This week in A1AL: Round 4 starts; League of Legends goes regional!

This week in A1 Adria League we will see the fourth rounds of Brawl Stars, FIFA21 and CS:GO while League of Legends will enter its Regional Playoffs stage!

Brawl Stars

Our regional Brawlers have had an amazing season so far. The third round was done in one playday, so last week we didn’t have any Brawl Stars action. The plan remains the same for the fourth round – all three matches of the round will be played this Thursday, while next week we will be taking another break from the arenas. Tora Gold and 09 Gang are the teams from the 2-1 and 1-2 pools, respectively, that will be clashing this time in the fourth round. Besides that match, we have one 2-1 match between Mayoi and Noble Elite Red and one 1-2 duel between Omerta and Lil Surprise.

FIFA21

Round 4 of FIFA will commence with a duel between Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi and Filip “FIFAFICO” Babić – two players that are now a part of the 2-1 pool and are fighting for a spot in the playoffs. When the winner of this match gets decided, we will watch one more match, but this time it will be a survival match. Esad “NKOS_esad1memic” Memić will take on Emir “Sulja” Suljović for a chance to stay in the League. While NKOS_esad1memic has the role of a favorite, Sulja has proven time and time again that he can upset the biggest names in the region.

CS:GO

Last Sunday, ONYX managed to qualify for the playoffs over 4glory who fell short of a win for the first time this season. 4glory will have a chance to fix their mistake this week when they are facing PORTUGAL in the 2-1 bracket. Besides this duel that is sure to raise some eyebrows, we will watch Cobalt Esports take on Onlinerss in the second duel of the day. While the winner of this second match will survive for the fifth round, the losing side will have to say its goodbyes to the League and join Fullshock as one of the eliminated teams.

League of Legends

Over the last couple of weeks, the League of Legends teams from Serbia, Macedonia, and Croatia have been playing in their respective National Playoffs stage to advance further in the League. Now, that the National Playoffs stage came to an end, the Regional Playoffs phase of this season’s LoL action can start. The bracket is already known and we have the four pairs that will start this double-elimination journey to the top. Harmony is taking on Fantastic Esports, Brotagonists1g will fight Mental Boomers and QSKE Gaming will have Fiko Izdaja as their opponent. The fourth match will see Split Raiders face Placeholder for a spot in the upper bracket semifinals.

ONYX qualify for this season’s CS:GO playoffs!

The end of the third round for CS:GO saw the reigning champions earn their spot in the playoffs in the derby versus 4glory.

Two matches marked the end of yet another CS:GO round in which we got our first qualified side. ONYX have been dealing with internal problems and recently did massive changes to their roster, but the squad managed to win their match against 4glory even with their old team. Vladyslav “bondik” Nechyporchuk and Dmitriy “jR” Chervak – two experienced veterans joined the team’s lineup today as a change to an international team was announced. As far as the match goes, it went  to three maps – 4glory got Inferno and ONYX responded with two wins on Train and Mirage, respectively.

Match two ended a bit quicker than the first one as only two maps were played out. Cobalt Esports and Good Game were a part of the 1-1 pool before the third round. While it wasn’t a decider match, this result managed to shape the incoming rounds in a different way. Namely, Good Game, who were considered favorites by most won the match after only two rounds and locked in their second victory in the seventh A1 Adria League season. Cobalt Esports, on the other side, now reside in the 1-2 pool together with Onlinerss and Midnight.

League of Legends enters its Regional Playoffs stage!

With this League of Legends day concluding, we now know the names of the eight teams that managed to qualify for the next stage of the A1 Adria League.

Croatia

Three Croatian teams will continue their journey to the Regional Playoffs. Split Raiders advanced through the National Playoffs stage undefeated and beat Fantastic Esports 2-0 in the Grand Finals after Fantastic forfeited their previous duel. Before the final match started, Fiko Izdaja was defeated by Fantastic, but since they already won their fair share of matches, they will also play in the next stage.

Serbia

An action-packed BO3 in the Serbian finals saw QSKE Gaming outplay Mental Boomers and secure the first place in this National Playoff. Just like Split Raiders in Croatia, QSKE didn’t suffer a single loss on their way to the Regional Playoffs. Mental Boomers, on the other hand, fough through the lower bracket and defeated Placeholder in the LB finals.

Just like Croatia, Serbia will also boast three teams in the next stage – QSKE Gaming, Mental Boomers, and Placeholder.

Macedonia

The remaining two teams that will join the Regional Playoffs come from the Macedonian group. They are Harmony and Brotagonists1g – two squads that showed their quality since the very beginning of the double-elimination bracket. With these two additions, the team list is completed.

FIFAFICO goes 2-1; klaic out of the League!

The third FIFA21 round of the season concludes with a victory by Filip “FIFAFICO” Babić, and a sour loss that sees Marko “klaic” Klaić leave the A1 Adria League.

