TT9 Chico is the A1AL Fortnite champion!

One by one the mini-tournaments in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League are ending. Only two are left, PUBG, and the last is yet to be revealed. On April 25th and 26th, the qualifiers and the finals were played in the Fortnite tournament. Out of 263 players, only 100 made it to the finals. Of those 100 players, the one that came out victorious is TT9 Chico.

Big names in A1AL Fortnite; TT9 Chico justified the role of favorite

Of the 100 players that appeared in the finals, 70 made it there throughout the qualifiers, while 30 got an invite. As it was mentioned a lot of well-known Fortnite players showcased their skills in the regional league, A1AL. Besides TT9 Chico, who was a favorite for winning the tournament which he evidently did, and brought home a prize of 250 euros. Some other familiar and professional Fortnite players were competing in this tournament. Trulex, T3eny, and Quaesy are just some of the names who participated in this tournament. Queasy alone currently ranks as the best player in the world and was declared the best IGL player.

Here is the top 5 ranking after the Fortnite finals:

  • TT9 Chico (231 points)
  • CN messie goat (194 points)
  • Dz1da (187 points)
  • CN Drda (182 points)
  • Queasy (180 points)

It wasn’t just that TT9 Chico won the tournament, but he also had the most kills in the whole tournament with 26 eliminations. Another big achievement “the most kills in a single game” went into the hands of T3eny (14 kills), who unfortunately didn’t make it to the top 5. Maybe the biggest surprise of the tournament was Trulex. This player is one of the best Fortnite players in both the region and worldwide, but he didn’t show his usual performance.

In the end, in spite of this godlike competition, TT9 Chico managed to get 26 eliminations in the whole tournament, gather as many as 231 points, and take home the trophy and the right to call himself the best.

A1 Student eChallenge: Fun and Growth in Gaming

A1 Hrvatska has created a completely new format of esports competition, the “A1 Student eChallenge” league, in collaboration with the leading technical faculties in Croatia: the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER), Algebra University College, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (PMF), and the Zagreb Technical College (TVZ). For the first time, A1 Hrvatska, in partnership with these faculties, offers students a special gaming experience, as well as the opportunity to participate in the organization and administration of this exciting esports tournament.

A1 Student eChallenge to feature CS:GO and FIFA

To support and highlight the importance of the gaming industry and personal development and education of young people, A1 Hrvatska has provided an unforgettable gaming experience for students and passionate video game enthusiasts of CS:GO and FIFA. However, this time, in addition to the role of a gamer, all interested parties can also take on organizational roles behind the gaming screens.

All participants in the A1 Student eChallenge can expect an unforgettable experience in the magical world of esports, which will culminate in the grand finals from 9th to 11th June at the Zagreb Fair, during the 11th season of the A1 Adria League as part of the Reboot Games Weekend powered by A1. There, the best among them will demonstrate their skills on a stage worthy of global gaming stars and compete for a share of the overall prize pool valued at over 1,500 euros.

“As announced, with the qualifications for the finals of the eleventh season of the A1 Adria League, we have entered a completely new and exciting chapter that has brought us an interesting format of the A1 Student eChallenge esports league. We are pleased that we have established collaborations with the leading technical faculties and provided young people with an opportunity to participate in the project to familiarize themselves with all the roles in front and behind the gaming screens. Once again, we have confirmed that we recognize the value of investing in those who show interest in the esports field. Also, we continue our long-standing partnership with Reboot, and we are glad to walk together through the incredible gaming adventures ahead of us,” said Iva Ančić, Head of Brand, Marketing Communications and Digital Business, A1 Hrvatska.

A1 Student eChallenge 1

As a telecom provider that offers a gaming experience with the lowest latency on an optical network, A1 Hrvatska announced the eleventh season of the longest-running regional A1 Adria League this spring, which brings together a large community of gamers with a zero-tolerance policy for hate speech.

During April and May, passionate esports players have the opportunity to show off their best gaming skills in three “main” video games – CS:GO, Rainbow Six Siege, and FIFA-23, as well as in five tournaments already played in games such as PUBG, League of Legends, Fortnite, Trackmania, and Valorant. What awaits them in the finals will remain a secret until the very end, which will delight the best among them with the largest prize pool ever, amounting to 16,800 euros for the winners.

The winners of the 3rd CS:GO qualifier are Glory4 and JESTE!

On April 23rd the third CS:GO qualifier brought us two more teams who, with their excellent performance, advanced to the group stage of the 11th season in the A1 Adria League. So far teams who have secured spots in the league are Zero Tenacity, Infernus, Confusee, and team-one. Two more teams joined them yesterday, after besting the competition, Glory4 and team JESTE.

Juric led Glory4 to victory

What to say, except that once again the battle in the CS:GO tournament was more exciting than ever. This time 43 teams were competing in the third qualifier, but only two could go further. Those two were Glory4, the absolute favorite of this qualifier, and team JESTE. Why was Glory4 such a favorite you may wonder? Well, considering their monstrous roster, the answer is simple. Led by Mladen Juric from Relog Media, Glory4 didn’t just win the qualifier, they demolished the competition. Well-known names such as andr1xx, sarenii, and c0llins showed the region they are here to win the trophy.

