Harmony finally wins the trophy in the A1 Adria League!

On Thursday, April 6th, the first mini-tournament in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League was played. Through this one day, we have seen more than 20 teams compete for the top prize and a trophy in League of Legends. The battle was fierce and we saw some great and exciting games. In the end, the team who climbed all the way to the top and became the champion was Harmony.

Harmony dominated the tournament

After many brilliant performances from Harmony in A1 Adria League, the prize for this team has finally arrived. Harmony is a well-known name in A1AL, and we have seen them compete in the previous two seasons as well. The title was always near, but Harmony couldn’t get it. Twice they reached the grand finals, and twice they were on the verge of winning the whole thing. This year it finally happened, and it was deservedly.

Needless to say, the North Macedonian team was a force to be reckoned with in this tournament. Their first two matches didn’t even last 30 minutes, and their opponents kept surrendering even before losing an inhibitor! Up until the finals Harmony was stomping their opponents in the Bo1 match. In the grand finals, they took on team Elitni Odredi, but they weren’t a problem either, as Harmony became a champion with a 2:0 score.

As a winner Harmony received a 600€ prize, while the runner-up took home 300€. We also had a battle for third place and a 100€ prize between Panda Claus’ Party and SPIRITUAL ZERO – REFORMED, where the latter got the win.

The first mini-tournament is successfully over, but there is no reason to fret, as we have more of these coming soon. The next up is the VALORANT tournament, which will be played next week, April 13th. For Riot’s FPS game, you can sign up HERE!

Stara Garda is the new A1AL LoL champion!

Once again the tournament in League of Legends appeared in the A1 Adria League. After a very exciting qualifier, four teams took their spot in the playoffs. The League of Legends playoffs were played last week and we got the champion for the tenth A1AL in the most popular MOBA game. Stara Garda was the best team in the competition and took the title.

Stara Garda on top

The four top teams in this season League of Legends competition were HARMONY, Fantastic eSports, Whatever Esports, and the new champions. The bracket brought us two semifinals where we saw Stara Garda compete against team Whatever Esports, while HARMONY took on the Fantastic team.

LoL playoffs bracket

As expected, the teams that advanced to the upper bracket’s finals were Stara Garda and HARMONY. The latter we know very well in A1AL as they also made it to the grand finals in our eighth season. However, Garda took down their opponents with a 2:0 win and sent HARMONY to the lower bracket. There HARMONY waited for either Whatever or Fantastic Esports. HARMONY came out victorious in the lower bracket’s final and went on to face Garda again. This time there was no time for mistakes as the prize was waiting.

The scenery was the same. Stara Garda demolished HARMONY once again with the same score of 2:0. This team actually didn’t lose a single game in the playoffs, which showed how dominant their performance was. The roster made out of Coatpustmain, Velja, MarrowOoze, Lelouch, and Shone took home the title and the 700€ prize.

League of Legends playoffs are just around the corner!

League of Legends made its appearance in yet another season of the A1 Adria League. Much like last season LoL format contains qualifications and playoffs, where the top four teams will compete. The top four contenders for this season are Fantastic eSports, HARMONY, Stara Garda, and Pedantic esports.

Who will lift the trophy?

More than 50 teams registered for this season’s qualifier in League of Legends. Unfortunately, there was a bracket limit, so we saw the overall of 32 teams compete for only four spots in the playoff stage. There were a lot of surprises in these qualifications, and we have seen some familiar names compete for the next stage and a chance to be the best team in the region.

On one side of the bracket, it was L9 Exodia and HARMONY who were fighting for the semifinals and a ticket to the playoff stage. In their Bo3 duel, it was HARMONY, the eighth-season finalist, who was stronger. They took the win with a 2:0 score. Pedantic esports did the same with their opponents, also ending the deciding match with a 2:0 win.

The biggest surprise in the past LoL qualifier was Fantastic eSports who dominated the competition, eliminating two very familiar names in the region. They defeated Diamant Esports, who we know from EBL, and 49% winrate who were also in the top four in the eighth season. Diamant Esports not making it to the playoffs is the biggest upset of the season, seeing that in EBL Summer Split they were the third-best team.

