
A1 Adria League Season 3
In the third season of the A1 Adria League, Dota 2 was introduced as a brand-new competitive title. As Valve’s popular MOBA has a massive player base in the Adriatic region, the addition was met with great excitement. Moreover, the tournament showed that local teams are fully prepared to take the next step in their competitive careers.
Winners
After being sent to the lower bracket by The Last Jedis, Tim123 began an impressive comeback run. However, the setback only motivated him and his teammate Uroš “Swiftending” Galić to perform even better. First, they defeated Level Up in the lower bracket final. Then, they secured their revenge against The Last Jedis in the Grand Final. As a result, they were crowned the first-ever A1 Adria League Dota 2 Champions.
Meanwhile, in CS:GO, Team uNiQUE entered Season 3 as one of the strongest regional contenders. Once again, they proved why they were considered favorites. Led by Sener “SENER1” Mahmuti, the team fought their way through the upper bracket with confidence. Eventually, they overcame theOverpowered in the Grand Final match. Consequently, uNiQUE claimed the largest portion of the Season 3 prize pool, earning €1,000.
Behind them, the Macedonian teams TRTRR and Vilay eSport.Black secured third and fourth place respectively. In addition, Đorđe “DJOXiC” Niciforović’s to jeste finished the season in the 5th–6th position, rounding out a highly competitive CS:GO bracket.
In the Hearthstone tournament, the spotlight was on Franjo “reqvam” Blažević. Despite starting from the lower bracket, he managed a remarkable comeback. Ultimately, he upset LemiBiB in the Grand Final. Therefore, he walked away with the championship title and the €500 grand prize.
Similarly, the Clash Royale competition delivered thrilling matches. Throughout the bracket, Nikola showed outstanding consistency and composure. Most notably, his victories over ConeKorleone and Tocilovac proved decisive. As a result, he secured the Champion’s title for Season 3.
Overall, Season 3 of the A1 Adria League highlighted the rapid growth of esports in the region. Furthermore, the success of competitions in Dota 2, CS:GO, Hearthstone, and Clash Royale confirmed the league’s importance as a platform for developing regional talent. Finally, the diversity of champions and storylines showcased just how competitive and vibrant the Adriatic esports scene has become.
