Hara takes down Gruby in the first FIFA qualifier and earns 100 points!

The first FIFA23 qualifier has ended in favor of Harun “Hara” Parla who defeated the current FIFA champion Marko “Gruby” Grubisic. Out of 180 players Hara managed to get to the top of the competition and earn himself 100 points. Gruby in second place got 70 points, which was also a really good start to the tournament.

Hara wins the first FIFA qualfier

As you already know FIFA competition in the A1 Adria League has four qualifiers, where the players compete in order to earn as many points as they can. In the end, the best eight players, with the most points and best performance are entering the league and the group stage.

The first qualifier was really interesting to watch, and we saw some familiar names again. Brstimir, Gruby, Hara, Esad1memic, Tarik Novo, arminho, and many others all entered the competition, while some unfamiliar players also showed promising performances.

Like last year Gruby was once again better than Tarik Novo, this time in the fifth round when the former got a win and advanced further in the competition reaching the finals. Hara, his opponent in the finals, is an old A1AL player and he also took down big names such as Esad1memic and arminho. In the grand finals, it was Parla who was better, and in the decider match, he snatched a win on the penalties, making it 2:1 in the overall score.

The match for third place was played between Armin “arminho” Hasanbegovic and Filip “FIFAFICO” Babic, and Fico came out victorious and earned himself 50 points, while Arminho got 40.

The second FIFA23 qualifier is scheduled for next week, April 14th, when the players will fight for even more points and a chance to play with the best regional players. If you still haven’t signed up for it you can do it HERE!

Harmony finally wins the trophy in the A1 Adria League!

On Thursday, April 6th, the first mini-tournament in the 11th season of the A1 Adria League was played. Through this one day, we have seen more than 20 teams compete for the top prize and a trophy in League of Legends. The battle was fierce and we saw some great and exciting games. In the end, the team who climbed all the way to the top and became the champion was Harmony.

Harmony dominated the tournament

After many brilliant performances from Harmony in A1 Adria League, the prize for this team has finally arrived. Harmony is a well-known name in A1AL, and we have seen them compete in the previous two seasons as well. The title was always near, but Harmony couldn’t get it. Twice they reached the grand finals, and twice they were on the verge of winning the whole thing. This year it finally happened, and it was deservedly.

Needless to say, the North Macedonian team was a force to be reckoned with in this tournament. Their first two matches didn’t even last 30 minutes, and their opponents kept surrendering even before losing an inhibitor! Up until the finals Harmony was stomping their opponents in the Bo1 match. In the grand finals, they took on team Elitni Odredi, but they weren’t a problem either, as Harmony became a champion with a 2:0 score.

As a winner Harmony received a 600€ prize, while the runner-up took home 300€. We also had a battle for third place and a 100€ prize between Panda Claus’ Party and SPIRITUAL ZERO – REFORMED, where the latter got the win.

The first mini-tournament is successfully over, but there is no reason to fret, as we have more of these coming soon. The next up is the VALORANT tournament, which will be played next week, April 13th. For Riot’s FPS game, you can sign up HERE!

CS:GO is one of the main games in A1AL, and as such has the highest prize pool which will be awarded and distributed to the best teams in the region. We know the fans are waiting for the start of this tournament in the 11th A1 Adria League season, so let’s begin with the qualifiers for the main event in CS:GO.

Make your mark in the regional CS:GO scene

For so many seasons we have witnessed great players and extraordinary talents make the start of their careers, right here in the A1 Adria League. We are continuing with this tradition this year as well, and we are welcoming more and more young players, as well as experienced ones. The matches are always as exciting as ever, and the start of the competition is just around the corner.

The format in CS:GO hasn’t changed from previous seasons. We will have four open qualifiers, where teams will have a chance to earn their spot in the league, i.e. in the group stage of the A1 Adria League in this popular FPS game. Eight teams will advance from the qualifiers, the best two from each one. After completing the SWISS group stage and single-elimination playoffs, we’ll rejoice in the crowning of the newest A1 Adria League champions in CS:GO. The top four teams will battle in the playoffs and share a 7000€ worth prize pool, where the champion will take home a whopping 3,500 euros.

The qualifiers are scheduled for April 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th, so there is still plenty of time to sign up and begin your climb!

Grandmas Gambit are the second VALORANT champions in A1AL!

VALORANT championship made its first appearance in the A1 Adria League in the ninth season. Then we crowned team Balkan Stars. A couple of months later here we are at the end of the second championship in Riot’s popular FPS and we already have a new champion. Team Grandmas Gambit took home the title after an amazing run throughout the competition.

Best regional players in Grandmas Gambit

Unlike last season, the VALORANT championship in the tenth A1 Adria League season was played for one whole day. There were a lot of good teams, but in the end, the team that was dominating the competition was Grandmas Gambit. They defeated everyone in their path without losing a single map which was impressive.

In the second round, the team that was eliminated first was Tokita. They were defeated with a 2:0 score since it was Bo3. After them, the champions swept away the team Why No Eco. In the finals, they were against CWE_WHITE which was the most successful on the other side of the bracket. They also didn’t have a loss before they came into the final match against Grandmas Gambit.

In the finals, the whole amount of two maps were played since that is all it took for Gambit to become champions. The final match-up started with CWE_WHITE banning Haven, while Gambit didn’t want to play on Breeze. The first map was picked by CWE and they chose Bind, while Gambit wanted to play on Ascent. Evidently, they won on both maps, securing the championship with a swift win.

Grandmas Gambit was the biggest favorite for winning the title. Many familiar names in the VALORANT pro scene are a part of that team such as qpert, elllement, tatzuki, kequeq, and bmblbe. Elllement and qpert are not just famous in the region but in Europe as well. Elllement used to play for Excel, while qpert signed for Cloud9 just a few days ago. However, the best man in the finals was bmblbe with the best KDA score. He got 32 kills in each game. Except qpert, the whole roster in Grandmas Gambit is looking for a team, so check out their performance!

Entropiq defends the title in PUBG!

The second PUBG competition in the A1 Adria League got its champion at the beginning of the week. Once again the title went into the hands of Entropiq. This amazing team had no trouble defending the title and securing it for one more season. We can say that the PUBG competition this year without a doubt belonged to this team.

Entropiq is above the competition

The biggest favorites of the PUBG competition this season went on to take home the title and the prize. Entropiq managed to defend the title and they are now the two-time consecutive A1AL champions in this Battle Royale game. Out of the invited teams, excluding Entropiq who won the whole thing, the best performance had the team MForce who placed third. While the worst was Sneaky Foxes who only had 21 points and 14 kills in six games which brought them 12th place.

Entropiq took the title accumulating 63 points and 37 kills in all six games which was a great result. In second place was team Hall of Game which interestingly enough had more kills than Entropiq, but fewer points. They had 47 kills overall but six points less than the first-placed team. And as mentioned MForce was third with an overall 49 points and 30 kills.

Ivas and his team are having a really good year, and this title was expected of them. This year they were also crowned the best in the ninth A1 Adria League season as well as in the European PCS Series 6 which is an S-Tier tournament.

The best three teams, unlike last season when only two were awarded, shared the prize pool in the A1AL PUBG tournament.

  1. Entropiq – 600€
  2. Hall of Game – 300€
  3. MForce – 100€
