić and 1tap upset Young Glorians, while Aleksandar “HLEB” Todorović’s JESTE was better than NoTalents. Last but not least, Marten Gaming and Immortal Balkans bested 4glory Youngest and KS Geto, respectively.

CS:GO Open Qualifier #1

Today, starting at 12 o’clock, Anlaki and seven other teams met in a single-elimination bracket to decide the three sides that could join the invited teams in the eighth season. Despite their good result in the open qualifier, 1tap were powerless against Anlaki. The same can be said for Aimabazi who lost to JESTE in their quarterfinal match. Marten Gaming outplayed Immortal Balkans, and for the last match of this stage, CKUKO played better than VeryBadPLayers and concluded the quarterfinals.

Next up were the two semis. As the match between CKUKO and VeryBadPlayers lasted longer than the other three, the second semifinal started a bit later. In the meantime, Anlaki and JESTE faced off in their duel to decide the first qualified team. In the end, that team was Anlaki, while JESTE were relegated to the third-place decider. Marten Gaming came out as the winners of the second semifinal at the expense of CKUKO. The third League spot went to JESTE since they convincingly won the third-place decider.

The next and also last CS:GO qualifier will be played on Saturday. So hurry up, assemble your team and SIGN UP.