The fourth contender for the title is team Stara Garda who defeated team TEMTG with a 2:0 score.

The finals, i.e. playoffs in the League of Legends competition in the tenth A1 Adria League season are scheduled for Saturday, October 15th. The matches begin at 2 PM and the bracket will be double elimination, so there is little space for mistakes. The winner will take a 700€ prize!

Panj: “We expected the win before we signed up”

The League of Legends competition in A1 Adria League finished last Saturday. We have gotten the new LoL champions and the title went to team DZANGLERI. We have spoken with the captain of the team Panj about his experience in A1AL, expectations, success, and more.

How does it feel to win the regional LoL competition in A1 Adria League?

The feeling is great of course, but we have already expected the win even before we signed up, so we weren’t as euphoric cause we knew we were going to win.

What is your opinion about this year’s competition?

I think the competition was harder than we had expected, especially against the team we played in the grand final.

You lost only one match during the playoffs, the one in the finals. What influenced such good performance of the team?

Our great performance comes from the experience we have. Each and every one of us had already played in higher lever competitions than the other teams in this tournament have.

What do you think about the new LoL format, where the competition only lasts two weekends, compared to the standard format in games like Brawl Stars, CS:GO, and FIFA?

I think this format is better because it’s all happening online, but on the other hand, if it would have some kind of LAN final, the players would also enjoy it and maybe prefer that one.

Are you already thinking about the new A1AL season, and do you intend to sign up for the 10th season as well?

We still don’t have any plans for the upcoming season, but if we are available at that time we will surely participate again.

What are your impressions and experience, now that the competition is completed?

Everything was great, and as I already said I really enjoyed this format because of the possibility of competing online.

The new LoL champions of the ninth season are DZANGLERI!

After two intense weekends of the League of Legends championship, we have finally gotten a new champion in the ninth season of the A1 Adria League. Even though we have seen a lot of great teams, one name stood out in front of the others. It was team DZANGLERI who in the end came victorious defeating everybody on their journey to the title.

DZANGLERI bested Reroot Gaming in the Grand Final

Last week we have seen four teams advance to the League of Legends playoff in A1AL. DZANGLERI, GINYU FORCE, Reroot Gaming, and Harmony deserved to fight for the title and 1000€ prize pool.

The upper bracket semi-finals started well for last season vice-champions Harmony, who defeated Reroot Gaming and sent them to the lower bracket of the tournament. In the other semifinals, DZANGLERI easily won against GINYU FORCE, who with this defeat had to face Reroot Gaming.

While the semifinals were Bo1, the finals of the lower and upper brackets were Bo3 as well as the grand final. In the upper bracket finals, DZANGLERI managed to send Harmony to the lower bracket with an easy 2:0 score. The lower bracket semifinals went into the hands of Reroot Gaming as well as the finals against Harmony. Reroot eliminated Harmony after two games, a team that has been the second-best LoL squad in the last season of the A1 Adria League.

The grand final saw DZANGLERI and Reroot Gaming compete for the title of the best regional LoL team. Reroot Gaming handed DZANGLERI their first loss today in game 1. But that’s everything Reroot Gaming got in this series. DZANGLERI picked up their game and won the next two matches over their opponents. They were a superior team throughout the whole playoffs which in the end brought them a 700€ prize. Reroot Gaming in the second place will be awarded 300€.

Watch the League of Legends playoffs of the A1 Adria League!

The four of the best teams in the League of Legends qualifier will compete on Saturday, 16th of April for the prize pool of 1000€! Harmony, GINYU FORCE, DZANGLERI, and Reroot Gaming are the teams we will watch as they battle it out on the Summoner’s Rift for the trophy!

Four teams in a battle for 1000€

Harmony had a convincing showing in the qualifier. The last year’s finalists managed to secure their spot in the playoffs with a 2:0 win over Prolom Voda. GINYJU FORCE bested Cloud Leopards in the same fashion for a spot in the top 4. DZANGLERI outplayed paraolimpijci while Reroot Gaming and Seraphine t3 subs had to play all three matches to decide which team is going to advance. In the end, it was the Reroot Gaming squad that came on top.

