Vip Adria League CS:GO : halfway through the online qualifiers journey!
Time flies while you’re having fun, right? That’s how we feel because we’re already halfway through the open online qualifiers for CS:GO, and it’s been pretty nice so far.
During the first two rounds we had more than 300 players competing online for a place in the League, and ended up with 8 teams that advance to the next round. That leaves us with 8 more spots for the next part of our CS:GO qualifiers that will be filled in the next 2 saturdays.
The 8 teams that qualified for the next part of qualifying are:
- Q1: GameZone Prizren, KlikTech, HEJT, and BHGODS
- Q2: Project Lunacy, Represent Gaming, Dream Theater, and Vilay Esport.
So far we’ve seen some pretty great CS:GO action, and familiar teams like KlikTech and Project Lunacy are joined by some rather fresh faces, which will make for some great action in the qualifier groups. If you’re in dire need of application links, here’s the one for the third CS:GO qualifier, so you can secure a place in the online qualifications this saturday afternoon.
What’s next?
The 16 teams that advance through the open qualifiers will then enter the second part of the competition, the double elimination groups that will also be played online. The groups are scheduled to start 19.5. and will finish on 27.5. We’re looking forward to seeing how will the teams compete in the qualification groups. The entire online qualifications will be rounded up by our wildcard qualifier that is scheduled to start 9.6. Of course, we would advise against betting everything on the wildcard qualifier, as there’s two entire days worth of CS:GO qualifiers coming our way, and you and your team should definitely apply.
Once you get to the group stage, you’ll be set to compete for a piece of our €10.000 prize pool for CS:GO. The winners of the League will go home with €5.000, while the second placed team will earn €3.000. The fourth and fifth teams will win €1.500 and €500, respectively. Good luck in the qualifiers!