After Brawl Stars’s third round ended the previous week, we started this A1 Adria League week with our second scheduled game, FIFA21. This playday of FIFA started with a short duel between FIFAFICO and Emir “Sulja” Suljović. It was short because Sulja surrendered the series at the beginning of the second match – he was already five goals behind (1:6), and he didn’t think that his abilities would be able to match FIFAFICO today.

While the first series ended after less than two matches, the second game of the day went to all three. Firstly, Armin “arminho0307” Hasanbegović squeezed past klaic with a 1-0 win. Match 2 came along and klaic decided to win his place in the third match. He got 2 goals in arminho’s net and entered the third match confidently. However, arminho had other plans and eliminated klaic in the final game of the day.

We already have the first known playoffs player, and it will be getting tougher than this after every match. Don’t forget to watch the FIFA21 streams every Friday, and in the meantime, check out today’s stream:

This week in A1AL: Three titles are a step away from the next stage!

While Brawl Stars is done for the round, the remaining two titles in the SWISS round still have another playday to go before reaching Round 4 of this season’s group stage. League of Legends is a step away from the Regional Playoffs!

CS:GO

The second part of the third round will see the currently unbeaten teams, 4glory and ONYX, clash it out to see who will finish the group stage with a flawless 3-0 score. The reigning champions are facing difficulties as they recently parted ways with two key players in their roster, Filip “aVN” Belojica, and Petar “HOLMES” Dimitrijević. aVN proceeded to join his former rivals, 4glory, and HOLMES’s next step is still uncertain. Their match starts at 16h, this Sunday.

When the 2-0 duel comes to an end, it will be time for Good Game and Cobalt Esports to enter the server. Both teams suffered one loss and this round will change much in their approach to the League. The winner will be just one win away from the playoffs, while the losing side won’t get another chance if they lose again. The Macedonian squad is facing Lazar “Laza” Nikolić’s team at either 18 or 19 o’clock, depending on the length of the previous match.

CS:GO SWISS 3-2

FIFA21

While we will be skipping Brawl Stars this week because of all the matches being played last Thursday, FIFA21 will continue as usual with two derbies on the schedule. Firstly, Filip “FIFAFICO” Babić and Emir “Sulja” Suljović are going to play their match on the virtual stadiums of FIFA, and the better player will be put in the 2-1 bracket with Tarik “amke2001” Novo and Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi.

Armin “arminho0307” Hasanbegović will fight for his chance to stay in the League this week. His opponent will be Marko “klaic” Klaić, who is yet another player who hasn’t celebrated a win yet in this season of the league. While the winner will celebrate his survival in the League, the player who will fail to triumph in the match will have to leave the seventh A1 Adria League season.

FIFA SWISS 3-2

League of Legends

The National Playoffs stage for League of Legends is coming to an end this Saturday, as the teams are close to finishing their respective brackets. Macedonia, Serbia, and Croatia will all have their teams in the upcoming Regional Playoffs stage.  In the Macedonian bracket, Harmony is the leading team, while Brotagonists1g and Reborn Esports will meet in the lower bracket finals. QSKE, Placeholder and Mental Boomers are the three Serbian teams still in play, while in Croatia, Split Raiders, Fantastic Esports and Fiko Izdaja are leading the charge.

League of Legends moves closer to the Regional Playoffs!

The three countries participating in this stage of the League of Legends A1 Adria League continue playing their brackets in the National Playoffs stage.

Croatia

Fiko Izdaja had a great second League of Legends playday in the Croatian playoffs. They eliminated not one, but two teams in the lower part of the bracket and secured themselves a spot in the lower bracket finals against Fantastic Esports. The teams that they eliminated were RainDrop (2-1) and BL Gaming (2-0). Meanwhile, Split Raiders are currently waiting in the Grand Finals and their great form isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Macedonia

Two matches marked the end of the second playday for Macedonia as well. FunTeam and Cult were the first ones to clash, with the former taking the win without losing a single round. After Cult, Brotagonists1g were ready to eliminate their Macedonian rivals but failed to succeed in their task. Instead, FunTeam got another 2:0 win, putting them in the lower bracket finals against Reborn Esports.

Serbia

Serbia had a much more active playday than the rest of the countries. A total of four matches saw interesting changes in the bracket for all the teams participating and QSKE is currently having the best chances of entering the playoffs. Mental Boomers had the best success after QSKE, as they won two matches – one against SuppDiff (2-1) and one against OnlyFans (2-0). Currently, Placeholder and Mental Boomers are scheduled to play in the lower bracket finals for next week.

brstimir with a flawless 3-0 SWISS stage!

Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Leon “Sardinho213” Šardi earned new wins in today’s half of the third FIFA SWISS round for the season!

brstimir’s win against amke2001 allowed him to enter the A1 Adria League playoffs with a perfect 3-0 score. The Bosnian player tried his best versus the Serbian veteran, but the match simply wasn’t going his way. brstimir scored a total of eight goals, while Tarik “amke2001” Novo ended the series with five which put him in the 2-1 pool of the rankings.

The second match saw Sardinho213 take on Esad “NKOS_esad1memic” Memić who was looking forward to getting his second win in this round. Despite the previous match being full of goals, this time, only four balls went behind the goalkeepers’ back. Three of those were in favor of Sardinho, while the Bosnian player only scored one.

Noble Elite BLK qualify for the A1 Adria League playoffs!

Due to QSKE being disqualified, the third SWISS round of Brawl Stars was completed in only one day with Noble Elite BLK being the team that ended the group stage with a flawless score.

Noble Elite BLK and Mayoi were the teams that played out the first two rounds of the SWISS without taking a single L. However, that had to change in Round 3 as the two of them were paired against each other. Just as we expected from teams of their calibre, the match was played set by set and the winner was uncertain until the very end. Noble Elite BLK managed to squeeze past with a 3-2 win and become the first playoff team for this season.

Right after we declared Noble Elite BLK as the winner, Omerta and Tora Gold continued the third round. This one was also a fierce fight between the two talented squads, and just like the previous match, it ended with a 3-2 score – this time in favour of Tora Gold. This win takes Tora Gold to the 2-1 pool which is already occupied by Mayoi and in the meantime, Omerta will have to fight back from 1-2.

The disqualification of QSKE Gaming meant that Round 3 would have only three matches. Noble Elite Red and Lil Surprise closed out the Brawl Stars night with another great match. Lil Surprise were clearly not in form tonight and they certainly couldn’t stand up to Noble Elite Red who played fantastic today. Noble Elite Red were able to win the game 3-0 and bring themselves a step closer to joining Noble Elite BLK in the playoffs.

This week in A1AL: The break is over; it’s game time!

After we all took a week to relax and enjoy the holidays, it is time to begin the third SWISS round for Brawl Stars, CS:GO and FIFA21. League of Legends, in the meantime, is close to finishing the National Playoffs stage.

Brawl Stars

The beginning of the third round means that we will know the first playoffs participants when the round comes to an end. Currently, Noble Elite BLK and Mayoi are leading the standings, but their 2-0 duel will be played out in the second part of the round. This week, we will only be watching Omerta take on Tora Gold in hopes of reaching the 2-1 pool.

There should have been a second match played as well, but since QSKE Gaming were recently disqualified from the tournament, 09 Gang will get a default win in this round.

FIFA21

Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Tarik “amke2001” Novo will fight for the first spot in this season’s FIFA playoffs. Amke2001 successfully beat esad1memic in the second round despite the match being a nail-bitter until the very end. brstimir had an easier time with FIFAFICO, but this time, amke2001 is ready to put up a great fight against his opponent and make this match exciting until the last minute.

After these guys play it out, Sardinho213 and NKOS_esad1memic are next in line to show their abilities to the regional audience. The Season 5 player is looking to get back on track after suffering a loss to amke2001, and he will face Sardinho213 who is in form after winning versus arminho0307.

CS:GO

Midnight, PORTUGAL, Onlinerss, and Fullshock – four teams that will make the return of CS:GO after the pause. Midnight recently got a hard-fought victory against Onlinerss, and next week, they will have another hard challenge on their way to the playoffs – PORTUGAL.

Onlinerss and Fullshock haven’t had the best start of the season, and unfortunately, one of them will be leaving us after the third round concludes. The 0-2 match between these two teams will be played right after the previous’ match winner is declared.

CS:GO SWISS 3-1

League of Legends

League of Legends will continue its National Playoffs stage this Saturday. Reborn Esports and Harmony are currently the two Macedonian teams in the upper bracket. QSKE and Placeholder hold these two spots in the Serbian qualifiers, with two matches ready to be played out in the lower bracket before advancing further in the Playoffs. Last, but certainly not least, Split Raiders and Fantastic Esports will meet in the Croatian upper bracket final. BL Gaming are already in the third lower bracket round, and they are waiting from the winner of the duel between Fiko Izdaja and RainDrop.

This week in A1AL: No matches, enjoy the holidays!

Simple as that! In the previous week, we have received more than a few requests for teams asking to reschedule their matches due to either family holidays, FPL-C qualifiers, competitive tournaments and due to a large volume of proposals, of course – we had to approve them!

So, to cut things short, this week you won’t be able to enjoy the finest regional esports action and all matches will be postponed for next week. Whether you celebrate holidays or play games, use this opportunity to enjoy your time to the fullest and we’ll see you next week!

Stay safe and enjoy the holidays!
