CS2 and EA FC qualifiers are done; the best teams are here

After several rounds of qualifiers in both EA FC 26 and Counter-Strike 2, we rounded up the open qualifier stage over the past weekend. There’s not much time left before the playoffs, however. Both the CS2 and EA FC 26 playoffs will kick off over the weekend, so we’ve decided to round up the players and the teams who made it through in the A1 Adria League Season 15!

EA FC 26

In the world’s most popular football simulator, we saw a total of 36 different players secure points in the three qualifiers. To refresh your memory, each player was scored based on his performance in the qualifiers, and points were allocated according to the placement in the qualifiers. This means that more consistent performances brought more points, instead of just one flash-in-the-pan day of great luck. The eight best players have advanced to the next phase of the season:

Mupinho

misko_fifa

Gruby

BackoSRB

Cyber_fico

The_Prodigy

ssztbero

Novo

Mupinho had the overall best performance in the qualifiers and is the only player to have scored points across all three rounds. Total, he earned 150 points, which is 30 more than Misko and 50 more than both Gruby and Backo. The second half of the qualified players scored below 100 points, with ssztbero and Novo sharing the bottom two spots tied with 65 points.

Counter-Strike 2

In CS2, we saw several unreal matches, overtimes, ninja defuses and overall we can’t say that the qualifiers were lacking in any aspect. That being said, it’s time to gear up for the next phase of the competition, which is starting very soon (this weekend!).

On November 2nd, we’ll start the playoffs with two BO3 matches, followed by two matches in each following week until the grand finals in early December. The teams that will take part in the playoffs are:

0to100

PSYCHOACTiVE

Toronto

MANA

Ronin5

Diamant Esports

MOLO

The CS2 qualifiers were a bit different to the EA FC ones, due to the different nature of the game, of course. This meant that teams had several chances to qualify, but needed to climb a bracket in order to do so.

In the first round of playoffs on the second day of November, we’ll watch two best-of-three games. The first one will be between 0to100 and ONYX while the second match will see PSYCHOACTiVE meet Toronto.

Besides the playoffs, we’re also playing regular qualifiers in Brawl Stars and EA FC Mobile over the weekend. There’s still a tiny amount of time left for you to apply and try to qualify!
