FIFA22 is waiting for the new champion!

The FIFA22 group stage in A1 Adria League didn’t lack surprises and upsets. We have watched eight players compete for the top 4 and the spot in the playoff stage of the competition. In the end, it was Mrky, brstimir, Novo, and esad1memic who secured it.

Can someone dethrone Novo?

It is known that for the last couple of seasons one player has been dominating the A1 Adria League in the FIFA competition. Tarik “Novo” Novo this season has the chance to win his fourth trophy in a row. Even though he is a big favorite, seeing that he is defending the title, he had some trouble securing the spot in the playoff stage of this season’s competition. With the 3:2 score, he managed to secure the FIFA22 playoffs in the last round.

Novo: “I expect tough competitors, but for sure I will give my best just as I have done so in the past. I hope for the best, but in FIFA everything is possible. I want to congratulate all players on the well-played matches, and wish everyone good luck in the next stage of the competition.”

The first player who secured this stage in A1 Adria League is Marko “Mrky2402” Matančić. He is the only player from this year’s top 4 who didn’t participate in the last season’s playoff. A new player with a lot to offer. He showed in a couple of first rounds of the group stage what his intentions were and were the first to go further in the competition. And he did it with a perfect score of 3:0.

Apart from Mrky, another familiar name is making his appearance in the top 4 in FIFA22. Miloš “brstimir” Majdevac has yet again secured himself a chance at the title. As he knows his opponents well, we can only expect fierce competition and outwitting of sorts.

Another Bosnian player is gonna compete for the prize, and it is the champion from the fifth A1AL season. Esad “esad1memic” Memić took his time to secure this stage and have a chance to take the title once again. He secured it by defeating a new player in the league Jero, which was more than expected.

Esad: “Top eight went by easier than ever even though it looked hard. Sarajevo yet again has two players in the playoffs, and the competition is always the same, the same people are here besides the new addition as the fourth player is Mrky who is a great player. I don’t have any expectations this season, to be honest, what happens happens. I’ve never been more cool-headed and that might be the problem for my opponent, and not me. Regards to everyone from A1AL and to all who follow.”

Novo and Esad are the last players who secured the top 4!

Last night the last matches of the FIFA22 group stage were played. We had two interesting matchups where four players fought for the last two spots in the A1 Adria League playoffs. In the end, our three-time champion Novo secured the spot in the final 4, as well as esad1memic.

Novo and Esad last to the finish line

Two more players last night secured the wins and will now join Mrky and Brstimir, who had already made it to the FIFA22 playoffs. The first to do so was Novo, who was expected to secure the next stage of A1AL earlier in the competition. As he struggled throughout the first two rounds of the group stage, it took him a while to reach the goal. His opponent was DrPecho who had the most number of points in the qualifiers. The first match led us to extra time where Novo kept his cool and scored a goal after his tiki-taka action right before the final whistle. Novo opened the second match with a quick goal, but Pecho bounced back and made sure they go to extra time again. In the end, penalties decided our 3rd player in the final 4. They both read each other shots pretty well, but the final result on penalties was 3-2 in Novo’s favor.

The last spot was to be secured by either Esad or Jero. As usual, Esad started with his attacking football right from the beginning, ending his attacks with his signature “chip shot” technique. In the second match, he was a way better player on the pitch, and he secured his 3-2 win with ease. He dominated the third match as well and keep his legacy of reaching the top 4 in every A1 Adria League season he played. With this win, Esad secured himself a chance to fight for 1750$ prize pool 2 weeks from now!

Mrky, Brstimir, Novo, and Esad are the top 4 FIFA22 players in the ninth season of the A1 Adria League! Can anyone dethrone Novo, or is he coming for the title once again?

Esad1memic takes the first FIFA 22 qualifier

The first FIFA 22 qualifier for the ninth season of the A1 Adria League is finished. It’s just first out of four qualifiers which means there is still enough time to earn those valuable points and qualify for the group stage. The bracket for the first qualifier was full with 64 players trying to secure their spot in the League. Just a reminder in case you missed it. Every qualifier is open for sign up and the top 16 players earn points.

Esad1memic shines, amke2001 out in the first round

The three-time champion Tarik “amke2001” Novo had a rough start in the first qualifier. He shockingly lost in the first round to Marko “mrky2402” Matančić. Luck wasn’t on mrky’s side and he was stopped by Armin “arminho” Hasanbegović in the third round. After the win against mrky, arminho was cruising through the competition until reaching the semifinals. Esad “esad1memic” Memić was too strong of an opponent. Both players know each other pretty well and this time esad1memic was better. On the other side of the bracket, we had the biggest surprise of the first qualifier.  Karlo “jero” Jerekin managed to beat some well-known names to reach the grand finals of the first qualifier in his first appearance in the A1 Adria League. He is a part of FIFA Balkan Community for some time now but just this year he decided to compete in the League.

The grand finals kicked off in an amazing way. Esad1memic had a 2-0 lead but jero managed to claw his way out of it and take the game into extra time but it wasn’t enough. Esad1memic managed to close it out 5-3. The second game also went into extra time after 2-2 during the first 90 minutes. Similar to the first game, esad1memic being the more experienced player, managed to win by scoring another goal in extra time.

Alongside jero, we saw Enes “Encika” Hodžić and Andrija Kodžoman win 20 points in their first qualifier as well.
