Who is going to LAN in Zagreb? Find out in the new A1AL recap
There is almost no time left to secure a spot in the playoffs, earn a ticket to the Reboot InfoGamer event, and attend the LAN and the finish of the 12th A1 Adria League season in Zagreb this month. Read on to learn who secured their spot and who has one last chance to do so.
Suh12 secured the semifinals in EA FC Mobile
Suh12, a guy from Croatia, showed a unique desire to prove himself in front of his audience in Zagreb, and that’s how he played a decisive match with Kayozz. He won the duel against the Bosnian player with 2:0.
The favorite of the match, Ivand, had the opportunity to beat Lazar, knock him out of the competition, and secure a place in the semi-finals, but the opposite happened, it was 2:1 in the end in favor of Lazar. Now both are at 2:2 in overall aggregate.
Nerko returns from 0:2 to 2:2 after another masterful game. He won against Tocc with a 2:0 victory, and it is the biggest comeback of this Swiss stage so far.
Marac and Fico join Novo in the top 4 in EA FC 24
In this round of the EA FC 24 Swiss Stage three members of the CLA organization successfully defeated their opponents and two of them even secured a spot in the playoffs.
The first match of the day was played between CLA TH3Prod1gy or Skrga and a rookie OlleDobrinho from Serbia. It was a direct fight for survival in the competition and at the same time for a step closer to the TOP 4. We have only been watching Skrga on the streams since last season, but a little more experience was enough compared to Dobrinjo. This is his debut season, but he showed that he was not in the top 8 by chance.
Second duel was played between a veteran of the A1AL brstimir and CLA Fico. This was a duel between players who have a score of 1-2 and 2-1, which meant that if Fico wins, he will ensure his place in the top 4, while we say goodbye to Brstimir for this season. That’s exactly what happened. This big derby went as expected in the third match, but Fico still found a way to be more patient and win the game in his favor.
The third and last match of this EA FC 24 Swiss Stage saw CLA Marac win against another rookie Nemanja. Marac, like Skrga, has been performing on the biggest stage in the region since last season, but he is in such form that he was considered a favorite for the top 4 from the very beginning of the season. With a duel against Nemanja, he ensured his place in the TOP 4. And Nemanja will seek his place in the LAN final next week in a direct duel against Skrga. Which will be the last match of the group stage in this game.
The Suspect and Zero Tenacity are going to LAN
The semifinals in the CS2 competition of the A1 Adria League was played last Sunday and we have two teams that will attend the LAN in Zagreb and fight for the top prize. As you know Z10 is the defending champion and therefore a big favorite, but we know The Suspect will put up a hell of a fight. Let’s see how the games of the current finalists went last weekend.
The first match was played between Partizan Esports and The Suspect. An excellent start for The Suspect on their map pick which was Anubis, but Partizan is fighting well and harming The Suspect’s economy. Caley showed a fantastic performance yet again as half-time ended with a 7:5 for Partizan. They go on to take the pistol round and the initiative in the second half. An excellent team game that even Caley could not stop, resulting in victory on the first map with 13:7. The Suspect took only 2 rounds on the T side.
On Ancient, which Partizan picked, things were even up until the second half. The first one ended with a 6:6 score. Strong performance for The Suspect in the second half. Partizan took only one round on the CT side and the game ended 13:7 in favor of The Suspect. This evened the overall score and we saw the decider map play out. On Vertigo it was a complete domination for The Suspect, and the game ended with a 13:3 score.
Jake Bube makes Z10 work for it
The second match of the day between Zero Tenacity and Jake Bube started on Mirage. Both teams showed extraordinary performance. Jake Bube took the first half on the wings of Jayzar with a 7:5 score. After that, the game didn’t get any easier. In the end, however Z10 prevailed and won with a 13:11 score.
On Vertigo Jake Bube demolished their opponents in the first half with a result 8:3. The defending champions woke up in the second half and let their opponent take only one round on T side. The second map ended in favor of Z10 with a 13:9 score and an amazing comeback.
