The first week of qualifiers has come to an end!

With CS:GO and FIFA finishing during the weekend, three of the four titles reached the end of the first set of qualifiers for the upcoming A1 Adria League season.

Brawl Stars

Over 80 teams signed up for the first Brawl Stars qualifiers. We saw familiar names in the Round of 16 with the Good Game Gold and Red teams securing a spot in the quarterfinals, while ULC eSports couldn’t outplay Never Surrender. FA Deadly were the better team in their match versus YouLose and Blue Whales managed to beat Old School.

Code Lyoko and FA Deadly couldn’t get past GG Gold and O9 Gang, respectively. ToDe05 and GG Red breezed past Blue Whales and MysteryWarriors secured the last spot in the semifinals. After two intense matches in the semis, both of Good Game’s teams advanced to the finals. A 3-1 victory for the Serbian side earned GG Red their first 100 points in the road to the playoffs.

Clash Royale’s only qualifier unfortunately got delayed because of problems inside the game. The qualifier will continue next Friday on the FACEIT platform.

FIFA

We had the chance to see familiar names in the first FIFA qualifier. Last season’s champion, esad1memic, convincingly secured his spot in the finals. JasikFifa and Harun met each other in the Round of 16 with the latter proceeding to the quarters. An interesting matchup happened between brstimir and amke2001 where the Serbian player managed to beat amke and enter the semifinal match versus Harun.

Even after a convincing win in his match against Aleksandar Djuric, Persunipzs wasn’t able to match up to esad1memic and ended the first qualifier in the fourth place. Harun had to play the third-place decider after a loss to brstimir who even beat the reigning champion, esad1memic, and won the first FIFA qualifier.

CS:GO

The first pair of open CS:GO qualifiers took place during the weekend. The best eight teams from this pair of qualifiers advanced to the closed qualifier that will take place during the next weekend. Three out of the eight participating teams will secure a spot in the sixth season of A1 Adria League, and the cycle will repeat for the next pair of qualifiers.

On Saturday we saw Karlo “KukaOG” Kukovec and peek me reach new heights and qualify for the closed qualifier. QSKE Gaming and Shock Bomb are now a step closer to the League after dominant victories against FREE KILL and Lemonsqueazy and the last team that secured a spot in the upcoming qualifier is Jan “jkXy” Konečnik’s Krsko squad.

After missing out on the first qualifier, Kristijan “kiLLeRa” Kukovski and GODZ1337 had no problems advancing to the closed qualifier. The Kosovar MiKS squad featuring names like vAloN and HYPER1 along with BUDI2 also entered the race for the three spots in the League. FREE KILL were the last team to end this qualifier victorious as they bested Wait Wait Wait on Inferno and Dust2 without any difficulties.

Sign up and compete in the FIFA and CS:GO qualifiers!

The first A1 Adria League day started with the Brawl Stars qualifiers. Clash Royale, unfortunately, got postponed because of problems that happened inside the game. We wouldn’t like the team that deserves the win the most to be eliminated because of a factor that they can’t influence. Until next week, it is time for FIFA and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to shine.

FIFA

This season of FIFA will feature nine qualifiers. The first three qualifiers will see the best players face off in first playoffs for a spot in the LAN finals. The same cycle will repeat in the second trio of qualifiers, and at the end, two FIFA21 players from the last three qualifiers will secure their places in the offline playoffs.

The qualifiers will once again feature a single-elimination format and they will be played on PS4. Our regional FIFA players have been asking to see Stevan Mačkić as a caster in our League. We contacted Stevan and he will now be duo-casting together with PvtMole.

Make sure to read the rules, join the qualifier, and fight for a spot in the finals!

CS:GO

Six qualified teams will join the two invited teams in the BO3 SWISS League. After each pair of qualifiers, the best eight teams will meet in a closed qualifier which will offer two spots in the main stage of the League. With both of the closed qualifiers coming to an end, we will have six new teams in the sixth season of A1 Adria League.

Blink and lvlUP received the invites to the League as they were the best two teams from the fifth A1 Adria League season. Familiar names and teams like Shock Bomb, GODZ1337, and Krsko have already signed up for the first qualifier.
We are expecting an incredible season filled with the best Adriatic Counter-Strike and we are looking forward to seeing the best of the best on LAN.