On their way to the decider match, Glory4 took down good teams, such as KlanRUR, making it then to the bo3 duel against SRBIJETINA. The games were played on Anubis and Ancient, and the scores were 16:11, and 16:10 in favor of Glory4, which secured their spot in groups.

On the other side of the bracket, JESTE was the most successful, battling ODZADZARI in their decider match. There the fight was much closer, and the series ended with a 2:1 score in favor of JESTE. The first map, Mirage went into overtime, showing how close their duel is gonna be. JESTE took the win there with 19:16, while their opponents were victorious on Ancient with a similar score in overtime at 19:17. The situation on Inferno, the last map, was less tense, as team JESTE defeated their opponents with a 16:10 result.

Only two spots in the group stage are vacant at the moment. The last qualifier will be played on April 29th. Don’t miss the chance to fight against the best in the region and the A1 Adria League. Sign up HERE!

Eight R6 teams are ready for the A1AL group stage!

All four R6 Siege qualifiers have ended, and the best eight teams have advanced further. The last ones that were the most successful in the 4th qualifier in the A1 Adria League are Team For Adria, Otpisani, and MIPSRBIJA.

Norm Tips disqualified

Qualifiers have ended and the group stage in R6 Siege is coming sooner than you think. On April 29th, which is next Saturday, the Siegers are returning with more action. Eight teams will be divided into two groups of four, where the top two teams from each group will advance to finals.

The last R6 qualifier for the A1 Adria League brought together 5 teams, but due to the disqualification of the Norm Tips team, due to problems during team registration, one more place in the league became available and the fourth qualifier enabled the entry of one additional team. This is why three teams from the last qualifier made it to the group stage. Norm Tips on the other hand didn’t follow the rules dictating that every team must have three regional players, which is why they won’t be competing in the league.

Here are the best eight R6 teams

The first BO1 match was between the team Team For Adria and AshMain. That game without problems went in favor of the team “Team For Adria” with a score of 7-1 at ClubHouse. Freq, who is part of the professional team TT9, stood out as the best player on that map with 13 frags.

After that, the decider matches were played between teams Firma ILLegale and Team For Adria, and MIPSRBIJA who took on Otpisani. In the first duel, the win went into the hands of Team For Adria which was expected. Freq was carrying again, showing dominating performance with 32 frags in 16 rounds. Kafe and Border with scores of 7-1 sent Firma ILLegale to the decider match for the third, last place in the league.

The duel between “MIPSRBIJA” and “Otpisani” started on Skyscraper, where the Otpisani took a 7-0 victory and relaxedly entered the second map, Border, where they secured a place in the league with a score of 7-3.

The match for the last place in the R6 groups was a bloody one. On Border, MIPSRBIJA took the win against Firma ILLegale with 8-6, while on ClubHouse the winning result was 7-5, again in the favor of BosanacAbuser and his team.

The top eight:

  • 5 Big guys
  • Homies in Paris
  • EU45th Gremlins
  • Bob the Builder
  • DamjanBotFrag
  • Team For Adria
  • Otpisani
  • MIPSRBIJA

Tin Škrgatić defeats Novo for 100 points in the 3rd FIFA qualifier!

The third FIFA23 qualifier in the A1 Adria League brought us the third different winner of 100 points and the bracket finals. So far Hara and Jakela both won one qualifier each and earned themselves 100 points and basically secured their spot in the group stage. On April 21st Tin “CLA_TH3Prod1gy” Škrgatić did the same.

Tin enters the top 3

Slow and steady we are getting closer to the start of the FIFA23 group stage in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League. Only one qualifier remains and judging by the points, some players are already securing their spots in the league. In the third qualifier, the best player was Tin “CLA_TH3Prod1gy” Škrgatić who defeated some well-known names in the regional A1AL. The first to fall under him was the winner of the first qualifier Harun “Hara” Parla, who was defeated in the second round. After Parla, he easily made his way to the finals where he battled with Tarik Novo, and successfully defeated the four-time champion of the league. With this performance, Tin reached the top three on the scoreboard, and his future in the A1 Adria League this season is looking bright.

On the other side, Tarik Novo also had a successful performance in this qualifier. He scored 70 points, as a runner-up, and now with 90 points overall is also in contention for a place in the group stage. Another name worth mentioning is Esad1memic who in two qualifiers secured third place, gathering 100 points overall (50+50). Hara and Jakela hold the first two places with 170, and 120 points respectively. In the top eight at this moment is the current FIFA champion Gruby. The youngster has 70 points, which he won in the first qualifier. Things are not looking good for last season’s runner-up Brstimir who only has 30 points, and needs to give his best in the last qualifier if he wants to advance further.

The last chance to earn points in FIFA23 qualifiers, players will have on April 28th. Sign up for that qualifier HERE!

Razii is the first Trackmania champion in A1AL!

