The League of Legends tournament of the seventh season of the A1 Student eChallenge delivered exactly what fans hoped for – chaotic drafts, huge individual performances, unexpected picks, and complete stomps. Across three playoff days, teams battled through the double-elimination bracket, but one roster clearly stood above the rest.
In the end, Svijet Voli Pobjednike completed a dominant playoff run and secured the championship after defeating Kjuti Patutis 3-0 in the grand final. From jopazg’s stacked Smolder horror experience to TØJARA’s unstoppable Varus top, SVP looked untouchable throughout the entire final day.
Recap: Double Elimination Day #1
The opening day of playoffs featured the first upper bracket matches, beginning with UNIRI facing Svijet Voli Pobjednike. From the very start, SVP completely controlled the pace of the series. Strong pressure around mid and bot lane, combined with aggressive jungle rotations, quickly snowballed the game out of UNIRI’s control.
One of the standout picks was support Elise, who constantly created action across the map, while Tojara’s Anivia dominated the top lane matchup and forced multiple defensive rotations from UNIRI. Although UNIRI managed to pick up a few shutdowns before Baron, SVP never truly lost control and comfortably closed out the series 2:0.
The second match between Jahači Plavih Divljih Konja and Kjuti Patutis initially looked far more competitive. JPDK found an early advantage through Lee Sin and strong drake control, but everything changed during a crucial fight around the third dragon. KPT secured a massive turnaround teamfight, stole the drake, wiped four players, and completely flipped the momentum of the game.
From that point onward, Kjuti Patutis controlled every important fight and closed out the series 2:0, securing their place deeper in the upper bracket.
Recap: Double Elimination Day #2
The second day of playoffs featured lower bracket action alongside another dominant performance from SVP.
In the elimination series between Jahači Divljih Plavih Konja and UNIRI, Govnael once again tried to carry UNIRI back into the tournament with impressive performances on K’Sante and Jax. However, JDPK consistently found ways to isolate him during crucial fights and maintained stronger overall coordination throughout both games. After securing Baron control in the second game, JDPK closed out the series 2:0 and eliminated UNIRI from the tournament.
The second scheduled match between Kjuti Patutis and Svijet Voli Pobjednike never truly happened, as SVP advanced after KPT forfeited the series. That result immediately locked SVP into the grand final and gave them extra preparation time heading into the final day.
SVP completely take over the finals
The final day began with SVP facing Jahači DPK, and from the very first game it became clear that the favourites had arrived in top form. Sikter’s Nocturne completely took over the Rift, finishing the opening game with an absurd 11/1/7 scoreline in just 20 minutes. Combined with Orianna and dominant teamfighting, SVP built a 16k gold lead before quickly ending the game.
The second game followed a similar pattern. Jahači attempted several unusual draft ideas, including Cassiopeia first pick and multiple flex picks, but SVP punished every mistake. Danilo’s signature Olaf and the team’s comfort picks completely overwhelmed the opposition, ending the series in another one-sided stomp.
The grand final against Kjuti Patutis brought slightly more resistance, especially in the third game where KPT managed to build an early gold lead and even threatened Soul point. However, SVP once again proved why they were the strongest team in the tournament. Better mechanics, stronger teamfighting, and excellent late-game fundamentals allowed them to regain control of the map.
Even after a dramatic Malphite jungle drake steal, SVP never lost composure. Once Smolder reached full scaling, the outcome became inevitable. After securing Elder Dragon, SVP marched down the Rift and officially crowned themselves the first-ever A1SeC League of Legends champions.
