Taking a first look at EAFC25 with KoRaa!
We are all excited about the new EAFC game. Even though the game is set to be released worldwide in September of this year, you can preorder it and try it out early on. If you want to know about the biggest changes and what EAFC25 will look like, read on to learn what our A1AL admin Maid “KoRaa” Korić says about it.
“I have already played FC25, Copy-paste of the last game?”
I sat down with KoRaa recently to discuss the new EAFC game and he had a lot of interesting thoughts. We discussed the gameplay, graphics, and changes that EA is bringing with this game as well as the things that stayed the same. For better or for worse.
“Because of the NDA, I am limited in what I can discuss, but I am free to discuss anything they have formally disclosed as well as my thoughts on it. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to test out a new version of the game even before the “beta phase.” Having not been quite satisfied with the previous four installations, I didn’t have high expectations for this one,” stated our EAFC admin.
Of course, my first question was about the graphics in EAFC25 since with every new release the game and the players look better and better. KoRaa agreed with me.
“As always, EA’s graphics and interface impressed me once again. They are mostly same as the last year’s, but no issues there, astonishing visuals, smoother menu, and easy to navigate, not a subject to change in my opinion.”
Gameplay is the most important aspect of the game and I loved to hear such a detailed description of what the new EA game is bringing to the table. KoRaa spared me no detail as he was explaining this to me.
“I had a chance to play around 15-20 matches. That was enough for me to get a first impression about how it’s gonna play out most likely. Everything appears to be the same at first glance—no differences from FC24; identical graphics and game speed.
However, after a few games, I realized how significant the alterations might actually be. FC IQ may appear to be an update to an outdated tactics system. Moreover, it goes much beyond that. Although team formations may appear straightforward in the menus, you can make each configuration flexible and distinct by adding player roles and additional instructions. This will force you to adapt and estimate your opponent’s strategies throughout every match. It is hoped that there won’t be “one” flawed strategy that is adopted by everybody. I am quite concerned that FC IQ might make defending even more assisted. But that’s yet to be discovered since I played only against AI.”
Our admin is also warning the players that they shouldn’t rely too much on the game when it comes to the accuracy of the passes. What other changes will there be I asked?
“I have to note a change to the passing system, which requires more logical passes, and making sure you can’t pass blindly with the game helping you to find your teammate.
Another notable change is that there are no more “contracts” which is a well-welcomed change that should have been made ages ago. Also, there is a new 5V5 game mode in Ultimate Team called “Rush” which I have not had a chance to try out. But I am very excited to see what it can bring to the table.”
He ended this lovely conversation by adding that we shouldn’t expect any remarkable breakthroughs or miracles that will amaze us in EAFC25. And on a more positive note, he does not doubt that local gamers will entertain us once more and boost our improvement with their hints and techniques.
