A1 Adria League Season 9 & Reboot Online Games Week (ROGW)
Season 9 of the A1 Adria League marked one of the biggest transformations in the history of the competition. For the first time, the League expanded from four to seven games, introducing a faster and more dynamic format. Instead of the traditional group stage, four main titles were played in a championship system with direct qualifiers and playoffs, making every match more impactful and raising the overall level of competition. Season 9 proved that the A1 Adria League continues to evolve while staying true to its core: elite regional esports.
Winners
In FIFA 22, history was made once again. Tarik “amke2001” Novo continued his unbelievable dominance by winning his fourth consecutive A1 Adria League title. Despite several newcomers trying to challenge his reign, amke2001 once again showed why he is the most successful FIFA player in the league’s history.
Brawl Stars belonged to the returning champions Salada de Frutas. DzonDzon, Andrey, and Lavvek secured their second straight A1 Adria League title after defeating Jazavci in the Grand Final. Their success didn’t stop there, as they went on to compete at the Clash of Leagues during LEVEL UP – The Gaming Festival in Salzburg, where they finished first, losing only to Aurora Esports on their road to the trophy.
In CS:GO, the North Macedonian powerhouse BLUEJAYS dominated the competition. They delivered convincing playoff performances, defeating both Zero Tenacity and BLINK in straight maps to secure the championship. Their dominance came as no surprise for a team that consistently hovered around the top 30 in the global rankings.
League of Legends delivered an exciting final, where DZANGLERI defeated Reroot Gaming to claim the title. After dropping the first map in the Grand Final, DZANGLERI quickly found their rhythm and turned the series around to lift the trophy.
PUBG: Battlegrounds was controlled by Entropiq, who proved to be a class above the rest of the region. They won three out of five maps, an incredible achievement in a battle royale format, and secured the championship in style.
Season 9 also welcomed VALORANT to the A1 Adria League for the first time. Balkan Stars became the inaugural champions after defeating tournament favorites Diamant Esports in a tense Grand Final, turning the series around after an 8:8 tie on the second map and closing the match without dropping another round.
In Clash Royale, the second mobile title of the season, Team Snipe emerged victorious and claimed the €700 prize, proving once again that mobile esports has a strong and growing place in the A1 Adria League ecosystem.
Season 9 was a statement season: more games, more champions, and more proof that the A1 Adria League is the leading regional esports platform in the Adriatic region.