Another one of our mini-tournaments has come to an end. This is the first season in the A1 Adria League where we had a tournament in Trackmania. Both the qualifier and the finals were entertaining for watching, and in the end, the champion was crowned. The fastest player who took home the title and a 300€ prize was Robert “Razii” Cupkovic.

Razii justified the role of favorite

Out of the 40 registered players, only the fastest eight got the chance to play in the Trackmania finals which were held on April 20th. The players played TIME ATTACK mode, and the best eight who advanced in the finals were Razii, Tekky, Ixxonn, and Vikich from Croatia, Biocanin2 and Sundj3rBob from Serbia, Sensei_Ali from Slovenia and Sixty9Pixels from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The fastest players from the qualifiers were divided into two groups of four players each. The two fastest players from both groups made it to the grand final. The title of the first Trackmania regional champion was taken by Robert “Razii” Cupkovic, who justified his role as the favorite. And after good placements on the world stage, he officially took home the title of the best in his region too. In the final, the casters compared him to a robot, who drove the well-trained tracks without mistakes and under the pressure of the “cameras”.

The 2nd place was won by Ennio “Tekky” Komljenovic. Tekky drove without a mistake in his semi-final group and took the maximum number of points on each track. In the grand final however Razii still had more concentration, so Tekky had to settle for silver.

Maybe not his speed, but consistency and readiness on all tracks led Milos “Biocanin” Biočanin to third place. He says that he has only been playing Trackmania for 2 years, which is significantly less than the players who were ahead of him in the ranking. This tells us that if he continues at this pace, Tekky and Razii will also have to invest additional time in training in order to stay ahead of this driver.

Confusee and team-one make it to the CS:GO group stage!

Two CS:GO qualifiers are already finished, where the four teams secured the group stage in the 11th A1 Adria League season. We saw 47 teams competing for their spot in the next stage, while only two best reached their goal. Teams Confusee and team-one bested their competition and joined the winners of the 1st qualifier Zero Tenacity and Infernus.

Confusee enters the league with a comeback

One more week has passed, and one more qualifier in the CS:GO competition has been played. This week, on April 16th, two more teams made it to the group stage of A1AL, Confusee, and team-one. Needless to say, the competition was fierce, considering we had almost 50 registered teams. We also saw a couple of familiar names, such as Blink. Gulito and his team didn’t make it far, they were eliminated in the second round.

However, the ones that did make it into the top four and the decider matches were Confusee who was battling team MYE, and team-one and their opponents ZIEKIPA. The first battle between Confusee and MYE was an absolute banger. MYE took the first game on Inferno with a dominating win with a 16:4 score. Bob was a force to be reckoned with on mid with his AWP, and his performance led his team to victory. Unfortunately, their success didn’t last long. At the beginning of the second map, Confusee takes the steering wheel in their hands and dominates their opponents. The score on Mirage was 16:10, while the situation on the third and deciding map was really close. Both teams gave their best on Ancient, but when Confusee took the CT side, they won eight rounds in a row, cementing their win, and making it to the group stage.

On the other side of the bracket, the match between team-one and ZIEKIPA was finished after just one map. 16:7 on Anubis, and a forfeit on the second map brought team-one their spot in the groups.

The third qualifier is scheduled for April 23rd. Sign up for it HERE!

R6 teams Bob the Builder and DamjanBotFrag join the league!

The third Rainbow Six Siege qualifier brought us two more teams in the group stage of the 11th season of the A1 Adria League. So far, four teams secured the spot in the group stage, NORM TIPS, 5 Big Guys, Homies in Paris, and EU45th Gremlins. The ones that joined them on April 15th are Bob the Builder and DamjanBotFrag.

Only one qualifier and two spots left

The third Rainbow Six Siege qualifier had, like the previous one, slightly fewer teams than the first one. In the third, we saw only five registered teams, who wanted to compete for the spot in the regional league.

Due to the generation of the bracket, the teams BobTheBuilder, ImalTanje, and DamjanBotFrag immediately got a pass to the decider matches, while bottomG Esports and HelmofAwe were supposed to play their best-of-one match on the ClubHouse map, where BottomG easily defeated their opponents with a score of 7:1.

The first decider match took place on the stream between teams Bob The Builder and bottomG Esports. The first map was again ClubHouse where bottomG hoped to repeat the result of the previous match, but Bob the Builder gave them a nasty surprise with a score of 7:2. On the second map, Bob The Builder went to Chalet for another win, this time with a 7:1 score that secured their entry into the regional league. Turkish-Hungarian duo Swisswga and broky collected 39 frags together in 17 rounds played.

The second match was supposed to take place between the ImalTanje and DamjanBotFrag teams, but the ImalTanje team did not gather and DamjanBotFrag will join the league without firing a single shot. We remember this team under the name “NotReady” from the first qualifier where the bottomG esports team kicked them out.

The fourth and last qualifier for Rainbow Six Siege in A1AL will be played next week, April 22nd. This is the last chance to enter the league, so don’t miss it and sign up for the qualifier HERE!
