Zero Tenacity and Infernus were successful in the first CS:GO qualifier!

The main game in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League and the tournament with a giant prize pool has started. On Sunday, April 9th more than 40 teams participated and competed for their spot in the group stage of the CS:GO competition. In the first qualifier, the winners were Zero Tenacity, last season’s champions, and Infernus NXT. They secured their spot in the next stage and are now awaiting their opponents.

Zero Tenacity on their way to defend the title

In the middle of November last year we crowned the CS:GO champions for the jubilee 10th season of the A1 Adria League, Zero Tenacity. And yet, they are already slowly making their way into the competition, for a chance at another title. Out of 42 teams, Zero Tenacity, alongside Infernus, was the best team in the qualifier. They swiped their opponents through the bracket and made their way to the decider best-of-three series where they took down Klan Rur. Nemanha and his team achieved wins on Anubis and Overpass. On Anubis their victory was as dominating as it can be, winning this map with only 2 lost rounds (16:2). On Overpass they were a force to be reckoned with as well, but the enemy got slightly more rounds in their pocket. That second map ended with a 16:6 score.

On the other side of the bracket, the best team was Infernus NXT. The team led by NEBO in the decider bo3 match defeated DopaminersGG. The first map was Inferno and it was a really close one, as we saw the match go into overtime, but in the end, Infernus was successful on Inferno with a 28:26 score. The next game was a lot easier and there Infernus won with a 16:5 on Anubis.

There are eight spots overall in the group stage, and two are already filled. More chances are offered in the three remained qualifiers. The second qualifier for CS:GO is scheduled for next week, April 16th. You can sign up for it HERE!

Oto100 upsets Z10 and advances to playoff!

Another exciting day for CS:GO fans. After intense three maps, we have gotten yet another team that secures their spot in the playoff stage in A1 Adria League. Oto100 joins BLUEJAYS and Blink as the third team in the top 4.

Underdog Oto100 surprised

Last night only one match was played, but it was a biggie. The best-of-three duel between Oto100 and Zero Tenacity went into the hands of the former team who now secured the next stage in the league. Both teams had the same score before this duel, 2:1. This match meant the winner will go to join BLUEJAYS and Blink who already secured the playoff. In the end, Oto100 surprised everyone with their extraordinary performance and with a 2:1 score is now safe in the top 4.

Even though the first map, Inferno, went into the hands of Zero Tenacity, they lost the next two. In the first map for Z10 the best player was Katalić who had 25 frags and carried his team. However he lost focus and underperformed in the last two maps, and it lead to his team losing the match.

On the second map Mirage, we have seen a big comeback from Oto100. Z10 started good on this map and had a big lead, but their opponent managed to come back and the game went into overtime. There Oto100 came on top with Xicoz as the best player. The deciding game was played on Nuke and it was a clear win for Oto100. Z10 totally failed on the third map and eventually Oto with the 16:10 score won the series.

Zero Tenacity has one more chance to secure the playoffs, but it will be a hard task seeing their opponent will be 4glory. This matchup is the last of the group stage, and only one team can move forward!

GhoulsW eliminated from A1AL; Zero Tenacity demolished 4glory

The second part of the third round in CS:GO group stage of the A1 Adria League is finished. Last night’s matches decided who is the first team that we are saying goodbye to. GhoulsW didn’t manage to win against their opponents, and this is where their journey for this season ends.

GhoulsW was eliminated by Monad eSport

Last week in the first part of this round we have seen one team advance to the playoffs. It was BLUEJAYS who with a perfect 3:0 score secured the first spot in CS:GO playoffs in A1 Adria League. This time, however, the Bo3 matchup was for staying in the league. GhoulsW and Monad eSport fought for another chance to improve their score. Before this duel, both teams had a 0:2 score, and this match was decided to see who will stay in our league. Monad didn’t let their opponent breathe, and they didn’t even let it go to three maps. They secured their wins on Vertigo and Mirage, as well as their first win in the league. Mirage was a close one with a 16:13 result, while on Vertigo Monad dominated and won it with only three lost rounds. This is the third loss for ghoulsW and they are eliminated from the league with a 0:3 score.

The other match of the day was Bo1 and it was played between Zero Tenacity and 4glory. Both teams had a 1:1 score before this duel, and the team that put themselves in a great position with a win yesterday was Z10. They stomped their opponent on Mirage, while 4glory was practically invisible. Even though the score was 16:9 the superiority of Zero Tenacity was clear as the day. Nemanha was the best man on the squad with 24 frags.

Zero Tenacity and ghoulsW made it to the group stage!

All the qualifiers for CS:GO are completed, and there are no more chances to secure the group stage in this season’s A1 Adria League. The third qualifier was a swift one, compared to the others. We have seen more than 20 teams fight for the remaining two spots in the league and the teams that came on top were Zero Tenacity and ghoulsW.

Z10 and ghoulsW secured the last two spots

After two qualifiers Zero Tenacity and ghoulsW failed to qualify for the group stage. It was clear that the battle will be fierce today seeing there was only one chance and two spots left. Both these teams were close in the previous qualifiers but there was always something missing. Today they have finally secured their spots and it was deserved. In the top side of the bracket, it was Zero Tenacity who dominated, not losing a single game today. This team came into today’s qualifier with a new signing, it was Katalic who helped the team enter the league.

GhoulsW did the same on the other side of the bracket. They managed to beat many great teams, and one of them was MONAD eSports which in the end didn’t make the cut. Another well-known team, that wasn’t good enough to qualify was Marten Rising. They were eliminated in the second round.

There were three CS:GO qualifiers overall, and one by one the eight spots in the group stage of A1AL got filled. First to secure this was BLINK and XTEAM who beat everyone in the first qualifier. The second qualifier went into the hands of Strive in chaos and bitboxks or Oto100. Including the two invited teams 4glory and BLUEJAYS and the winners from today, we have the top eight who will enter and compete in our A1 Adria League for the title and the prize, as well as the right to call themselves the best regional CS:GO team.

The SWISS group stage starts on May 8th. The best four teams from this stage will advance to the finals, while we will say goodbye to the other half.
