Another week is behind us, and so is another round of qualifiers for the A1 Adria League Season 15. Over the course of the weekend, we had dozens of teams and players enter the qualifiers in Brawl Stars, EA FC Mobile, EA FC 26 and Counter-Strike 2. The third week’s end also means that we’re now officially over with the qualifiers in two of our main games: CS2 and EA FC 26.
There are still cups to enter and games to be played across multiple titles. Several cups in EA FC Mobile and Brawl Stars are still to be played, and so are the qualifiers in PUBG: Battlegrounds, set to start next month. You can find all the information on our official website!
Brawl Stars: The favourites are (kind of) back
In Brawl Stars, we had an interesting couple of weeks. Several of the most notable regional teams were not a part of the later stages of the qualifiers, and we saw many new names both make deep runs in the qualifiers and win them as well, which means that the next stage is sure to be very interesting. However, this time around we did see a comfortable run from Plačko Štoljpi (former CMM), who proceeded to win the qualifier with a big final win against Hollow Quacke. In addition, Dobri Momci also had a good run and managed to qualify for the next stage.
EA FC Mobile
In EA FC Mobile, we saw TaleTopG’s form continue, as he won the qualifier by beating SavaZver in the finals with 3:0. Tale has been in the top four players for several weeks now, and is currently one of the most consistent players in EA FC Mobile. On the flip side, however, Lazar and Nikolas still struggle to find real form despite great performances in the weekly cups earlier this year.
EA FC 26
The last round of qualifiers for the EA FC 26 tournament took place over the weekend, but was unfortunately plagued by technical issues. These issues made it impossible to play more than one match on stream, but we did see a dramatic game between Misko FIFA nad Mupinho to make up for the lack of other games. In the first game, Misko won 5:4 on penalties after the score was tied at 4:4 in regular time. In the second game, Misko again won on penalties with the same score, and secured his spot in the next stage.
Counter-Strike 2
The final CS2 qualifier saw some familiar names get back to winning ways. MANA dropped only 10 total rounds before the semi-finals, where they played an incredible series against H2S, which MANA won 2:0. Both maps went into overtime as the two teams were very similar in performance on both Inferno and Nuke. In the end, MANA managed to win both maps after four rounds of overtime in the first one and one round of overtime in the second map.
Sangrija had a tougher string of opponents, but managed to grab a win on their side of the bracket as well. They beat Neighbors 13:11 in their first match, followed by a great performance against Fighters, and the final win against DELTAxGRIPGEL.
Next week, we’re returning with more qualifiers in Brawl Stars and EA FC Mobile, which are still open for any interested teams and players!
