NORM TIPS and 5 Big guys first to secure groups in R6!

On Saturday, April 1st, the first Rainbow Six Siege qualifier in the A1 Adria League was played, and as a result, we already have two teams who made it to the group stage. The competition was fierce and we saw 10 teams competing for the spot in the next phase of R6 A1AL, but only two came on top. The best performance in the first qualifier had teams 5 Big guys and NORM TIPS.

Two spots are taken!

The winning teams 5 Big guys and NORM TIPS fought their way through different sides of a bracket. The team with Montenegrin core NORM TIPS played the deciding match against Homies in Paris. The best-of-three series ended favoring NORM TIPS, but the duel went to all three maps. On the first map, Oregon, the game went into overtime where NORM TIPS came on top with a final score of 8:6. Hates and HOTASF duo from Homies in Paris had 31 frags combined. In the following map (Theme Park) Homies got a well-deserved win with a 7:3 result, and this time the previously mentioned duo had 25 frags. Deciding game was played on ClubHouse where NORM TIPS showed a dominant performance and with a 7:0 secured their spot in the group stage.

On the other side of the bracket, the deciding bo3 match was played between BottomG esports and 5 Big guys. On Chalet, the first map, 5 Big guys took an easy win, with LazyBoy leading the scoreboard with 13 frags and ending the match on 7:1. Same thing happened on Bank, and 5 Big guys with the same result defeated their opponent and made it in the A1 Adria League.

After the first qualifier the most played maps were Chalet and ClubHouse, while the most banned characters were Osa and Thatcher on the attack and Mira and Kaid on the defense side.

The next qualifier for Rainbow Six Siege is played on next Saturday, April 8th. If you still haven’t signed up for it, don’t waste time, you can do it by clicking on the link below!

Zero Tenacity claims the CS:GO trophy!

Zero Tenacity managed to outplay the KTRL to become the champion of the tenth season of the A1 Adria League! The grand finals were played in Zagreb at Reboot Games Weekend in front of a live audience after a two-year pause due to the pandemic. Fans and viewers online got finals worthy of a tenth jubilee.

Strong performance on LAN secures the trophy for Zero Tenacity

The amazing best-of-five series started off on Nuke. The KTRL had a strong start on the T side and managed to close the half with an 8-7 loss, which is amazing for an attacking side on Nuke. They continued to play well on the CT side almost running away with the first map but Z10 had something to say about that. Miloš “dEE” Marčeta and co. got to the 14 rounds and then it was all Z10 until the end.

Z10 almost pulled another amazing comeback on Mirage after KTRL’s 11-4 lead on the half. This time the KTRL got to 15-5 result during their CT side but stopped again. It looked like they were going to lose another huge lead but this time they successfully closed the map with 16-13.

Inferno was another close encounter in which Miloš “dEE” Marčeta showed phenomenal individual performance but unfortunately for him and his team, it wasn’t enough. It was the first time in the series that Z10 had the lead after the first half. The 9-6 lead on the CT side was enough for them to close it out 16-12. It seemed like that was the breaking point in the series.

Dust 2 was the last map played and Z10 won by a landslide. It was like KTRL just disappeared from the server. The 11-4 on the T side was more than enough for Z10 to win the map and the grand finals in the next six rounds of the second half. Adin “brutomonster” Husić was a real monster on Dust2 finishing the map with a 2.08 HLTV rating, which helped him reach the best overall individual rating in the series as well.

Zero Tenacity A1AL S10 KTRL

Both teams know each other really well. Miloš “dEE” Marčeta and Filip “aVN” Belojica have won the A1 Adria League in seasons 4, 5, and 6, playing together. This time one had to be on the losing side and it ended up being dEE. For sure, he was more than happy that aVN won the finals if he couldn’t. With the CS:GO finals of the A1 Adria League Season 10 we are officially concluding this season. Well, not just yet. The competition is over for this year but we’ll take a good look back before we start preparing for the next one.

OMERT4 takes their first title in the A1 Adria League!