CS:GO Qualifier #1 – LINK – 08.08.2020

Who will win this season of A1 Adria League and bring home the lion’s share of the €11.000 prize pool?

Only one more spot remains in the CS:GO playoffs!

The last round of the A1 Adria League begins tomorrow, and for those who didn’t watch the fourth round, here’s a short recap of the Round 4 matches where Juggernauts managed to advance to the playoffs.

Shock bomb were eliminated from the tournament in one of the worst ways possible. On the first map in their match versus Blink, Shock bomb were able to hold their ground and play all 30 rounds of the match before falling short. The same story happened on Train, with Shock bomb once again losing in the last round of regulation. With this win, Blink advanced to the 2-2 pool and will fight Athaim for a spot in the playoffs.

An upset we had the chance to see in the fourth round was GamerS’ dominant victory in their match against Athaim (ex-Karavan). The Macedonian-majority team went 13-2 in the first half of Inferno. They continued the impressive form in the rest of the map and closed it out 16-2. Even though Athaim put up a better fight on Mirage, GamerS1337 were still a level above their opponents and finished this BO3 with a 16-8 win.

We saw another one-sided game between Juggernauts and Gameroids. Gameroids are a team that have a really good Dust2, but that didn’t stop the Serbian powerhouse from destroying them 16-7 and going into Vertigo with a 1-0 lead. Aleksa “Impulse” Stankić had a great game on Vertigo and carried his team to a 16-6 victory on the second map on the series. Juggernauts secured the second spot in the playoffs while Gameroids will have their last qualification chance against GamerS1337 in the fifth round.

In the first match of the fifth round, GamerS1337 managed to secure one of the remaining spots in the playoffs. After a 0-2 start, Blaže “HEv1X” Hristov’s team outplayed Gameroids on both Mirage (22-19) and Dust2 (16-10). This means that we will not be seeing Gameroids compete during this season anymore, and we wish them the best of luck next season!

CS:GO LAN Finals

The stage has been set the actor made known the only thing is to get this show started!

Let us introduce the teams that will be performing in front of everyone in Zagreb.

1. BLUEJAYS – at this point ex-Bluejays due to some internals problems the player’s decision to compete under the name ex-Bluejays. They had a phenomenal run throughout the group stage only dropping one single map to Unique, a team that they recently characterized as a team full of high performing individuals that are really hard to play against. Good thing they won’t be facing them in the semifinals but rather they will play against Vilay eSport. They are coming into the LAN finals as the favorites with their almost perfect track record we just hope that the recent organizational problems don’t affect their play.

2. uNique.Xportal – they came out blazing in the group stage, they didn’t lose 2 maps to any team and were the only ones to take a map of Bluejays, nobody should judge them with last years setup they are currently in their strongest form and they do not show any signs of weakness. Their opponent in the semi-finals will be team Jeste they managed to take both maps from them in the group stage, will it be a repeat of that encounter or will team Jeste manage to exploit some weakness, we and the crowd are eagerly expecting to see the result of these 2 teams crashing against each other!

3. Vilay eSport – Showing a strong performance overall only dropping two maps to Bluejays in the group stage which they will have to face in their semifinals match again, as Miloše “dEE” Marčeta recently said in the interview they can’t wait to play v.s their friends in Vilay eSport. Nothing is yet written in stone and the crowd might have an influence in the matches outcome we have some local fan favorites in the team like Luka “Brky” Brkanac the de desk analyst from previous years LAN finals, we can’t wait to see him perform on the other side of the action, best of luck to all of you!

4. JESTE – Rocky performance in the group stage which made them start of the online playoffs from the lower bracket but hey they overwhelmed everyone in it without dropping a single map they won the online playoffs and they don’t want to stop their dominance, they will be facing Unique in their semifinals match. In the group stage they lost both maps v.s them but a new stage a new crowd, they already showed that when their back is against the wall that they show no fear will they manage to show the same commitment and result as they did in the playoffs we are dying to find out!

Let’s take a moment to thank all of the team throughout the whole grope stage for giving us such amazing and thrilling matches and we think that the best is yet to come, therefore, do not miss the action.

A1 Adria League LAN finals for CS:GO will be played in a single-elimination bracket and all matches will be the Bo3 series.

Schedule:

10:00 BLUEJAYS vs. Vilay eSport
13:10 uNiQUE.Xportal vs. Jeste