The playoffs will be played in the double-elimination format. Semifinals matches will be Best-of-1, while all of the remaining matches, including the grand finals, will be Best-of-3 series.

A1AL LoL Playoffs

Here is the schedule:
14:00 – Semifinals
15:00 – Upper bracket finals & Elimination match
17:30 – Lower bracket finals
20:00 – Grand finals

Where to watch?

League of Legends playoffs of the ninth season of the A1 Adria League will be streamed on YouTube, Twitch.tv, and Trovo.  Well-known voices of SupremeNexus and Hakkinen will be bringing you all the action as we find out who will become the champion!

The first team to secure LoL playoffs in A1AL was Harmony!

The first and only qualifier for the most famous game in the world League of Legends is over. We have seen as many as 22 teams fight for the top 4 placements and playoffs which will be held next week. The winner will receive a 700€ prize, while the second-place team will be awarded 300€.

Decisive performance from Harmony and GINYU FORCE

Teams had a long journey today in order to qualify for the semifinals and playoff in League of Legends. We have seen some familiar names, as well as some new teams. One of the teams that had a good and dominant run until the quarterfinals were Clouded Leopards. Unfortunately, they didn’t manage to defeat GINYU FORCE in the Bo3 quarterfinals and qualify for the LoL playoff. It was team GINYU FORCE who came out of that match victorious, with a clean 2:0 win.

One of the first LoL teams that secured their spot in the semifinals is a well-known team, Harmony. The Macedonian squad also participated last year in A1 Adria League and even reached the finals, where they eventually lost to last year’s champion Metamoon. This year Harmony is also showing how committed and strong they are. With a 2:0 win over Prolom Voda, they managed to qualify for playoffs.

While Harmony and GINYU FORCE had it easy, the other two semifinalists had to play all three games to secure the win. Team DZANGLERI managed to defeat paraolimpijci and be the third team to advance to the semifinals.

The longest Bo3 series was between Seraphine t3 subs and Reroot Gaming. Both teams showed great skill and desire to move to the next stage of the competition but unfortunately only one could. After three matches, team Reroot Gaming managed to defeat their opponents and be the last, fourth team to advance to the semifinals.

These 4 teams in the A1AL League of Legends competition will fight for the title and the prize next Saturday so don’t miss it. The bracket will be double elimination, and the top two teams will be awarded. Good luck!

League of Legends qualifiers are around the corner!

League of Legends is once again a part of the A1 Adria League. In Season 9 we made some changes to the format. There will be only one qualifier for League of Legends and you don’t want to miss it! The best teams from the Adriatic region will get the opportunity to secure a spot in the playoffs to battle it out for the trophy.

Start your League of Legends journey

League of Legends is the most popular esports in the world. Throughout the years one of the most popular PC games received a number of accolades including those for Best Free-to-Play Game at the Golden Joystick Awards in 2011, Best Esports Game at The Game Awards in 2019 and 2020, and many others. In 2021 there were around 715,000 players in the game at any given time! It’s still one of the most popular categories on Twitch.tv despite being released 13 years ago. It’s pretty clear why is it still a part of the A1 Adria League.

Last year we saw team Metamoon lift the trophy after beating teams like Harmony and 49% winrate. Now the new journey begins as we seek a new League of Legends champion of the A1 Adria League. The prize pool for Season 9 is 1000€. The winning team will take home 700€, while the rest will go to the 2nd best. Keep in mind that the whole competition will be played over two consecutive Saturdays. One for qualifiers, and the other for playoffs.

The qualifiers will be played in a single-elimination best of one format with deciding matches will be best of three series (quarterfinals). This way we will get the four teams that will be competing for the title. The format for the playoffs will be double elimination, the only difference from qualifiers is that all the matches will be played in the best of three series. One of the requirements for the teams is that at least three players are from the countries in the Adriatic regions (3+2). Don’t miss out on the qualifiers. You have only one chance to make it to the playoffs! Sing up now.