Saturday and the first day of Reboot Games Weekend brought us not only a FIFA23 champion but also the best Brawl Stars team in the region. After two seasons, Salada de Frutas has been dethroned and the new and talented players from OMERT4 are the new kings. OMERT4 won the finals after a dominant performance throughout the whole tournament.

A well-deserved win for OMERT4

Unlike the sportsmanship we saw between brstimir and Gruby in Saturday’s FIFA final, the Brawl Stars finale was full of sparks and tension. The famous three-man team Salada de Frutas and Andrey, DzonDzon, and Lavvek didn’t manage to defend the title this season. Previously they had won two consecutive titles in A1 Adria League. Instead, a young and talented OMERT4 took their well-deserved win in the Brawl Stars competition. Protic, Decai, and Bogdan were amazing on the stage and it could be seen on their faces how much winning the championship would mean to them.

OMERT4 Brawl Stars champions

Since the start of the tenth A1 Adria League season in Brawl Stars, OMERT4 showed dominant performance. They finished the group stage in first place with an overall of 290 points. In the playoffs, they eliminated GreekGod, and third-placed Jazavci.

Before the finals, the two teams met in the playoffs, and Salada came out victorious in that duel. OMERT4 however took their revenge and with a 3:1 score took the trophy and the right to call themselves the best Brawl Stars team in the region. How dominant the performance from OMERT4 was shown in the fact that they didn’t lose a single set in the finals. Salada de Frutas, as they came from the upper bracket, got an automatic win before the start, and that’s the only win they got that day. Everyone was amazed, from casters to the audience, how OMERT4 could easily outplay Salada. And we could see the disappointment, anger, and anxiety in the members of Salada as they were closer and closer to losing the competition. Eventually, it happened and OMERT4 took home a 900€ prize.

17-year-old Gruby is the new FIFA champion!

We witnessed a spectacular FIFA finale on Saturday at Reboot Games Weekend in Zagreb. A duel between Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac and Marko “Gruby” Grubišić left everyone watching speechless. After 2:0 for brstimir, Gruby returned and ended the final series with 3:2 and became the new A1 Adria League champion in the FIFA competition.

After two years new FIFA champion was crowned

The two best FIFA players of the tenth A1 Adria League season are brstimir and Gruby. As such, they both got an invitation to the LAN event powered by A1 held at Zagreb Fair. Brstimir is one of the best FIFA players in Serbia, he has a big experience and a couple of final attendances in A1AL. On the other hand, the new champion, Gruby is only 17 years old, and this is his first appearance in the League. It only took him one try, not only to win the title but also to eliminate the four-time champion, Tarik Novo. Achievement players couldn’t get in 2 long years.

Gruby and brstimir already fought early in the playoff stage, and in that match brstimir was victorious. Gruby however took his revenge in the grand final of the A1 Adria League. Since brstimir came to the finals from the upper bracket he received an automatic win and started the finals with an advantage. However, that didn’t bother the Croatian player. Even though brstimir won the second match as well and reached a game point, Gruby woke up after that and demolished his opponent.

Gruby FIFA champion in A1 Adria League

The first win for Gruby came in the third match overall, where we saw overtime after a 2:2 result. That game went to penalties where the 17-year-old triumphed with a 4:2 score. In the next match, we only saw one goal on the side of Gruby and the youngster evened out an overall score to 2:2. The moment of truth. Fifth and deciding match. The whole audience was on the verge of ecstasy. By the words of casters, the fifth match wasn’t for the faint-hearted. It was obvious that Gruby had more fans, and everyone wanted the rookie to win.

The final match of the final also went into overtime after a 2:2 score. In the 106th minute, Gruby takes the lead and just a couple of minutes after that he scores again and everyone in the audience rose up and applauded him. Even his opponent brstimir, after conceding another goal rose up, stopped playing, and gracefully accepted defeat. The match was over even before the final whistle, as brstimir congratulated his opponent Gruby on winning a well-deserved title.
